CHALLENGES & LAUGHTER

I just spent an hour and a half talking to Amazon.  Yes, talking!  It took me a while to find a phone number.  I had ordered a walker on 11/15 from Amazon and was sent a tracking number so I could keep track of its progress.  I got a couple of emails that it was on its way.  Finally I got an email saying they thought it might be lost so I could either get a refund or a replacement.  Since I already paid for it on my credit card, I did not want to have to pay twice for it sensing it would be a challenge to straighten that mess out.  I called UPS to find out what happened only to find out that they never received the walker so it was never sent.  Why was I getting all these emails of a late delivery from Amazon?  So I decided to call them this morning before I wrote my newsletter to you.

What happened next exceeded my expectation.  The young girl handling my problem kept excusing herself for a minute every time I had a question.  Well, I decided that I had a new trainee who was learning the ropes about customer service.  She was from another country and had a deep accent which made correspondence difficult.  I decided to be gracious and not demand to speak to a supervisor. I insisted on receiving an email confirming my refund and also the fact that I never received the package.  The first email gave me the refund but insisted that I return the package and how to do just that.  I kept repeating myself to her that I wanted confirmation of non-delivery and finally I got another email but this one just said they were sorry I had a problem with the walker (not the delivery).

After being on the phone with this young woman for an hour and a half, I finally gave in and asked to speak to her supervisor.  More wait time on hold.  Finally I got to speak to Joe who listened and suggested I reorder and when I persisted for more info, he admitted they had no more of that color.  I insisted that I did not want another color so please could I have an email confirming non delivery.  He said he would send it to me but I insisted that I receive it while I still had him on the phone.  He sent the email finally and then apologized for the long phone call and explained that she was a new trainee.  I had already figured that out and my ordeal is an example of the difficulties of two people who speak a different language.  I was wrung out emotionally from that so that is why this newsletter is a little later than normal.  This following video from Aluna clarifies why we humans are going through scenes like this that bring us these challenges.

This is a story and a video that I have watched it 5 times; it is that funny and that good.  You cannot help but  laugh  and this is just what I need now. Perhaps it will help you too.

Tis the season to be kinder to each other.  This woman goes to the top of being kind.  Perhaps this story might help each of us be aware of being neighborly and patient when we get stuck in the airport.

Do you believe in miracles?  I do and I am eager to see this be a natural event for all of us that need it.

THANKSGIVING – GIVING THANKS

What a play on words this is.  A truth displayed for ALL to see and hear. I give thanks for you; I honor you for the opportunity that you give me to be myself. Without you, I would not be the transmitter of GOOD NEWS which in turn allows me to be the instrument of a Higher Power.

Even the numbers are in resonance with TRUTH.  The signs are everywhere and Mother Earth is using all her methods of communication to speak to you.  Let’s take a moment to absorb the Love that is shining through every available portal opening at this time.

Let us be in the attitude of gratitude. What is the attitude of gratitude?  How can we feel it even amidst the pain we might be feeling?

What mother would not do what this woman did?  You would do the same thing if you were physically in this situation, you would offer love to the child and to the mother who was hurting for her child. Mother Earth  would do the same thing for you if she was allowed.

And….it is not only adults feeding children; it is the children feeding each other.  It is simply one human being helping another human being at this particular moment in time.  We have all done this at one time even if we have forgotten.  It is one human being helping another human being while sharing the same planet as our home.

This article reminds me of the lowly Turkey vulture who is so ugly with his bald head but oh so grandiose in the sky as he soars majestically. His head needs to be bald as he is the garbage collector who keeps our Earth free of all the dead carcasses. We cannot judge a book by his cover nor should we.  WE (which is you) are so badly needed to be just who we are.

SURPRISES EVERYWHERE

For the last two months, I have been guided to add to my morning meditation a thought that felt really weird to me.  I felt like I was speaking sacrilege language yet my inner spirit was urging me to include this is my daily ritual.  The words were: I AM IN THE CHRIST LIGHT, I AM THE CHRIST, I AM.  It took some time before I got comfortable in stating those phrases as I toned to bring in the Light.  Today, I received confirmation of why I was guided to that even if I was uncomfortable, even if I felt unworthy to state those words.  See what you feel when you read Judith Coates’, Bubbles in Infinity.

Kari Samuels explains that we are in a Mercury Retrograde but with a different perspective of what that means. For the last 6 weeks we have been in Venus retrograde which I was never aware of but as I read what that meant, I realized that the last 6 weeks have been exactly as Venus’ predicted. Would you like to see the leaders of our country and other countries as a regular human being?  This would be a good thing to have to go back to when we ordinary humans are frustrated with the way their power is used. I was amazed at how realistic these drawings are.

Do you believe in miracles?  I do and yet I still get despondent when conditions still remain the same for me.  How can I believe so deeply and yet deny the fact by my immediate feelings at the same time? This   true story  is like the star that guided the Magi.  I I will reread it every time I have doubt.

I have an appointment with a Stem Cell Institute in January that I believe will be the last hurrah for me. It is not covered by insurance but Quality of Life is extremely important. I have finally decided to buy myself a Walkabout Rollator so that I will have a seat readily available to me.  It hurts to walk but it also hurts to stand so I avoid talking to people if there are no available seats around.  Sooooo, I finally decided to buy one after I saw a woman with a “Lavender” one.  It seemed to be calling to me and I realize that I will have more freedom of expression if I have this that I can fold and always have it  in my car so I will feel freer to talk to people and freer to be with people anywhere.

I think most of you know that I love purple and am even called The Purple Lady.  That color, especially lavender, brings warmth to my heart.  It uplifts my spirit and I feel happier when I see it.  You will never guess this one as I was completely surprised when I saw this article on the “Purple Bacteria”.  It will blow your mind. Who would have guessed that we would ever discover a “Purple Bacteria” that is beneficial to us and I bet you will never guess where it is found.  I will leave you in  suspense  because all you need to do is read about it and you will discover the most amazing place where it grows and amazingly what it does..
