WHAT’S THE RUSH?

Happy Mother’s Day to all the souls that care for others.

Something wonderful happened to me.  It is not new but it is being expressed in a different mode.  I did Svaroopa yoga for about 20 years with a very special studio.  The teachers were great and a big plus was the floor which was heated from underneath and felt so wonderful in the winter. After the situation which injured my knee, I still kept going because they could accommodate my special needs.  Eventually, it was too painful for me and it took a great deal of time for me to adjust to different postures so I stopped going.  It has been 5 years since I have participated and then I got an email from them.  Guess what?  They are beginning yoga participation with Zoom on the computer.  I was so excited as I could participate at my own speed in my own manner without slowing down my classmates.

I attended the first zoom meeting even if I was late as I kept trying to get into the meeting.  It was so wonderful to see Krishna again and all the others who he was leading to bliss.  His studio has all the blankets and other helpmates to ease each student into comfortable positions and since I had been a regular yogi, I had my own as well. In fact, I had just put everything away in the garage a month ago as I felt I would not be using them again. Do you think the Universe was laughing as I brought them all back in to the house?

My favorite of all that we do is Shavasana and Ujjayi breath at the beginning and end of every session.  I meditate every day but I go deeper when Krishna is guiding me. It was so peaceful and encouraging to feel that depth again. I live alone so it was quite heartwarming to be part of a yoga group again, there is so much comradery.  Krishna is also offering half hour sessions of just Shavasana/Ujjayi twice a week in the evening as well as regular Svaroopa Yoga classes at different times and this is all on Zoom as well as in their studio. Check it out online to see if this appeals to you. This is a different yoga than what you are familiar with.

GLOBAL SOLIDARITY

How are you doing?  I am alone so it is quiet here, sometimes too quiet.  I only go out to grocery shop and it “feels” so funny not to recognize the ones I know.  They recognize me from my tiara but with their masks on, I don’t recognize them. From this experience, I have learned that my face is not made for a mask.  I have tried 7 different ones so far but my nose is small so it does not stay up there and when I push it into place, it alters what my eyes see.  I am waiting for one I ordered on line to see if a homemade one fits better.  I tried my son’s suggestion to use a tight TShirt and just pull it up over your nose but that did not work.  I finally settled on a bandana which I pin behind my neck but even that won’t stay up very well so I put on my cheater glasses so they will keep it on my nose. Such serious problems I have, I am smiling.  You and I are having different experiences designed especially for us and for our own individual growth.  A new world is being born, can you see it or feel it?

Love in Action

“… how much we do care for each other”

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC?

Nothing much is happening right with me in this Pandemic but I know of someone who can explain a lot of things.  Have you ever heard of Esther Hicks who channels Abraham?  Sometimes it takes me reviewing what she says a couple of times because it is so deep yet this message is deep but it also explains soooo much.  Have you even wanted to know about why you are here on Earth?  Etc. etc.?????  I have decided to let her speak to you in a way I have not heard before; Abraham clears a lot of questions that run around in my head and probably yours, too. Take a chance and see what can be cleared up for you.

This next video is a way to share my love of the birds. I have no idea why there are so many golden finches at my feeders.  I wonder if other feeders are empty.  They are emptying my feeder every day which is very unusual.  But, there is always a but; they are so beautiful to watch.  The males are now turning into pure gold with black patches over their eyes. There are a few who have fully molted and many who are a mixture of grey and gold. I seem to have more males at my feeders than females and I know they do not mate until August but they are so fierce right now.  They keep pursuing the others so they can get to the feeder.  Usually they are quite docile but there is more activity between them than I have ever seen.  This next video prompted me to share this with you.
