I just returned from my first kayaking expedition of this year.  The oars felt so much heavier than last year and I only went half way round the lake and came back as my muscles seem to need more exercise.  I will be happy to exercise more by kayaking yet the weather of wind and rain has been almost constant.  I won’t go out if it is windy as not only is it harder to row but you never know when a gust will come up.  My first jaunt is usually half away around and I am satisfied with that at first.  I usually go all around the lake and it takes me about an hour but this is only the beginning of my passion. I would say that only about half the boats are at their docks so there is a lot more to come. It is so much fun to see how much the homes or their surroundings have changed as the owners put their own spin on their water edge homes.

Being in quarantine gives most of us a chance to think about what is going on and what effect it has on us.  Here is an explanation of why and how this had been happening.  It is notable of the progress we have made so far.  This week is very important to our future so give a listen to Patricia Diane Cota Robles.  You will be happy you did.

Aluna Joy Yaxkin has received a poem from the Masters and like most poems, it takes time for it all to sink in.  I believe that this writing will make history as our future kin will understand it even better. It is easier to look back for the truth than to discern it while it is happening.

QUARANTINE GIFTS

We ARE in a great state of transition.  This is a great opportunity for families to share time together such as eating a meal together which had gone by the wayside for most.  Mother Nature is forcing us to focus on what is most important, each other. There are so many heroes in our purview right now:  all the humans who are willing to fight against the invisible danger to protect and help you and others be invisible by quarantining them.  They are all around you, look around and you will see them.  From the scientists who are searching for the antidote to all of the medical professionals who are risking their health to help those who have contracted the enemy, to the computer wizards who are finding new ways to inform you or teach your children or give you ways of communicating with the outside world. We humans do not like change but change is here and it is for our betterment. Let’s get creative and choose how to put our own flavor of this pandemic in the mix.

Mother Nature is the model for change as she adapts to all that her human guests ask of her.

I was surprised when I discovered some face masks in my garage.  I had bought them for a painting project many years ago and they suddenly appeared into view yesterday.  Who can figure?  Check your nooks and crannies and you may be surprised what suddenly appears to you.  Check out the surprise that was discovered, it is a good feeling article. I bet there is a lot to be discovered by others out there.

Here is another thought of how this Corona Pandemic got started.  I really hope they research this and publish the truth behind their investigation. No fear allowed, our inventions came into being because of someone thinking out of the box. Perhaps this could give us much more knowledge of how the 5G can affect our human bodies.

I hope no one forgets that yesterday was THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING. There is a lot to smile about.  I now have about 40 of the ducks I call MY DOBBLERs.  These are the transient ducks that use my lake as a go between either going north or now going south.  They make me laugh as they keep diving under and suddenly popping up, they chase each other around also.  The males have a lot of white on their bodies while the females are brown.  If they are not close to my beach, I see all the white bobbing up and down as they “fish” for food.  Oscar, the seagull, is fun to watch as he acts like a drone hovering above the 40 ducks and then dives at one to get their treasure.  I laugh as the duck merely dives under water to avoid him but he must get some sustenance as he keeps trying anyway. This morning I watched as a male duck calmly swam toward two other ducks that were of a different breed.  When he got almost about 10 feet from them, he calmly turned and started swimming the other way.  All of a sudden, he spread his wings and flew off in the opposite direction.  My thought at seeing all of that reminded me that he may have been the scout sent out to seek if the other two ducks were willing to join him and his group. “NEVER THE TWAIN SHALL MEET”

I think I have Spring fever.  It is so nice and sunny outside that I sat at my window and watched the birds eat from the ground some seed that they would not eat from the feeder.  The store had some bird food on sale and on a whim, I bought some even though it was a different brand and from a different store.  I put it in my feeders but the birds would not eat it.  It sat there for three days so I finally threw it on the ground in a clove of trees where it has sat for a week and a half.  I had not noticed any birds there but I really had not spent any time looking there until this morning.  The blue jays really like it as well as some other birds.  Did it have to ripen? To my human mind, it would have been better and fresher right from the bag but that is my human mind. I am pleased that the birds are enjoying it but confused at the same time.  I know turkeys like the corn and that is why I threw it there but no turkeys showed up.

The mallard ducks, all 16 of them, are so enjoying the water after such a freezing winter.  It is so great to watch them as they chase each other around and while they are finally able to bathe in the water and flipping all of it through their feathers. They are so happy that they can be free of the constriction of earth life.  We did not have much snow but it was cold enough for the lake to freeze over even if it did not freeze enough for the ice fishermen, they only got to out on it twice this winter. The patterns that the ice makes as it melts constantly change.  We do not have any floating ice yet but it is coming.  Right now, the ducks enjoy following the paths of flowing water through the ice.

AS I listened to Lee Harris this morning, I gave myself permission to just lounge around and enjoy what this beautiful morning had to show me.  Try it, you will like it.(even if I feel a little lazy).

There is more good news about our oceans and the waters on Earth.  The fish are back which is a fantastic sign that Earth is recovering (albeit, slowly) from the ignorance of humanity.

Did you watch the impeachment trial?  I did not because of all of the negativity surrounding everyone.  I did not get to hear the prayer that was invoked before the trial and I am so grateful that Patricia Diane Cota Robles has given me another opportunity to hear it.  It is magnificent without taking sides.  Join with me and add your loving energy to create a HUGE ball of Love Energy to our country and to our Earth.  It does not matter when you listen to this, you will be added to all those who Love this planet and her people.

This is such an incredible example of “never the twain shall meet”.  Two different beings helping each other whereas it was never thought to be possible. If this is possible between two different species, there is hope for our one species, humans.
