ENERGIES OF THE MOMENT

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all the men.

The weather is still erratic and seeing how the weather affects us humans, are we acting erratic? I feel the energies as we all do but I know I released a lot of erratic energy in my dream last night. Or should I say the dream I had after I went back to bed this morning as the weather is grey and rainy and also chilly. Why are these dreams so vivid and usually so chaotic? Perhaps it is to release some tension that we are still feeling. I am grateful to my dreams and also my nighttime sleeping for giving me rest and more energy for the next day.

Would you like some inspiration? This story inspired me although I have no intention of running but I did buy a wetsuit so I can take some swimming lessons. The water is always cooler in the pools where they marathon swim or “teach” others to swim. I have always wanted to learn to swim after a childhood incident where the boys on the raft kept pushing me away from the ladder and I could not get up on the raft to rest. It was my first attempt at swimming the distance from the shore to the raft so I was a novice. I still have no idea how I got up on the raft but after that episode, I always felt I had to have my feet touching the ground while in the water. Here I am on a beautiful lake and I watch people swimming with such ease that I am envious. It looks so freeing just to glide on the water without fear. I have a day pass to the YMCA to test the temperature of the water in the teaching pool and they also have another pool which is a lot warmer but it is only 4’ deep so it is no good to learn. My body does not like cold water so I usually don’t go in the water until later in the summer. My intent is to be able to use the wetsuit for lessons and also to be able to enjoy the lake much earlier. ** I did try the wetsuit on and I did not get stuck in it, I was able to get it off**

I know a lot of us keep asking why there is so much turmoil in the world. Why is Mother Nature being so finicky and causing havoc around the whole planet. AS I was reading this article, I had a knowing that through all of these disasters, there are very few deaths. This is given to humanity as an opportunity to open their hearts as well as their homes to those who have lost so much while we sit in our homes being very comfortable. We, as a species, need to be able to give of ourselves and if no one needs us, then we forget to give freely from our hearts. These disasters are reminders to humanity what really matters.

My mom was in a nursing home for at least 10 years and I learned so much from her as well as those who took care of her. Without the elderly in the nursing homes, how would all those who care for her and the other patients have the opportunity to give of themselves for others? There would be no jobs or need for all the necessary equipment or services that are provided. It is NOT us that give to them; it is THEM that volunteer to stay on earth in service to us. While my mom was alive she made me feel vitally alive and useful as well as loved. Today, my children are all independent as well as my grandchildren and great grandchild. There is no one in my family that really needs me or what I have to offer. (Advice from the elders is not really asked for today and the times of today are always busy, busy, busy). Please know that I am not feeling sorry for myself because I am very grateful that I can be independent and being independent means that I am capable of finding other avenues for my loving energy to be used. I am soooo grateful for my health and vitality. I just became aware of why I am going down this train of thought today. A dear friend, the administrator of our Senior Center was hospitalized for two weeks and now has been accepted by Hospice. Here is a woman who devoted her life to serving all who came to the Senior Center and she will be leaving us for a better heavenly home in a few days or so. And…..she is younger than I am. Boy, does that hit home and make me even more aware of the privilege it is to do for others while they are still with us.

WHAT MORE DOES EARTH HAVE TO SHOW US?

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! This is the weekend that the lake comes fully alive. Yes, there have been some pontoon boats out on the lake already and one speed boat and a few kayaks (me, too). I had one beautiful day this week. When I get up in the morning, the water is usually so still that you can see the reflection in the water of all things. Usually, that calmness goes away quickly as the wind comes up and the day begins. This particular morning, the water was still calm after my prayers and meditation so I decided I would have a quickie breakfast and go out for a spin in my kayak. I had not done my exercise routine yet but decided to forego it for a trip around the lake. I always feel such a sigh of relief as I get into my kayak. It feels so freeing to be floating in the water (a kayak can sit in the water giving you the feeling of actually being IN the water rather than just on top).
After all the preparation, the water was still smooth. AS I went around the lake, I was noticing who has put their boats out, who has put out their ornaments on their decks or their furniture around the yard so they can sit and enjoy the water. As I went by the town beach, there were about 12 Canadian Geese on one end and a mother and father with 6 baby chicks (who were still yellow) on the other end. In a couple of days, they were on my beach and the chicks were a tan color.

