FREEDOM IN ALL WAYS

I bet the makers of grape jelly experience this time of year as a “rush time”.  I love the Baltimore Orioles so I place two separate feeders out for them, one on each side of the house so I can watch them better.  They are here for such a short time.  When I first started to feed them, they came for the grape jelly even after their babies were born.  But the last two years they were feeding for only a couple weeks and then disappeared.  This year, I have an abundance of them and am hoping they stay longer so that I get to see and feed their babies.

The catbird is a frequent visitor at my feeders for the grape jelly also but this year I have another additional feeder.  The squirrel.  At first it would land full body on the feeder but after losing some fur to the stickiness that is on the hanger of the feeder, it just picks one of the closest of the four holders on the feeder and picks up a blob of jelly and sits back and enjoys it. So now, I don’t refill that holder after it is empty and fill the other three.  This year has a bounty of birds and squirrels but I have only seen one bunny. ???? I don’t need to feed the bunnies which are a blessing as I can just enjoy watching them.  I am going through a large jar of grape jelly a day with usually three fillings a day as the birds seem so ravenous.  The jelly companies must be prepared for this “rush” as it happens every year.

Have you ever imagined being hugged  by a turkey?  I did not think it was possible?

This article opened my eyes to a new interpretation of what is happening with Russia interference. It is apparently the way that they manage in a world that has more physical power than they.  It is very interesting even if you don’t agree.  Knowledge is power.

What a wonderful discovery.  I believe that humanity would do well to research what our ancestors knew all along. There is so much wisdom  in the simplicity of our past. I guess the concern of many woman who are not able to conceive or humanity vanishing has now been answered.

I was guided to open this talk and marveled at the wisdom of Nora Herold, Amplify your joy is the title but it is so much more.  It will answer a lot of your questions, even those questions you were not aware of.

YOUR LOVING ENERGY IS NEEDED

Today is May 1st and the flowers are beginning to appear. They so enlighten the atmosphere and bring us joy and promise of a friendlier climate. My grass is green now but there are bare spots where the piles of snow were. So yesterday I put grass seed down as today we are scheduled for rain. My heart goes out to beautiful California with its drought and no relief in sight. Predictions abound about the weather changes and have been around for quite a while but the changes seem to be happening quicker than ever. I, for one, do not seem to have the ability to change on a dime and that appears to be what is needed these days. There are many opportunities that come my way to practice being more in the present and let the future be whatever it is choosing to be. Can I blame my age for preferring to stay with the status quo? It is so much easier than having to make so many quick decisions. Even with the energy companies, I have had four proposals which all have changed in two days…not counting the opportunity for solar energy which could not offer me a substantial savings. I guess I am from the old school where even energy companies received respect and loyalty.

Nowadays, you just make a call and your energy company is switched. Last fall, my energy company doubled their price and although we had heard rumors, none of us believed they would actually do it. Well, they did and I felt deceived. How could I be loyal to them? It took two months to get changed to a new company. Although I have been calling to see what the new rate would be (it changes every 6 months) they could not tell me so I signed up again for six months with the present company. I found out yesterday that my original supplier is cheaper than the one I switched to so I transferred again back to my original supplier. Hopefully they will not double again this fall because if they do, I will transfer permanently. When I called to cancel my present supplier, I was told: “Oh, we have a new lower price”, which I was not told about when I again contracted with them two weeks ago. If I had not called to cancel with them. I would not have known about the new lower price. Although they were a little lower in price, I felt that they had not been honest with me so I cancelled anyway. “Buyer Beware “seems to be so prevalent these days giving us many opportunities to change our minds. I am so glad that my car mechanic who I have had for 25 years is still very dependable and honest. In fact, he does not take credit cards, only checks or cash and he has a booming business because of his honesty and integrity. Then I received another call today that a certain supplier was even lower than my original one. I am tired of switching back and forth, having to make decisions over and over again. My human brain is tired from all this exercise and I prefer to spend my time enjoying this life. Do you think it has anything to do with all the energy of the sun and the stars and also with these new times? I think so. Here is an article that explains it much better than I can.

I have been out in my kayak twice now and it is only the beginning. There are a few boats out there but more will be out in the future. Each month changes the lake. Right now, I can kayak out to all the edges of the lake as the water lilies are still dormant. When they are out, there are places that are too thick with them, although beautiful, make going through them quite a chore. Now, I can see the homes without all their summer toys out and it is much quieter. I enjoy all the differences because they all change back again. Kayaking is quite a metaphor to enjoy the present because it too will change.

