BREAKING NEWS

I believe this is the latest I have ever sent out my newsletter.  This day has had many surprises that have kept me out of the house starting with early this morning.  I had an early doctor’s appointment which I had not expected but everything is fine or at least they have taken the tests that will prove it. I had to stop at grocery store to get foods that follow the BRAT diet.    Then I needed to deliver my youngest granddaughters’ birthday gift and visit for a while. Then I was expected to stop at my bank and do some banking that was supposed to be done earlier in the week. Then I needed to stop at a garage to see if he could fix my tire that has a slow leak which he could if I came back in an hour.  I finally got back home around 5:00pm and made a tough decision. I could get busy at this newsletter or do something I have been craving to do all winter.

I know you will forgive me but I went kayaking.  I have been closely watching the water, wind and the temperature and finally we had a warm day with the wind and water being calm.  You have to grab these opportunities when they appear.  It was so wonderful to get back in the water again even if it was in a kayak.  The last time an opportunity showed up for me was on February 21, 2018 and my kayak had not been released from its winter bondage.  You don’t expect that in February just like we don’t expect and Winter Storm Warning for tomorrow night and Sunday.  Mother Nature has a mind of her own and she does keep us guessing.  This weekend she is even confounding the weather man as it is supposed to go to 70 tomorrow and suddenly there will be crash down to 35????

I am not as sharp at this time of the day which is why I like to do this newsletter in the morning but this article really gave me an awareness that I did not have before reading it. I hope it does the same for you.

This video is quite thought provoking also.  I will warn you that it is lengthier than most videos but it also gave me a lot of food for thought.  WE are the instruments that are bringing the Christ to the Planet Earth but many of us are not aware of it.  Each one of us is so valuable and irreplaceable.

Breaking Good News which will affect almost every family on Earth.  There is not a family that is left untouched or unscathed from this devastating disease.

Our youth are doing what we could not do.  It is so great to see the advancing young ones who will create or perhaps I should say renew our Beloved Planet Earth.

Good news in miracle making.  Don’t give up.  What an example this is for all of us to remember when we feel like quitting.

QUESTIONS HAVE ANSWERS

I don’t know if you know about my journey with my knee.  I tore the meniscus in it 15 years ago, had the arthroscopic surgery but still have been in pain.  Arthritis and bone on bone has set in and gradually I have been losing my freedom to walk or stand as much as I would prefer to.  I cannot have knee replacement because I can’t take pain killers or anti-biotics. Recently I listened two hours a day to an episode on stem cell research.  My hopes have been raised and I have been doing some research of my own to find a practitioner in the US rather than leaving the country which is what many have been doing.  The stem cell procedure is varied depending upon your need and also how much you wish to pay as our insurance companies do not pay for any of this.

I am excited, eager and yet have some trepidation about all of this.  I called one company and spent last weekend filling out the endless questionnaire to give background to my medical circumstance. I had to call them back and ask how I could fill it out on the computer so I could email it back to them. Guess what, I succeeded in doing so.  I was called and given two choices, two different prices and one was in NY City and the other here in Massachusetts. This morning I received a call from the doctor’s office and they have set me up to have a phone consult with the doctor next week.  All of this sounds simple but it requires me to make some decisions about which procedure to have done. There is a big difference in price.  Please say a prayer for me that I am able to surrender to my highest good in my heart brain and not let my mind succumb to fear of the unknown.

For years, since the first rocket went to the moon, I have been asking the same question over and over again but not able to find the answer.  It just didn’t make sense to me that we could send all these space crafts into orbit and then they travel for many years without a gas station around to refuel. This article answers my question to an extent and I know that some humans have had the answers all along but now they are letting it out to us, the public. This is just the beginning folks.A simple daily prayer by Patricia Diane Cota-Robles that can give you many moments of inner peace.

I asked myself this question and it raised a lot more questions in my myself until I could no longer question.  It led me to a place I had not been before and made me think differently about what was going on around me.

