Hot off the Press. I just received this in an email this morning. There is such information in the whole email that it is difficult to have to pick and choose. This one is the most imminent concerning 11-11 which is next Wednesday. This is an opportunity for the whole collective of humanity and the more the merrier. Please add your consciousness to this day and focus on THE GATEWAY OF THE ARCHANGELS ON 11-11.

I know it is unusual for me to begin with a link but I feel the importance of the message and the opportunity for you to choose to participate. I will set aside time, perhaps pockets of time on that day to immerse myself in the meaning of this day. I believe in miracles, do you? We will receive what we focus on and it is only one day among the rest of your life that will benefit you and your loved ones. This is one thing we have been called to do as humans because only HUMANS can accomplish this.

My weather has been so beautiful the last two weeks and the weathermen are predicting another week of warm weather, in the 60’s and 70’s. For October and November, this is a real treat. Considering that only 4 years ago we had a huge snow storm on Halloween, I am savoring this time. Most of the boats are now moored on dry land although there are still a few diehards out there. I am sure they are happy to still have their boats in the water so they can still enjoy the spring like feeling. There is a speed boat that has been going by almost daily and a couple of pontoon boats are still ambling by. The little juncos (birds) are back. They are migrants that come back north for the winter and they are ground feeders. They are so cute, small and cuddly looking with their white bellies and charcoal grey top. I have not seen any migrant ducks yet, the ones that dive for food under the water. Do they know something we do not?

I would like to warn you about something that happened to me this past Sunday. I was on my computer when all of a sudden a siren (shrill intermittent beeps) was coming from my speakers. It was hurting my ears so I shut my speakers off and noticed that I had two screens on my computer. One was ¾ of my screen (quite large) and there was a smaller white one imposed on top of that. The large one had error messages with numbers but I could not read the whole thing because he white one was on top of it. The white one told me NOT TO SHUT OFF MY COMPUTER BECAUSE MY SYSTEM WAS IN DANGER. I clicked the top arrow to turn it off but it came right back. There was no way I could get my system back unless I shut it down and I was warned not to. It said it was Microsoft and gave me a number to call and they would help. In this case, ignorance was not bliss. Since I did not know what this was or what to do, I called the number and was told by a Microsoft certified technician (as he called himself) that my computer was in jeopardy. He convinced me to let him into my computer and he set about proving to me that I had no firewall and that there were 128 messages from Microsoft beginning in November, 2014 that I had not received. It all seemed to be on the up and up “until” he told me he could help me and offered three separate packages that I could buy. “You are nothing but a salesman” I told him (no offense to sales people). He replied: “We are Microsoft Certified”. He could be certified but he certainly was not from Microsoft. I had believed he was from Microsoft and that was the only reason I trusted him. As I told him no way, static and interference came over the phone, another ploy. I would not hang up and finally he came back on the phone apologizing for the interference that had happened. I finally hung up and was sitting here wondering what to do when my younger son called and I told him what had happened.

He came over right away and called Microsoft for help. It seems they have been having a lot of complaints about this happening. I believe that shrill siren set my mind into a tizzy so it was not functioning on all burners. I take responsibility for being very vulnerable and I felt quite stupid for falling for this sham. My pride at not being conned certainly took a huge hit. I guess I pride myself at being smart enough to sense when I am being lied to because I am elder who has had a lot of experience with people like that. After each episode of being taken advantage of, I swore to myself that I would not let it happen again. But it did! My lack of computer savvy leaves me vulnerable but it also made realize even at a deeper level that we need each other to survive. It is OK to be vulnerable as it opens you to your innate knowledge and intuition. It also lets you be willing to accept help from someone that knows more about that subject than you do. My son and Microsoft was able to take away the virus that had been implanted on my computer and I am telling you so that you do not fall for this NEW system that has been developed to scam you. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER.

I know that the news is not mentioning the refugee crisis as often as it has been. Eckhart Tolle has a perspective on this that is eye opening.

GOOD SAMARITANS – DO YOU KNOW ANY?

How glorious it is to see such vibrant colors that Mother Nature is sharing with us. I have a maple tree in my yard that is a most striking vibrant orange. Looking across the lake I have enjoyed the changing of the leaves for at least two weeks now. The ones near the water change first and then it gradually goes up the mountain trees behind that. It is now starting to show white or grey leafless trees amidst the colorful ones who are still in process. Sounds like humanity doesn’t it? There are always the light green of the new ones, the colorful ones in process and which gradually go to the grey of the seniors. Each has its day and moment of glory. There are still pontoon boats around the lake as the residents are enjoying the last bit of warmth and color.

