WHAT IS AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW?

Boy, am I late or what? My son called me this morning; in fact he woke me up because I had gone back to bed. He said he could come this morning to fix my dryer which was no longer vented to the outdoors. I thought I could get my RAV4 all loaded for the set up this weekend before he got here. Since I need to take my scooter along with all my set up equipment, I needed to pack it differently than I did in other years. Since I need my scooter to go get help to unload my car and bring it all to my booth, I needed to have it ready to unload first. My son, Steve surprised me as I was coming out of the house with one of my wheeled crates. I really am so glad he was here as he could give me suggestions on how to get it all in the car and, of course, he could help me load it.

I made coffee (our tradition) while he was trying to attach the flexible hose to the dryer and to the vent. Finally, he had to go to a hardware store to get some new hose so that took a while. Our favorite gluten free restaurant was closed as they were all celebrating the wedding of their daughter and sister and I knew he was really hungry so I cooked some food for us. We ate when he got back and he got the dryer all hooked up. I won’t have all that steam coming into my house anymore. Hooray. When he left, I had to leave to go set up for the Expo and now that I am back, I can talk to you.

My knee is doing a lot better and I am in less pain now than I have been in a long time. John of God is still working on me and I am grateful but I can’t walk far as it gets the inflammation going so I am still using the scooter for now. The Natural Living Expo in Marlborough, Ma this weekend is being held at the Best Western Royal Plaza Trade Center. If you have ever been to the Expo, you know just how large that room is. I am at booth 11 which is quite a walk from the front of the building and the Ladies’ Room is quite far also so I will need the scooter while I am there. The people were so helpful and came out to my car and loaded it all on a dolly and brought it to my booth. I cannot pull the wheeled crates and still ride my scooter. I am grinning as I try to picture that scenario. I hope you can make the Expo as there is more than you can see in even one day.

On my way there, a beautiful rainbow appeared and it seemed to end right where the Expo is. I believe that was a message to me, telling me that we will be at the end of the rainbow. All is Well, even if I have to scale down what I bring. I am getting many AHA moments and teaching moments as I release my perceived habit of always being prepared and bringing more than what I really need. I am being forced to partly surrender to asking for help and that is a lifelong lesson for me. As long as I have a table, I can just be who I am and that is enough. As I was trying to decide which links to send you, I came across this one that speaks about the rainbow. I believe the rainbow I saw was for you also so see what you think about this perspective, it warmed my heart.

11:11 THE GATEWAY OF THE ARCHANGELS

Hot off the Press. I just received this in an email this morning. There is such information in the whole email that it is difficult to have to pick and choose. This one is the most imminent concerning 11-11 which is next Wednesday. This is an opportunity for the whole collective of humanity and the more the merrier. Please add your consciousness to this day and focus on THE GATEWAY OF THE ARCHANGELS ON 11-11.

I know it is unusual for me to begin with a link but I feel the importance of the message and the opportunity for you to choose to participate. I will set aside time, perhaps pockets of time on that day to immerse myself in the meaning of this day. I believe in miracles, do you? We will receive what we focus on and it is only one day among the rest of your life that will benefit you and your loved ones. This is one thing we have been called to do as humans because only HUMANS can accomplish this.

My weather has been so beautiful the last two weeks and the weathermen are predicting another week of warm weather, in the 60’s and 70’s. For October and November, this is a real treat. Considering that only 4 years ago we had a huge snow storm on Halloween, I am savoring this time. Most of the boats are now moored on dry land although there are still a few diehards out there. I am sure they are happy to still have their boats in the water so they can still enjoy the spring like feeling. There is a speed boat that has been going by almost daily and a couple of pontoon boats are still ambling by. The little juncos (birds) are back. They are migrants that come back north for the winter and they are ground feeders. They are so cute, small and cuddly looking with their white bellies and charcoal grey top. I have not seen any migrant ducks yet, the ones that dive for food under the water. Do they know something we do not?

