DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?

There has been so much publicity about challenges ramping up for us to be aware of and let go of.  This week for me has been a doozy but I have survived and conquered.  I want to pass along a couple of tips to you in case you were not aware of them.  My house and car insurance come due at the beginning of November.  When I opened the bill, I immediately became very frustrated as the total had gone up another $100. I decided I was going to address this and researched and discovered that every year for the past 5 years, each policy cost $50 more each for a total of $100.

I fumed and sputtered and was going to call around to get new quotes but decided to call my insurance agent first. I did not know what she could do but I felt I owed her to talk to her first before I went with someone else.  To my surprise, she offered to check around different insurance companies and see what she could do.  I was not aware that she represented many insurance companies and was like a broker.  I guess I was still in the dark ages where insurance agents only represented or dealt with just one company.  To my surprise she was able to get me the same coverage for $225 cheaper on both for a total of $450. I wanted to let you know as you might not realize that your insurance agent is a broker and you might be able to get cheaper insurance with someone you are already familiar with.

I had an 18 month CD with my bank that was at 2.25% and I needed to renew it.  They offered me only .6% interest on the renewal and my first thought was that for that low interest, I would put it under my mattress first.  I checked around and got brochures from several banks and Credit Unions which were offering CD’s at 2%.  I went to my bank and told them that I was cashing in my CD and placing it with another banking institution and they offered to give me a rate of 1.99% to stay with them.  If I had not gotten the proof of what other institutions were offering and then showing them the proof, I would not have received their higher proposal.  Do not be afraid to ask for a higher return on your savings. So I will make a little more money by not remaining silent and just accepting what they offered me the first time.  Just a tip that you might be able to use.

OUR EYES ARE OPENED

I sincerely hope that this newsletter finds all of you safe and dry.  These hurricanes, storms and earthquakes are popping up all over this Earth.  Here, I got a lot of rain (what else is new this year) but no damage or power outages.  We have had so much rain that there are parts of my lawn that my mowers have not been able to mow certain spots because of the water.  Of course, you know I have the audacity to be right in the path of the water wanting to reach the lake.

In the past 3 weeks, I have caught and relocated 8 mice.  You read right,  8 of them.  I have no idea how they are getting in my home but they seem to be seeking shelter for some reason.  Tomorrow night might be the first frost of the season so you know what is coming.  My son, Steve, is coming over in an hour to check out around my house for holes or any other means of entry. One of them actually made me laugh.  I was so confident that I had gotten them all after 3 of them when suddenly; one scooted across my living room floor right in front of me watching TV.  When I was child, they would run under my bed at night as we lived in a barn while the front house was bring rented out. I am so glad I am not scared of them but I still do not like them being in my house.

With so many storms increasingly across our planet, I thought you might like to know more about some of the causes.  Knowledge is power and I believe in knowing all we can about any situation.

APPRECIATING HUMANITY

Oooh!  I am sitting here bathing in the sun as it comes in the window.  It feels so freeing after being locked up in the house all summer with the air conditioner.  Yesterday I opened my entire house as the temperature was 75 degrees so I did not have to worry about wasting my heat.  Yet, I needed to close it in an hour as I let in all the humidity too and it jumped from 45 to 71.  I love my dehumidifier as it allows me to tolerate the heat better and I don’t need to use the air conditioner most of the time. This has been my first year of having air conditioning which I was grateful for but I did not like being closed up in my house.  I reserve that for winter so I am enjoying being “able” to sit in the sun in my house without a health concern.  Quite the opposite, it lifts my spirits and makes me appreciate the life giving energy of the sun. Please take the time to take in a long beautiful breath of the fresh air that we are so blessed to have right now.  Join with me.

We humans are really testing the ability of the universe to keep our air clean and healthy for all of the life forms living on this planet. I, for one, need the freedom to be out in the air without any fear of pollution.  This new idea and invention offers humanity an easy and effortless way to have clean air.  I really hope it goes viral because it sounds simple but effective.

Perhaps we could put this invention in our cars or better yet, imagine this other new invention doing the same thing but at a faster speed.  There is hope and just knowing that there are ideas and inventions such as these, gives me a hugeconfidence jump in humanity.

Every time I hear of a cop dying because of a human mind that has gone into that terrible hell, I want to shout to the world about protecting our protectors.  It is uncalculatable of how many miracles exist because of these protectors.  Let’sstand up for them and say: enough is enough.

“WE” can do something as each of us do have the opportunity to either smile at a stranger, help in some way or simple send loving energy as we walk across this planet. Most of you are so “busy” that you don’t realize that YOU have the ability to spread light and love wherever you are.