Something happened to me yesterday that reminded me of how useless worry and planning are. One of my strengths is my planning ability-my preparing for each contingency. Then I chuckle or downright laugh as my plans are interrupted with something completely different than I expected but is actually something better. We are taken care of, looked after in a way that shows itself in small and large ways. As I was driving down this 2 lane highway with a steel barrier parting the east and west bound, I was in the fastest lane, the passing lane. All of a sudden, I heard and felt this shaking and loud sound. As I looked in my rear view mirror I noticed the plastic covering for my spare tire in the middle of the lane. ???? For a moment I did not know what to do but I then started to look for a way to turn around. It seemed like an eternity as I was not finding a left turn to turn around. I had several cars tooting at me and then passing me telling me about what had fallen off my SUV. I tried to signal that I was trying to turn around. Finally I did something I suppose I should not have done but I was so concerned that that covering which was as large as my tire was in the passing lane and could very well create an accident. I went right into a driveway opposite an opening in the guard rail at a light and then cut across but had to wait to make the Uturn because there was traffic coming. The cars trying to go left from their direction were tooting their horns and I am sure many were frustrated with me.

Finally I was going back but then had to stop at another light so I could make another U-turn. I was wondering where I had lost it as it felt like I had traveled miles. I tried to see it in the opposite lanes as I made my way back. I saw it and tried to guestimate just how far I would have to go to retrieve it. I made another U-turn and thought I had better put my emergency blinkers on. I put the lights on and started to go slow to let the other cars coming fast that I was in trouble. I was terrified to stop in this lane as the other cars swerved to avoid me but I had no choice. It was not only that I would need this tire cover, the most important thing in my mind was safety for others, although it probably did not seem that way by what I was doing. I knew that an accident could occur as other cars tried to swerve not to hit it and could run into cars in the other lane.

I took a deep breath and finally stopped my car and noticed as I did so that another car behind me had stopped a distance away and put his flashers on too. I hopped out of my car and retrieved the cover in the road in front of me, put it in my trunk, acknowledged the other driver and blew him a kiss as I hopped back into my car and back to safety as I drove off. There was a woman with him who looked at me so confused but I waved again at my hero as he drove past me in the passing lane as I went into the slower lane.

What an experience!!!!!!! Of course it took me a while to quiet my heart and breath. I realized how many people had risked their lives so I would be safe. The ones honking at me to let me know something had fallen off my car to the biggest hero of all who protected me by risking his life and car to defend my back as well as my body. Whew! How many times do people we do not know come to our rescue? I had no way of verbally thanking him or even mailing a thank you card with no name or address.

That day started out so calm, even if I was frustrated that the idiot lights (I call them that) had come alive on my dashboard. Before I left to see John of God, a light saying Maint req’d shone bright. I called my mechanic and he said not to worry about it so I didn’t. I came home and 5 days ago, the light for my pressure in my tires went on. UGH! I had decided to go see my mechanic so he could shut those idiot lights off. He had told me just to stop by and he would do it. He checked all my tires and still the light would not go off. He suggested I go to a tire place that would have different equipment to test why it would not shut off. I set off for Town Fair Tire which was about 1/2 hour away but they had been very good to me the last time so I wanted to reciprocate. I was on my way there when the fiasco above happened. When I finally got to the tire place, they checked my tires and finally were able to shut that darn light off. I asked them if they could put the cover back on my spare tire and they did it. They were so willing and they didn’t even charge me. My mechanic had not charged me either so boy, was it my lucky day? I am so gratefull, for these may be small things to those offering it, but they make my heart grow bigger and I try to Pass it On when I get the chance. Isn’t that what makes this world go around? There are more people like that on this planet than the ones that take advantage of us. Let us be thankful for them and try to be aware of the times when we can give back.

Here is simple way to calm our mind and spirit. It amazes me how we actually use our breath in so many ways. During my episode, I was calm inside but outside, my body was doing its job by breathing deeply. It seems to happen so naturally to me now but there are still times, I need to do it consciously.

With all the news about guns and all the shootings, I could not come to any decisive way to stop the tragedies…..until I read this article in the Spirit of Change magazine. It has a lot of food for thought and a way that I would never have considered. See what you think.

Life can be so exciting. It thrills me to see all the new innovations that are created and the solutions to problems that I myself cannot figure out. I admire the human mind and all the guidance it receives. Here is a solution that, to my mind, was not possible. And yet it is.