My first hummingbird made his appearance a few days and I am now eagerly awaiting the Baltimore Orioles. The feeders are out but only half of them. When they, hummingbirds and orioles, are here in full force, I have feeders on both sides of my house. I believe I have a new visitor which I have never seen but his antics have led me to believe who it is. I have a huge feeder which suddenly was on the ground and along my fence one morning. The hook that I hang it on was down below the tree. My first thought was that it was a bear but another thistle feeder was still on the tree and a bear would have crushed my feeder. ???? I hung it back up and two mornings later it was back down again. I filled it to the brim thinking that perhaps the weight would keep whatever was taking it off would find it too heavy to lift. Two days later, it was down again. ????? Was some teenager having fun with me? So, I went to my local bird store and asked them what they thought it might be. They are positive it is a raccoon which is a nocturnal animal. It seems there mode of operation is to lift the hook from the tree, shake it and the feeder falls off, giving them access to the food. They suggested using an eye hook to screw into the tree and then use a gadget that holds keys that enables me to hang it up on this gadget. Each night I would take the feeder in at dusk and then put it out in the morning until my son could come and install it for me. Problem solved, it has been a week and the feeder has not come down. Life certainly gives us many opportunities to learn new things and depend on the abilities of others to help us. We are so fortunate to have each other.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL

Happy Mother’s Day! This is a special day for all females whether you have ever borne a child or not. You have the WOMB which I was told by Mother Mary, The Divine Feminine, is the same as the CHALICE. They both hold the Blood of Life. Without you and your female organ, humanity would cease to exist on Earth. See how important and valuable you are? Love yourself and as you do you will spread Love to all you see, touch and even think about. How about Mother Earth or Mother Nature? They are also mothers and they nurture us as we stumble around trying to find out who we are. You are who you are supposed to be. You are right where you are supposed to be. You are doing exactly what you came to Earth for. Honor yourself as God honored you by endowing you with the capacity to create life with the male so that you could propagate LOVE. LOVE is what this planet and humanity needs and that is why you were created female; that you may spread LOVE. Do you know anyone who does not see a baby and make a fool of themselves to make that baby smile, or coo, or just feel safe?

A baby asked God, ‘They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?’ God said, ‘Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.’

I am so excited as the Baltimore Orioles are here. They are my favorite bird and they are here for only 3 months to mate, have babies and then when the little ones are old enough, they all leave to fly north again. Just before I left for a seminar last Saturday, one appeared at my window and said:” I am here so where is my grape jelly?” So, of course, I got the feeders out and put grape jelly in them before I left for the day. There are so many this year and they are so beautiful; such vibrant orange whose vibrancy is being brought out by the black surrounding it. I have only seen one female and that was on the fly so I don’t know where the females are. Usually the males come first and create the nest and the females follow a little later. There is one junior upstart whose very presence chases away the older ones. He is so aggressive to them; he kicks them out all the time. He even eats aggressively. I am sure he will meet another one who will set him down a peg and then he will be fine. He is young and is feeling his oats.

My lawn has already been mowed three times and the trees are just beginning to bud. There is so much water from the rain and the melting snow that the grass is growing in leaps and bounds. When you live on a lake, there is no lack of moisture for the grass. Mother Nature does give us the beauty that we see all around us. Are you taking the time to enjoy what is outside? You have been cooped up for so many months, spend a few minutes inhaling and enjoying the clean and refreshing outdoor air. Then take minute to look around and marvel at the birth of all the flowers, insects and animals. You will feel loved if you do that. Watch this video and FEEL the love coming at you from everywhere.

This is the time of year that we start to move. We clean out our drawers, closets, garages and maybe even our desk. There seems to be much we want to accomplish. I know you think you have much to do, that it is difficult to find the time for yourself. Please watch this video and you will relax, take a breath and feel that ALL IS WELL. Mother’s Day is a day when most families get together to visit Mom. It is a day to be enjoyed and a day to be with family. Here is a video that will give you the courage to ask all to shut off their cell phones especially the young ones. They need to experience what it is like to actually talk and visit with their family without the interruption of the technology that nags them every minute. If they want technology, share the video with them and watch their attitude change.
