A VERY DIFFERENT NEWSLETTER

With all the craziness going on, my heart and mind are in turmoil. Perhaps it is the full moon or the Summer Solstice or perhaps it is the news that I cannot get away from. My heart is being called to speak out because the atrocities are bigger than I can handle. In my Spirit, I know we are all ONE but this is a time where I am struggling to see the best in those who govern us, those who we have given our power to. I refuse to let my voice be silent while those I have given power to run ram shod over the people who put them in power yet feel powerless. There are so many more of us than them, why are we not making sure our voices and opinions count. My sense of fairness is being challenged big time by our voting system.

The sit in of the democratic senators of sooo many hours trying to solve the gun problem and the death of so many people, some whom you know and love was after I received this message. Both events deserve our vote so we, as a people, can make our voice heard to those in the House who refuse to care about the ordinary citizens of this country and all around the world. Let us be the Light and the Way shower for others who do not have a voice. Please consider signing this petition and make our choice unmistakable to those who we have given power to.

Have you signed the petition or made your voice heard in any way?

I do not like sending out such videos because I believe in seeing the best in everyone. I applaud Senator Elizabeth Warren for her courage. I am sure that Donald Trump has a good side but his thinking of solutions is askew. We cannot and would not take away his freedom of speech but in no way can we allow ourselves to give away our freedom of speech. We already have those in power who only think of themselves and their pocket book rather than the good of the people and this country. WE, as a people, need to stand up for what is good and what is fair. Isn’t that what our country stands for? One thing I thank Donald Trump for is for being the catalyst for us to see the truth in politics and where our hard earned income is going. We DO have a voice, isn’t it about time we use it? When billionaires only try to scam the hard working populace, it is time to stand up and say NO! Regardless of what party or what others believe, go into your heart and find the answer for yourself and your family.

JOY OF FULL MOON AND SUMMER SOLSTICE

We have a lot of special days that are reeking with wonderful energy and possibilities. There is the Solstice Full Moon which precedes the Solstice and the first day of summer. Hoorah. The flowers are everywhere and their fragrance is in the air. The sun sets later and we are having fantastic sunsets, Mother Nature is still the best artist there is and my heart fills with the beauty and the variety that she presents to us. It is this time of the year that I make myself sit and just bask in the ever changing forms and colors that make up the sunset. Actually, the beauty comes more after the sun is set as that is when the colors start and the clouds in all their diversity are framed in ways that no human could conceive.

Yesterday, I returned six unopened jars of grape jelly to the store with a vengeance set in frustration. There is no point in filling up the Baltimore Oriole feeders as the squirrels are emptying them faster than the birds. The Orioles are nesting now so I only see them occasionally. After trying every solution to deter the squirrels, I finally conceded surrender. I have not had this problem before but there are 3 baby squirrels who are fearless and no matter how many times they land on the ground they keep coming back. I did not mind going out three times a day to fill them for the first three weeks the Orioles were here as they are the reason I do this anyway. It was so much fun to watch them. Now there is not as much reason to look as often out the window yet the hummingbirds are still here and the golden finches as well as the other birds that eat regular bird food: they stay at the feeders longer so I get to see them more. I am blessed not to be affected by the predrought conditions, in fact, it is much better for me and for my lawn. Being right next to the lake, there is always plenty of moisture for my lawn and most springs, my lawn is difficult to mow because of the wetness. I am very grateful that there are no alligators in my lake.

Let’s take the time to celebrate what we all do share with others on the planet…our humanity. In this nice weather our hopes arise as we look forward to vacations and family gatherings. This is the time.

My heart goes out to the family of that child that was attacked by the alligator. It is not the parents’ fault and they should not be judged. I heard a lot of people say that the parents should have known better because there are alligators in every pond or water in Florida. I know that vacationers or most people who do not live in Florida are not aware that you never go near water in that state because there is likely to be an alligator in it. How could you not feel safe in Disney World? It is for the child in every person who goes there. Let’s not place blame on the family but balm for their sorrows.

Can we take a moment to send loving energy to ALL humanity that has suffered abuse on this planet? ………..

Every one of us can do something for the downtrodden as is evidenced in this video. Can you feel humanity coming together to help one another? I can, I feel it in my heart and there is so much more evidence and so many stories that confirm that it is a huge growing trend. We humans are finally waking up and reaching out to others. After all, we are one species on one planet. Doesn’t that make us a family of sorts? Family members stick together and when one is showing signs of dealing with emotions that overwhelm them, we all do what we can to ease the pain even when they do not appear lovable.

I tend to focus on stories that wake up my heart with joy. I prefer these to the sometime negative thoughts that run in my mind. If I am in joy then that is what I can share with the world. Here’s a good one.

ARE YOU THE LIGHT?

Yesterday was like being in the middle of a hurricane but without the rain. The winds were so bad that trees were coming down, there were white caps on the lake and the chairs on the beach were being thrown about. The birds were having a time of it too. It was an eerie feeling to have the sun out and shining while the winds just raged around. This is definitely a different year for the seasons. I finally asked my son to put in my screens (it is tough for me to ask for help) last week when it was in the high 80’s and this week it feels like winter is on the way. I refuse to put my heat back on though so I put on my winter clothes in the house. Like I said, it feels weird as we humans like to be able to plan and have dependable outcomes especially with the weather. Well, I am being asked if I am going south again this coming winter because I brought all the cold with me to South Carolina and sent the warmth back here to Massachusetts in its place. Everyone wants a winter like they had last winter. I am making no definite plans as the Earth is experiencing so many changes and so is humanity. I will not complain about my weather here as many other states are either in drought or floods. It is just awesome to watch Mother Nature who seems to have put on new clothing.

Many years ago, like about 40, my body was reacting in unusual ways to many foods. Even the doctors were puzzled. I finally paid for a test that my insurance would not cover only to discover that I had MCS, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. I reacted to the many chemicals that were inserted into the food stream as well as all the chemicals that were inserted in air fresheners, cleaning supplies, clothing, even cars and including personal creams and lotions. With so many, I was blessed to discover muscle testing, kinesiology. I was now able to test everything from soup to nuts, including the air quality (when I remembered to check).

The reason I am telling you this is because I discovered years ago that the only chicken I could eat was Perdue. It did not have an organic label on it but my body would still accept it with no repercussions. I tested all the chickens in the grocery stores including the organic ones but it always came back that only Perdue was good for me. I had no idea why but I accepted it even if others thought me to be a little strange. To my surprise this week, I have found out why. We have no idea what the food industry is putting in our food and here is a perfect example. I want you to know that you can feed you and your family the cleanest chicken and also support the way Perdue has stuck to its beliefs all these years. I also urge you to have faith in your own guidance, you and your body do know better, listen to your body.
