LAUGHINGLY DEALING WITH MERCURY RETROGRADE

I apologize for last week’s newsletter, it was not as professional as I would have liked. I really hope you took the opportunity to listen and download that angelic music directly from the heavens above. It certainly was an energetic download on Pentecost for all of us whether you felt it or not. I felt it was so important that I scrambled to get it to you in time.

Whew! It has been a high activity of Mercury Retrograde for me the last week and a half. You know what Mercury Retrograde means don’t you? All of communication and its devices are scrambled, much like wires that got tangled. What a journey to choose, buy and set up a computer. I am grateful that although I was experiencing many laughable and challenging moments, not everyone is affected to the same degree…….only those who were along for my ride. I did my due diligence and went to Staples to check out what was being offered and to try to decide just what kind of computer did I want and need. Windows or a Mac? A small tablet? A large One in All? One with touch screen or one without? Windows 7 (yes they still have them but I was looking for a windows 10)? I discovered if I purchased a Windows 8.1, I could get a free upgrade in the fall when the 10 comes out.

I wrote down all the numbers and even went to Walmart to see what they offered. I came home and called a very dear friend who is computer savvy and Barry checked them out on the computer because I could not possibly remember what all the specifications were especially since I did not know what they meant. He patiently gave me a quick lesson in RAM and GB’s and helped me make the decision. I then called Staples the next day only to find out that they did not have any in stock and it would take 5 days to have it shipped and, ready to laugh, I found out later that they were not available online????? So I verified with another store an hour away that they indeed had one available and that they would be able to download all my files from my now crashed computer to my new one and it would be ready the next day.

So off I went with my old computer and my charge card. I left early to get there early and it was only 1pm and since they have service techs available for 24 hours a day, there should be no problem. After I purchased it I was told that they would try to have it ready for me the next day but it was not a guarantee, they only guarantee it in three days. Now starts the fun, they would call me when it was ready. Have you had to sit and wait for something you really need? It does try your patience doesn’t it? I called at noon and was told that it had not even been started but it might be ready around 3pm.

It seems Staples has a national contract with a company that has many techs doing the work. All the stores call in to these techs and get in cue, which means each call waits in line for the next available. Imagine the whole country calling that company; you can imagine how busy it is. And….if there is an error in transmission; you need to get back in cue again. Would you like another chuckle, the company is called The Matrix.

I left early as I needed to go in that direction to go to Mass so I thought I could pick it up either before the 5:30pm Mass or afterwards. I stopped and checked in with them and it still had not even been put in cue. I told them I would call after Mass. When I called after Mass, they told me it still was not done. It seems that it is a smaller store which does not have many techs and it does not have the power of the larger store so it takes much longer to transmit info via the computer to the Matrix. They assure me they would have it ready tomorrow but could not guarantee it (3 days). I called the next day at 10am when they opened but no techs were available, they would not be in until noon. I called at 12:30pm and was told that they had not been able to download The Office but they had downloaded some free software that I would need any way. In the purchase of this service, I was entitled to 3 downloads and they had given me four, some of which I could have downloaded myself. I could not do the Office one without extra help but my friend had offered to help me when he found out what happened.

It was ready to go so I travelled to get it and when I got there, I was told that another tech found a way to download office so it was now in the process of doing that entire download but it was still slow in accomplishing it. Would you like to smile a little? Remember Mercury Retrograde. It seems when they tried to make a recovery disc with everything I would need in case this computer crashed, they were unable to. They tried 6 times and each time halfway through, the disc would be stopped so they would have to throw it away. They finally did the recovery information on a flash drive. They close at 7pm on Sunday and I finally left there WITH MY COMPUTER at 10 minutes before closing. I got home and did not even open it, I was wiped out. The next day, Barry called and helped me get it ready for me to start playing. Friends are so important and I relish mine.

During this entire process, I tried to keep my cool but I was physically and mentally tired. There was a part of me that kept chuckling at the scenarios that were occurring. Have you ever watched a sitcom on TV and laughed yourself silly as you relate to the drama. The part of me that was laughing at me was having one hell of a good time. I am proud of myself that I could just let that part of myself have fun while my other parts were experiencing a great deal of frustration. It is more frustrating when you don’t know what you need to know about what you are doing. I am sure you can relate. I sincerely hope that your time in this Mercury Retrograde is much easier yet I learned a great deal that I did not know before.

PERSPECTIVES & 11-11

Things keep breaking or breaking down, have you noticed? Nothing is the NORM anymore, thoughts and actions are changing around the world. Do you question why things are not going the same as it used to? Our whole planet is behaving differently that we are used to. The weather, politics, religion, jobs, food, etc….. seem to be different. Even the animals, the birds and the sea creatures are not behaving the same way. My birds are acting and feeding differently and I have new types coming. I have had only one sighting of the diving ducks that usually stop in their migration. The young men who take care of my leaves completely forgot me and the strong winds we are having did a lot of rearranging to them. One little tap and my favorite glass was broken. Then the pot for my coffee maker broke and I have not been able to find a glass replacement or a new one that does not overtake my counter space. Of course the full moon does not help but it is certainly beautiful. 11-11 is this week and I will give you some info on it which is exciting. My kayak is put away for the winter (darn). I usually keep it out until December but my son and grandson were here for one last fishing trip so I took advantage and they helped me do it.