Can you imagine learning a new song in a different language in under an hour?  I don’t really know if I could do it but I certainly would be willing to try. Would you?  This is a great example of what we humans can do if we are willing to join with others who speak differently than we do. And….it was beautiful to listen to and “feel” the song even when I did not understand the words.

 

UNITY, PEACE AND INGENUITY

There is a light at the end of the tunnel…..and it is not a train.

I have two separate articles I would like to share with you that just remind me of the above saying.

The world is so charged up with anger, talk of war and also distrust in even themselves. Please check these out and KNOW that the LIGHT is here and shining bright. Our planet is small in comparison to all of the galaxies out there but it sure seems large when the media is so focused on politics and the economy that we are led to believe that all the countries on this planet are at odds.  Here is a  bright spot  and lets us think positive and see the whole planet agreeing to work TOGETHER in solving all the damage we have done to our home, our planet. It is possible and now there is proof that it is probable.

Our beliefs and our religions are finally respecting each other and agreeing to join together for the betterment of mankind which is you and me.

Praying for Creation

This September on the World Day of Prayer for Creation, Pope Francis and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew offered a moving joint statement:

The story of creation presents us with a panoramic view of the world. Scripture reveals that, “in the beginning,” God intended humanity to cooperate in the preservation and protection of the natural environment. . . . The earth was entrusted to us as a sublime gift and legacy, for which all of us share responsibility until, “in the end,” all things in heaven and on earth will be restored in Christ (Ephesians 1:10). Our human dignity and welfare are deeply connected to our care for the whole of creation.

However, “in the meantime,” the history of the world presents a very different context. It reveals a morally decaying scenario where our attitude and behavior towards creation obscures our calling as God’s co-operators. Our propensity to interrupt the world’s delicate and balanced ecosystems, our insatiable desire to manipulate and control the planet’s limited resources, and our greed for limitless profit in markets—all these have alienated us from the original purpose of creation. We no longer respect nature as a shared gift; instead, we regard it as a private possession. . . .

The consequences of this alternative worldview are tragic and lasting. The human environment and the natural environment are deteriorating together, and this deterioration of the planet weighs upon the most vulnerable of its people. The impact of climate change affects, first and foremost, those who live in poverty in every corner of the globe. Our obligation to use the earth’s goods responsibly implies the recognition of and respect for all people and all living creatures. The urgent call and challenge to care for creation are an invitation for all of humanity to work toward sustainable and integral development.

[We] offer thanks to the loving Creator for the noble gift of creation and . . . pledge commitment to its care and preservation for the sake of future generations. After all, we know that we labor in vain if the Lord is not by our side (Psalms 126-127), if prayer is not at the center of our reflection and celebration. Indeed, an objective of our prayer is to change the way we perceive the world in order to change the way we relate to the world.

We urgently appeal to those in positions of social and economic, as well as political and cultural, responsibility to hear the cry of the earth and to attend to the needs of the marginalized, but above all to respond to the plea of millions and support the consensus of the world for the healing of our wounded creation. We are convinced that there can be no sincere and enduring resolution to the challenge of the ecological crisis and climate change unless the response is concerted and collective, unless the responsibility is shared and accountable, unless we give priority to solidarity and service. [1]

Here is an  explanation of what is happening in our world and in words that you can understand.

Finally, a small and clear solar panel.  I am so happy as I have been waiting for the panel size to reduce, there is so much more that can be done with it.  I know it is not in production yet but the possibilities are endless.  Imagine not having to have your whole roof covered with those large ones.  Perhaps now we can get our energy through our windows.  And….these small ones will take less room on our land.  Can you think of theinventions that will come from this?

We here in the Northeast have had a touch of what it must be like to have a hurricane bearing down on your part of the planet.  We have had so much rain and the wind has been very strong but today the sun is shining bright even if it is a little chilly.  I would like to thank all the medical people and even strangers who come to our aid when we so desperately need them.  This is just an example of their dedication.
