SURRENDER AND BE

The lake is still frozen but thawing on the edges. Two Canadian geese showed up squawking to beat the band. They stayed only five minutes and just flew away. I got the sense they were saying: “We are back, here we are!” All the melting snow is flowing down my driveway going towards the lake and flooding my sidewalk on its way. I keep thinking about California and so wish I could send them the extra water that I have here. It has been a week of ups and downs. Challenges, struggles and some awesome changes happening that were not expected. This winter with its Winds of Change has made me do a lot of thinking about my own life.

I have a knee that is bone on bone and quite painful to walk very far. Because of my chemical sensitivities, arthritis and bone condition, several doctors have said I am not a good candidate for a knee replacement. I have tried two hinged braces, one pull and one push but they caused severe back pain. Soooo, I have been restricted more than I would like so I have decided to take matters into my own hands. I started looking into scooters because I am not ready for a wheelchair yet. In fact, I think all of this is only temporary because I “know” and “feel” that some solution will show up if I am just patient hold the vision of mobility in my mind and heart. I am on Medicare which I thought would cover the cost of the scooter. I found out after many calls to many places that Medicare only covers the mobility chair for use inside the home. So, I finally surrendered in my mind and started searching for cheaper priced scooters.

I was grocery shopping this week when I came across a woman in a scooter. I stopped to talk to her because I believe word of mouth or good advice come from other people. She had gotten hers at Walgreens about 5 years ago and she was able to explain a lot to me. As we were going to part, I realized that she was dressed all in purple. What a coincidence, a purple lady talking to a purple lady. It made me smile. I came home and did research on the computer and talked to someone at Walgreens. The young lady did not seem to know too much about the scooters as they are available only on line. She passed me on to the manager who coincidentally had been asked by his father that day to check into the scooters for him. Coincidence? He is checking into getting a wheeled platform to hook onto the car which is something I had been searching for. Another unexpected contact who will assist me in this quest.

The following day, a black spider the size of a quarter was ambling down my hallway. Spiders were my greatest fear years ago, but I used spiders as the first fear I needed to conquer which I did. I shut my bedroom door but I allowed him/her to just be. In fact, they are a symbol of abundance, prosperity and money so I mentally thanked it for showing up and seeing its size, I thanked it for the large amount of money it would bring me. I went to my Pitch League banquet later and was surprised with a money prize for winning the most games in our season. It was a whopping $294 which I had never expected but now would help pay for the scooter.

This morning, as I was doing my morning meditation and prayers, a woodpecker began drumming on my house. I acknowledge him/her and after 5 times of being interrupted, I thanked the woodpecker and said I got the message. Afterwards, I checked in the Animal-Speak book by Ted Andrews for the meaning of the woodpecker. Its keynote: The Power of Rhythm and Discrimination. It reflects stimulation and wakening of new mental faculties Rhythm is a powerful means of affecting the physical energies. (I have a drum; maybe it is time to start drumming again). It will become increasingly important for you to follow your own unique rhythms and flight. When woodpecker comes into your life, it indicates that the foundation is there. It is now safe to follow your own rhythms. Wow!!! This message is for you also.

As I was preparing to begin this newsletter, I received a call. It was from a branch of Lincare, the only supplier of scooters and motorized chairs covered by Medicare. Her name was Penny and you know what pennies mean don’t you. When you find a penny on the ground, pick it up. It is a message from the angels and the pennies carry the reminder of: “In God We Trust!” She said she had left me 3 messages which I did not receive but I had been trying to find someone who could help me navigate the route to Medicare. I thanked her for being persistent because I had no idea that help was trying to find me. They have to set up appointments with your doctors who have to fill out certain forms. We had a 3way call to set up the apt and then she will fax them all the paperwork. I guess my new path has been opened for me. All I have to do is follow the breadcrumbs trail that is being laid out for me. Imagine all of these synchronicities happening in such a short time. I am open to receive all that is being done to help me. I am kind of chuckling because it is when I finally surrendered my need to be doing, my sense of having to solve a concern, that I allowed myself to accept the messages that coming to me. Remember to be aware and grateful for the little voice of guidance no matter what form it takes… a penny, a spider or a woodpecker.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Hooray! I can see the grass finally. Yes, it is quite muddy but it feels good to be able to see around the corners again without all those huge mountains of snow. The birds are singing again, the tips of the trees are colorful as the process of growth begins. I even heard Canadian geese again and the turkey vulture is hard at work cleaning up all the debris so our Spring will be clear and fresh. I can see the beach sand now and although the lake is still topped by ice, there are signs of melting. This rain we had really made the snow disappear quite quickly. I can now get all the salt on my car washed off. Spring is exciting to behold especially after such a brutal winter. I wonder if people down south get to fully appreciate the coming of Spring. I would like to personally find that out someday. I wonder if we humans take warmth for granted when the climate stays the same. I am still working at becoming a snowbird next winter, now is the time to reserve your place for 2016. This story speaks to my heart as this has happened to me also and I am now more aware of listening to my heart. And when I don’t, then I know it is just another opportunity for me to be aware of how my heart is prodding me to get my attention instead of relying only on my mind. I am so grateful that this particular time in humanity is finally here. It is definitely a lot more intriguing.