Last weekend I was at a Catholic Charismatic Retreat given by one of my favorite Charismatic Priests , Fr. MacLear. It was held at the Holy Family Monastery in a neighboring state. Would you believe there was even a woman there who I used to work with and I have been retired 11 years? It was a very joyous weekend as we sing, clap and chant and the energy is uplifting. It felt so good to be able to do some favorite prayers like the rosary, etc. with people who enjoy it as much as I do. We had time for contemplation and time for rejoicing. The heat was not on so it was challenging but with everyone sharing the same predicament, it was easier to bear. The heat finally went on the second night and then my room was like a sauna. I could not regulate the thermostat because it is on the heating element and it just would not turn for me, perhaps I wasn’t strong enough but I found a younger woman who could turn it down but during the night, I still could not turn it higher to bring in more heat. The food presented a challenge but with patience and guidance the food staff did not starve me. The waiters and waitresses did their best even if at dinner one night, someone got the plain chicken that was meant for me but my table all waited until another chicken was cooked for me so I would not eat alone. There is always a rainbow after the clouds even when it is not visible to the naked eye.

I was researching the info I wanted to share with you when I came upon a video from Jim Self which expanded my mind and understanding of what is happening, why it is happening and what we can do about it. I was not going to listen to whole thing but once I started, I could not stop listening and I want to listen again. My newsletter is a little later than usual because this is about an hour long but it is sooo good.

11-11 is a powerful opportunity for us to manifest what we have been dreaming about. It also happens to be Veteran’s Day which is also an opportunity for us to be grateful for their sacrifice and valor and it is also a chance to create PEACE in the World as we no longer wish for our young people to have to give up their lives. Peace is possible and we can create it, one by one. Start with yourself, BE PEACE in yourself and then spread it to your friends and family and it will be contagious. Keep picturing and feeling PEACE.

ALL WILL BE REVEALED

I am sitting here waiting for the inspiration to come. There is so much I want to say that I am mute as I ponder what would impact you in a way that you need right now. You are having very full days…full of experiences and feelings of every kind. Time seems so malleable except when you are rushing to meet a deadline or get to an appointment. Have you even given yourself time to actually contemplate just how much you have experienced in one day? It is a good practice to have, especially at the end of the day when you give thanks for all the synchronicities that happened to you that made your day a lot easier.

I just received a call from my Propane Company who wants to reschedule their appointment with me. Yeah!!!!!! Last week when they made the appointment, they made it for the day that I do yoga which I was disappointed because I already missed one week because they shut down for vacation . One of the teachers has retired and they have not found another one yet to replace her so their schedules had to change at least for now. I was going to have to go at night or miss another week of yoga which my body really loves and needs. I accepted the appointment but I also asked the angels and universe to find a way that I could still do the yoga in the morning. Guess what? My prayers were answered. It is quite difficult to reschedule this appointment because it takes two men to move the outdoor buildings so they can get to the piping behind them. That is why I did not allow myself to be upset and yet my being still wanted to go to yoga. I love these synchronicities that happen without me planning them. I can allow and trust that All (Will Be) is Well. The more we trust we are taken care of, the more we can relax and take things as they come. I am playing with Being in the Moment a lot more.

I know I feel like a YoYo many times during the day. One minute I am grateful and the next moment I am worried, etc. Being aware of what I am thinking or feeling is becoming more frequent as I have set the intention to stay in the Fifth Dimension as often as I can. I release all drama and take deep breaths to bring me back to NOW. You can do this too. Just set your intention to remain in every moment and ask your guides or whoever you turn to for help to nudge you back into remembering. We have all played in this third dimension of drama for so many centuries that it takes a firm commitment to reboot your brain(computer) and come back to your heart which is where the greatest power resides. Love is the greatest power; give it to yourself and it will just flow from you to others.

Neale Donald Walsh has an article about God talking to us. It is thought provoking and might give you a little bit for your mind to chew on. My belief is that religions are basically quite similar. After all, all religions believe in God even though they may call God different names but it does not change who God is. We humans have given God the name God, Allah, Abraham, Higher Power, Source, etc. For example, if we call a table a chair, would that change what the table actually is? Religions serve a higher purpose of giving comfort and safety to us humans with a place we can gather together to share our LOVE. I compare religion with clothing. You choose to wear different colors and styles than I do but it is still all clothing. You choose a different religion than I do but it is still all LOVE. God gave us FREE WILL to CHOOSE so you have the freedom to choose your Faith and so do I. Let us share the similarities and respect the differences between us. Isn’t that what we do in every moment with every person we meet?

70 year mystery solved. This is just an example of what life has in store for us as ALL mysteries will be revealed. We just need to be patient and trusting that all will be revealed. Have you noticed that all secrets are being revealed? This is the time for all to be revealed; as soon we will be able to detect dishonesty as we finally allow our own intuition to come to the forefront. Trust your knowing or your gut.
