CALM IN THE STORM

A lot of events have been showing up that used to send me into a tizzy. It is so wonderful to be able to keep my “cool” and handle the situations with a clear head and also a clear heart. My heartfelt belief is that we as a species have come through some turbulent times which challenged us so much that what is happening now is small in comparison. I don’t like to always look back at the past yet it has so much wisdom for us if we take the time to decipher what is happening in the moment with that hard-earned wisdom.

I was due a credit on my charge card and even though I check it item by item when I get the paper carrying all the charges, something guided me to check it out on line. To my surprise, I had (4) $100 charges that said Category: Telephone Service. I had recently purchased a new cell phone at Walmart’s so I assumed that was the error was. My deduction is that they had put incorrect data when I switched my minutes to the new one although it was still a Tracfone like my old one. I checked out the Description and it said: GTL *Inmate phone svc in Alabama. ?????

First I checked with my charge card company but they could offer me no explanation. I then called the 877 number on my bill and discovered much to my surprise that someone had used my credit card to give an inmate $400 worth of phone time. I was told it was more than likely someone who knew me because the charge was done electronically and the person would have to know my zip code, my security code, and my name as well as my credit card number. I still had the card in my possession and I wracked my brain to remember somewhere were the card was out of my sight but could come up with nothing. The person could not give me any more information and suggested that the only way to access who had made the charges was to call the police and file a credit card fraud charge.

I then called the police and they offered to send the State Police as we are a small town and do not have a full schedule of officers. I declined as it was not a serious offense enough to bring them in and asked for an officer from my local police. He came over and took all the information and said he would call me when he got the information I was looking for. I was not frightened but very curious; I wanted to know who it was and how they had gotten my info without my knowledge. The officer called me two days later and said that he would have to go to court and get a legal court order? Before the GTL could give him the info. Sooooo, I am now waiting to see what transpires next.

Of course, I then contacted my charge card company again and they canceled my credit card and credited me with the $400. It is time consuming to have to contact all the companies that I have used for years and now have to change the credit card number. It will certainly keep my awareness sharp as I need to remember to do that every time I pay them. During this day, I kept being amazed at how calm I was and how I did not feel like a victim. My breathing was regular even though every now and them, I would take a deep breath to bring myself back to the present moment during all these negotiations. Today I came across another deeper meaning of breathing. It really hits home and I have felt myself being more and more aware of my breathing and my trust in God. I hope this brings you peace of heart.

HEED THE NEW ENERGIES

I realize the newsletter is going out later than usual. I had a morning doctor appointment in Timbuktu and when I finally arrived home the lake was calling my name. So…I went out on a kayak ride although I cut corners (coves) so I could get back sooner. Some homes have already been closed for the winter and some boats have been put up. This is the time of the year when I so appreciate the warm sun and warm days. Our nights, starting tonight will go down into the 40’s and the days will be more fall like. We have been having a mini drought so my electric bill was only $32 this month as the sub pump has had no need to run. Everything has its polarity and there are both sides to every coin. I am savoring all the best that summer had to offer and enjoying what is to come in the fall but I can’t say that for old man winter.

I have been laughing at Trump’s shenanigans. He is certainly stirring the pot and he is the poster child for all the frustration that Americans have been feeling. I certainly cannot see him negotiating with any of the other countries, he just cannot negotiate. Yet, I thank him for expressing our complete dissatisfaction with our government and its leaders. It does not matter which party you belong to, the apathy and frustration knows no bounds and I hope the people in this country give that message where it will do the most good, in the elections. What I would like most is to see all parties disappear where we would vote for the person, for the one who has our interests at heart and the big money cannot buy or touch their abilities to serve the office they were elected to.

Eckhart Tolle seems to express a way that we can reach our inner self or god self so that we make the best decisions. Whenever there is a quandary in you, try doing what he is speaking about. I bet you will be surprised.

Here is a being that I have not heard from in a while. Welcome back Nancy. She is a true model that it is okay to step back and take a breather. The world goes on and it may surprise you to know that there are many that won’t notice you were gone ….until you come back. Her message seems quite apropos for the time that is at hand. Next week is the Solstice and the Blood Moon and eclipses. Give yourself a break and allow yourself time to absorb the energies that are here only for us humans.

LOVE ON MOTHER’S DAY

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! To all who carry the Divine Feminine Energy. There are many ways to express that energy and single parents express it under the harshest of circumstances. That includes all the single fathers out there who need to be both Dad and Mom to their children. You deserve to be acknowledged on Mother’s Day too. We are quickly becoming balanced in our masculine and feminine energy so we are balanced human beings. There are many opportunities to let either of these traits emerge and I so want to honor all who put LOVE first. LOVE is the singular energy that carries the most strength and honor to our humanness.

For this newsletter I would like to showcase the stories and videos that exemplify the Love of the Divine Feminine. I think you will enjoy these and perhaps you can share these with those you love. I honor all of you readers, you are so very special to me. You give me the opportunity to share my human life with you. We are one species on one planet thus making us one family. Mothers come in many shapes and forms; it is their love that makes the difference. Let’s share our love with all other humans and also nature which is such an example for us.

This one says it all. The creator created all of this and it is so huge and awesome. It certainly makes me feel small aside of it but I know that I am just as important a creation of God as these huge massive creations. I wanted to start with this one because it sets the stage of what we can accomplish even though we are smaller in stature. As one family, we are just as massive.