There are still a lot of boats up on dry dock and many homes or cottages have not been prepared for the summer activity. After this weekend, most will be up and running and eagerly awaiting summertime and all of its activities. But for now, I am enjoying the pure bliss of the quiet and being alone on the lake. It is truly a meditation and I can be in my own world of nature. Even after I had gone all around the lake and was back on my own beach, I did not want to get out of the kayak so I allowed myself to just hang out and be blissful. Eventually, I came out and began planning on what I could do outside as the weather was still beautiful and the water was still smooth. I could hardly believe that the water was not rippling because that is a rarity. It turned out to be a day where the wind took a breather for the WHOLE day so I was able to get a lot of yard work done. To be truthful, I kept being drawn to go out on the water again because it was just so beautiful but my arm strength was being used to trim and pull the weeds and dandelions. When you live on the water, you still have a lot of work to do as you don’t just come here for a vacation without the responsibilities of it being your home.

Freedom is being alright with yourself and the world. A man named Michael Bernard Beckwith – The Rev is an inspiration for all of us, he takes me to the peaceful recognition of the magnificent life I have – no matter what appears to be happening. I am in awe of technology. There are so many things in this world that we are not aware of. Can you just imagine what is here and what is coming next? In my wildest dreams, I never conceived of all that I am seeing now. When I was child, we did not even have a telephone and the first TV I saw was in a store window where the owner would let us stay outside and watch and…..it was in black and white. It hardly seems possible what has been developed in my lifetime and what is yet to come. I need to stay young just so I can appreciate what humanity has to offer. Let us appreciate our freedom this weekend and what is yet to come for this magnificent planet. We are one species living on one planet, WE ARE ONE.

BLESSED ENERGIES

Today is Good Friday, I am sure you know that but I want to give you a different aspect of Good Friday. When I look at Jesus on the cross I have totally different feelings now than I had for so many years. It used to pain me to think of all the torture and ridicule he went through. My body would kind of cringe just looking at a crucifix and I finally could not wear a crucifix (a cross with Jesus’s body on it). I would wear a cross without the body as a symbol of the Ultimate Love that Mankind ever received.

Today, when I see a cross or even a crucifix, I am soooo grateful for the Love of God who allowed his Son to be birthed on Earth to show us the Way. We are all Children of God and we all volunteered to come to Earth and for one reason. To show the love that God has for us and to BE the LOVE that we all are (even if we have forgotten that piece). Humanity forgot who they really were so Jesus volunteered to come to Earth to prove with his own Love how to do it. It does not mean we need to be crucified; Jesus already did that for us so all we need do is to love ourselves. When you love yourself, you cannot but help to love everyone else. When you are full of love for yourself there is no room left for any other emotion. And….guess what? It is contagious! That is why everyone loves and smiles at children because they are pure love. The world has not put veils on their pure vision yet so all they see is love also.

Easter is my favorite Holyday even more than Christmas although I love Christmas. Easter is a reminder to me that I AM resurrected and ascended. A butterfly reminds me of this every time I see one. A caterpillar does not know he will be a butterfly just as a human does not really know who he/she will become. A caterpillar has to go through the dark night of the soul just as humans go through the dark night of the soul. The caterpillar becomes mush before the transition just as we become mush when we surrender to a greater Power in our selves. Then through a process that is still not understood today by the scientific community, the mush of the caterpillar becomes a butterfly that has to break through the cocoon, rest, dry the wings and then is able to soar (ascend). We humans go through the same process as we come to transform our thoughts and will so that we may soar with the angels. Humanity and our planet are in the Ascension process right now. We are pecking through the cocoon of the 3rd dimension and we see the light as we struggle to accept the 5th Dimension and all the abilities we will have to soar the heavens and have ultimate freedom which is the ability to LOVE ALL.

Easter is all about the ASCENSION. How Jesus died and arose from the depths. We also have arisen from the deep slumber of self-absorption to spreading the Love in our hearts to all. Soon there will be no need to give medals of Honor to the warriors who have shown the ultimate love by their willingness to save their comrades at all costs. There will be no more wars so there will be no need to sacrifice themselves. What kind of a warrior was Jesus who sacrificed himself for us? What kind of medal did he receive? At that time, he was scorned but look at all the Love he has received in these 2,000 years. He was the epitome of the ultimate sacrifice and he did it willingly so we would know LOVE WITH NO BOUNDS.

LET US SHOW THE TRUE LOVE THAT JESUS EXEMPLIFIED BY SHARING LOVE AND COMPASSION FOR EVERY PARTICLE OF LIFE EVOLVING ON THIS PRECIOUS PLANET!

Let us become like a child and this link will show you the simplicity of a child that is a perfect example of what Jesus meant when he said: “Let the children come to me. Become like children and you will inherit the Earth”.
