FUN WITH WATER

Last night was the annual kayak nighttime parade where the kayaks are adorned with lights and glitter and anything else the owner would like to use.  I could not do it this year but I COULD watch the activities from my bow window which gives me a good view of the beach and the water.  There were 12 kayaks with drivers of all ages and sexes.  It was fun to watch them all take off and then see the blinking and stationary lights go out across the lake with such a beautiful trail. This is an annual event created by one of the four mermaids that swim in the lake every morning and sometimes later in the day. Who says you can’t have fun with the simple things.

Since we are in the mind of enjoying water, here is some news that will make you smile and savor the humor of being human. Watch the video for more humor and enjoyment. We are something else. I hope this idea of a trash wheel goes viral. It would be fun to see the names that we come up with.

When I start to feel sorry for myself, I just take a look at this woman to inspire me. You have to see this to believe it.

I don’t know about you but I worry that I will not fulfill the reason for which I was born.  What that is, I am not sure any longer.  Aluna Joy is giving us a pep talk to let us know that we can’t push the awakening or ascension clock. It will happen when it is supposed to and all we need to do is “become wordless”.

UNUSUAL HAPPENINGS

I am sitting here pondering the extremes in our weather patterns this year.  Spring came about a month earlier than normal (which I was happy about). Summer begins in two days on Father’s Day and I am sitting in a 65 degree home.  Two weeks ago, we were dressed in shorts and tank tops and I have put my winter gear back on the last few days. I refuse to put on my heat so I am depending on the sun coming in the windows to warm me up a little. There are many parts of our country that are experiencing triple degree days.   We live in a varied experience from day to day and this year’s weather is one for the books. And……we have a new federal holiday which was announced  only two days before the celebration of it and too soon for the Post Office to be able to offer that holiday to its employees without upsetting the apple cart of mail delivery. THAT has never been done before.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! HAPPY SUMMER DAYS AND NIGHTS.

I am pleased that America has woken up to the fact that the aborigines tribes were actually already here when Columbus presumed to discover America.  They are truly the first Americans and now they are getting to claim that fact as well as their Sacred and monumental places of worship.

Do you know a person who is transgendered? I am the grandmother of a grandson who was my granddaughter and I know the pain that these people go through. When I saw this article written by a doctor, it was an eye opener. Here was information from a physician who understands what has happened to these beings. We need more like him.

I have read about quite a few life/death experiences but this one explained so much more than anyone else.  This man was dead for an hour and a half before coming back to life.  His story seems and feels more inclusive than any other I have known.  See what you think!

H.O.P.E.

Have you come through this unexpected heat wave with a smile? Mother Nature is certainly having fun being on her swing. I think it is a chance to practice being in the now moment.  It is all you have and it will change. It certainly was like living in Florida’s summer.

I have had an occasion to renew my HOPE. 17 days ago, I fell in my home and landed on my knees and wrists.  It is the first time I even realized that you can get bruises on your wrists. The pain in my knees was excruciating but I could stand and even walk a little so I did not think I broke anything. I did not go to the emergency room primarily because of the CoronaVirus. Two days later the pain was much worse so I went to my Primary Care and she ordered an MRI.  Thus began an adventure into the medical field. I could not get an MRI for 7 more days because the doctor or her people did not put STAT on my order. Finally 3 days after the MRI, I finally got a result from my doctor and she said that it was a fractured tibia and possibly a torn meniscus. A wonderful orthopedic doctor, Dr. Burns squeezed me in but could not see me for another 6 days.

All of this time, I was losing hope in getting better.  I tried not to think of not walking ever again or needing a wheelchair for the rest of my life. My advice I am trying to give you is to go to the emergency room as they get you diagnosed and fixed right away. I wish I had, it would have saved me a long two weeks of ignorance and pain. But…I have my hope back again. I have a hairline fracture of my tibia but NO torn meniscus.  The doctor said it would take 6 weeks to heal and I have gone through the worst of it so there is no need to cast it and he will take an x-ray in 4 weeks.

This seems to be a week for hope and signs of it are popping up everywhere. Lee Harris has a great video for us on Rebirth and creating joy.

I had no idea that our country is doing so well in cutting down the number of jails and repurposing them.  There is HOPE

My mom had dementia so this really hits home for me.  She had forgotten my name but whenever she was asked who I was, she would reply: ”That’s my daughter”. This is an amazing story.

Let’s not forget the animal kingdom.  Even they have angels watching over them.

I will end with a hilarious solution to juggling too many things at once.