LAUGHINGLY DEALING WITH MERCURY RETROGRADE

I apologize for last week’s newsletter, it was not as professional as I would have liked. I really hope you took the opportunity to listen and download that angelic music directly from the heavens above. It certainly was an energetic download on Pentecost for all of us whether you felt it or not. I felt it was so important that I scrambled to get it to you in time.

Whew! It has been a high activity of Mercury Retrograde for me the last week and a half. You know what Mercury Retrograde means don’t you? All of communication and its devices are scrambled, much like wires that got tangled. What a journey to choose, buy and set up a computer. I am grateful that although I was experiencing many laughable and challenging moments, not everyone is affected to the same degree…….only those who were along for my ride. I did my due diligence and went to Staples to check out what was being offered and to try to decide just what kind of computer did I want and need. Windows or a Mac? A small tablet? A large One in All? One with touch screen or one without? Windows 7 (yes they still have them but I was looking for a windows 10)? I discovered if I purchased a Windows 8.1, I could get a free upgrade in the fall when the 10 comes out.

I wrote down all the numbers and even went to Walmart to see what they offered. I came home and called a very dear friend who is computer savvy and Barry checked them out on the computer because I could not possibly remember what all the specifications were especially since I did not know what they meant. He patiently gave me a quick lesson in RAM and GB’s and helped me make the decision. I then called Staples the next day only to find out that they did not have any in stock and it would take 5 days to have it shipped and, ready to laugh, I found out later that they were not available online????? So I verified with another store an hour away that they indeed had one available and that they would be able to download all my files from my now crashed computer to my new one and it would be ready the next day.

So off I went with my old computer and my charge card. I left early to get there early and it was only 1pm and since they have service techs available for 24 hours a day, there should be no problem. After I purchased it I was told that they would try to have it ready for me the next day but it was not a guarantee, they only guarantee it in three days. Now starts the fun, they would call me when it was ready. Have you had to sit and wait for something you really need? It does try your patience doesn’t it? I called at noon and was told that it had not even been started but it might be ready around 3pm.

It seems Staples has a national contract with a company that has many techs doing the work. All the stores call in to these techs and get in cue, which means each call waits in line for the next available. Imagine the whole country calling that company; you can imagine how busy it is. And….if there is an error in transmission; you need to get back in cue again. Would you like another chuckle, the company is called The Matrix.

I left early as I needed to go in that direction to go to Mass so I thought I could pick it up either before the 5:30pm Mass or afterwards. I stopped and checked in with them and it still had not even been put in cue. I told them I would call after Mass. When I called after Mass, they told me it still was not done. It seems that it is a smaller store which does not have many techs and it does not have the power of the larger store so it takes much longer to transmit info via the computer to the Matrix. They assure me they would have it ready tomorrow but could not guarantee it (3 days). I called the next day at 10am when they opened but no techs were available, they would not be in until noon. I called at 12:30pm and was told that they had not been able to download The Office but they had downloaded some free software that I would need any way. In the purchase of this service, I was entitled to 3 downloads and they had given me four, some of which I could have downloaded myself. I could not do the Office one without extra help but my friend had offered to help me when he found out what happened.

It was ready to go so I travelled to get it and when I got there, I was told that another tech found a way to download office so it was now in the process of doing that entire download but it was still slow in accomplishing it. Would you like to smile a little? Remember Mercury Retrograde. It seems when they tried to make a recovery disc with everything I would need in case this computer crashed, they were unable to. They tried 6 times and each time halfway through, the disc would be stopped so they would have to throw it away. They finally did the recovery information on a flash drive. They close at 7pm on Sunday and I finally left there WITH MY COMPUTER at 10 minutes before closing. I got home and did not even open it, I was wiped out. The next day, Barry called and helped me get it ready for me to start playing. Friends are so important and I relish mine.

During this entire process, I tried to keep my cool but I was physically and mentally tired. There was a part of me that kept chuckling at the scenarios that were occurring. Have you ever watched a sitcom on TV and laughed yourself silly as you relate to the drama. The part of me that was laughing at me was having one hell of a good time. I am proud of myself that I could just let that part of myself have fun while my other parts were experiencing a great deal of frustration. It is more frustrating when you don’t know what you need to know about what you are doing. I am sure you can relate. I sincerely hope that your time in this Mercury Retrograde is much easier yet I learned a great deal that I did not know before.