I would like to warn you about something that happened to me this past Sunday. I was on my computer when all of a sudden a siren (shrill intermittent beeps) was coming from my speakers. It was hurting my ears so I shut my speakers off and noticed that I had two screens on my computer. One was ¾ of my screen (quite large) and there was a smaller white one imposed on top of that. The large one had error messages with numbers but I could not read the whole thing because he white one was on top of it. The white one told me NOT TO SHUT OFF MY COMPUTER BECAUSE MY SYSTEM WAS IN DANGER. I clicked the top arrow to turn it off but it came right back. There was no way I could get my system back unless I shut it down and I was warned not to. It said it was Microsoft and gave me a number to call and they would help. In this case, ignorance was not bliss. Since I did not know what this was or what to do, I called the number and was told by a Microsoft certified technician (as he called himself) that my computer was in jeopardy. He convinced me to let him into my computer and he set about proving to me that I had no firewall and that there were 128 messages from Microsoft beginning in November, 2014 that I had not received. It all seemed to be on the up and up “until” he told me he could help me and offered three separate packages that I could buy. “You are nothing but a salesman” I told him (no offense to sales people). He replied: “We are Microsoft Certified”. He could be certified but he certainly was not from Microsoft. I had believed he was from Microsoft and that was the only reason I trusted him. As I told him no way, static and interference came over the phone, another ploy. I would not hang up and finally he came back on the phone apologizing for the interference that had happened. I finally hung up and was sitting here wondering what to do when my younger son called and I told him what had happened.

He came over right away and called Microsoft for help. It seems they have been having a lot of complaints about this happening. I believe that shrill siren set my mind into a tizzy so it was not functioning on all burners. I take responsibility for being very vulnerable and I felt quite stupid for falling for this sham. My pride at not being conned certainly took a huge hit. I guess I pride myself at being smart enough to sense when I am being lied to because I am elder who has had a lot of experience with people like that. After each episode of being taken advantage of, I swore to myself that I would not let it happen again. But it did! My lack of computer savvy leaves me vulnerable but it also made realize even at a deeper level that we need each other to survive. It is OK to be vulnerable as it opens you to your innate knowledge and intuition. It also lets you be willing to accept help from someone that knows more about that subject than you do. My son and Microsoft was able to take away the virus that had been implanted on my computer and I am telling you so that you do not fall for this NEW system that has been developed to scam you. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER.

I know that the news is not mentioning the refugee crisis as often as it has been. Eckhart Tolle has a perspective on this that is eye opening.

CALM IN THE STORM

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

A lot of events have been showing up that used to send me into a tizzy. It is so wonderful to be able to keep my “cool” and handle the situations with a clear head and also a clear heart. My heartfelt belief is that we as a species have come through some turbulent times which challenged us so much that what is happening now is small in comparison. I don’t like to always look back at the past yet it has so much wisdom for us if we take the time to decipher what is happening in the moment with that hard-earned wisdom.

I was due a credit on my charge card and even though I check it item by item when I get the paper carrying all the charges, something guided me to check it out on line. To my surprise, I had (4) $100 charges that said Category: Telephone Service. I had recently purchased a new cell phone at Walmart’s so I assumed that was the error was. My deduction is that they had put incorrect data when I switched my minutes to the new one although it was still a Tracfone like my old one. I checked out the Description and it said: GTL *Inmate phone svc in Alabama. ?????

First I checked with my charge card company but they could offer me no explanation. I then called the 877 number on my bill and discovered much to my surprise that someone had used my credit card to give an inmate $400 worth of phone time. I was told it was more than likely someone who knew me because the charge was done electronically and the person would have to know my zip code, my security code, and my name as well as my credit card number. I still had the card in my possession and I wracked my brain to remember somewhere were the card was out of my sight but could come up with nothing. The person could not give me any more information and suggested that the only way to access who had made the charges was to call the police and file a credit card fraud charge.

I then called the police and they offered to send the State Police as we are a small town and do not have a full schedule of officers. I declined as it was not a serious offense enough to bring them in and asked for an officer from my local police. He came over and took all the information and said he would call me when he got the information I was looking for. I was not frightened but very curious; I wanted to know who it was and how they had gotten my info without my knowledge. The officer called me two days later and said that he would have to go to court and get a legal court order? Before the GTL could give him the info. Sooooo, I am now waiting to see what transpires next.

Of course, I then contacted my charge card company again and they canceled my credit card and credited me with the $400. It is time consuming to have to contact all the companies that I have used for years and now have to change the credit card number. It will certainly keep my awareness sharp as I need to remember to do that every time I pay them. During this day, I kept being amazed at how calm I was and how I did not feel like a victim. My breathing was regular even though every now and them, I would take a deep breath to bring myself back to the present moment during all these negotiations. Today I came across another deeper meaning of breathing. It really hits home and I have felt myself being more and more aware of my breathing and my trust in God. I hope this brings you peace of heart.