This is quite a metaphor for what we have all been doing these last years. We have been clearing the mountain that has kept us from feeling the freedom that was just on the other side. This man definitely listened to his heart and he is such an example for us.

I know that the news is carrying and repeating all the dire warnings and the horror of the war. Yet we have wars right here in the USA. How many of our children are being killed or are doing the killing. This is a war of humanity against itself. It is an energy of kill or be killed. Does it feel to you that it is in the “thinking” that this energy exists? We are one species on one planet and we annihilating each other just because we have different thoughts. But it is exactly those different thoughts that have evolved humanity to where it is now. Every day there is a new solution or invention that helps humanity with all of its so called woes. Let us respect each other’s opinions and acknowledge the differences by accepting the similarities and respecting the differences. We are all more alike than we are different. You and I can make a difference on this planet with the energy of LOVE and ACCEPTANCE. Let the HEART lead and not the mind. Here is an article that will set you diving deep into yourself.

A good example of how one country can help the whole world. The bees have been in peril for a while and now an invention that will help them and also us. Can you imagine what the bees have had to suffer just so we could have of its bounty? Man is incredible with his ability to create.

PISCES, PISCES, PISCES !!!!!!!

I am sitting here trying to allow my intuition to flow about what has happened and what is about to happen. This month has been a challenge in many ways for me; small subtle ones and big powerful ones. Last week I felt freedom to its max and this week I feel so vulnerable, both of which, of course, manifests in my world. Have you been on this seesaw also? It feels like I am on a roller coaster which is gearing up this long steep hill and I know the ride down is coming. Not a ride down into sadness but an exhilarating ride where I do not know which emotion I will be meeting right around the curve of this huge machine.

I am so grateful for those beings who share their knowledge with all of us. I know what I am feeling but my human mind would like to understand it also. My sense after reading the Spirit Library and other reports is that I am a Pisces and so I ma being more affected emotionally right now. In fact, I was born on the cusp on February 19 and today is the end of the Piscean Age and the beginning of the Aquarius age. I am letting go of all that I have become this lifetime and now am entering a brand new phase of who I AM.

Yesterday my oldest son and his son (my only grandson) came up to visit me, to show me once again how to use the new technology of my TV together with my computer. The technology of computers or phones really escapes me so I have just a cell phone that is a phone and not a camera or a computer. I get so lost in maneuvering in this cyber space that it is the thing that frustrates me the most. My younger son called with another drama story that happened to him and I had to tell him that I could not handle the violence or the energy associated with it. Then, of course, I felt so guilty in being so affected by an episode that happened to one of his neighbors that I could not offer him any solace. Between both the new technology, which sends me into a panic and the feelings that arose from family interactions, my center of peace had crumbled. In fact, my son and grandson took me to my favorite restaurant but I just could not eat. My stomach had too many knots in it.

This morning I have been gathering those videos and information that I have saved all week just for my newsletter and I am reduced to tears from all the “good” stories on Good News Network. There are so many I would like to share but I have to choose. I only wish our news media would share the true stories that warm the heart instead of repeating the violent ones over and over. That is why I subscribe to Good News Network because they send an email once a week with 10-12 true stories of real human stories that show humanity at its best instead of at its worst. I guess I am really vulnerable right now but I do believe that this too will pass and the new human is being born. Celebrate this day and love yourself for whatever you are feeling with all the energy that is coming to Earth.

Perhaps this is how we will react when we finally open our eyes and ears to the truth.
