ARE YOU READY FOR POWER?

I want to apologize for all the extra copies of the newsletters. I realize it has not been much fun for you and it only crowds your already crowded email. I have been working diligently to find a solution and after surrendering to the possibility that I would have to stop sending the newsletters which I so enjoy creating for you, a solution seem to have appeared. I have finally found the way to use Mail Chimp as a go between. Being ignorant of many aspects of the computer, I am learning what the computer language means and how to maneuver myself within its corridors. Since this will be the first newsletter using this medium, I am not sure how the finished product will look. Any feedback you would like to give me would be greatly appreciated.

Surrendering to your Godself, Higher Power, Intuition, etc. is not the easiest thing to do. You believe you have surrendered already but why does one piece still remain? We are being given many opportunities to realize just where we are stuck. All we need do is be AWARE of those opportunities, then send love and gratitude for their service to us. We cannot forgive or surrender what we do not know is there. I know it is does not always FEEL good to feel those feelings but they are the way to your freedom… freedom to be who you are in your totality. You will still have the same quirks in your personality but as you love and accept them, it is quite OK to have them. It is accepting who you are with love and joy much as you feel that smile begin as you watch a child learning to navigate this world. This is a new world and we are infants as well as masters. Allow yourself to grin at the childish things you do and know that you are more than OK.

Wow! It has been a very interesting two weeks with all the powerful energy coming to us and our planet. I know I sent you more info about the Lion’s Gate than most other events but it is even more powerful than I ever expected. The effects are still being felt and will continue for some time. I feel so excited as I read this. A solution to a worldwide problem is right here, created by a young female and supported by a large community. Ladies, you do not need to give up your plastic bags. We do not need to be concerned about the island of plastic floating in our life giving ocean. And….this method will also help with our fuel costs. I see this mushrooming into even more solutions for our beautiful planet than they are aware of now. And….coming from the feminine, it is truly not just a symbol of power but is a symbol of male awareness that brilliant ideas come from the females and a youth at that.

8-8-8 MEANINGS & PURPOSE

Happy summer. I just got back from kayaking in my lake. It is a perfect day for it as the water is calmer and so are the winds. I do not kayak when it is windy or when there are a lot of speed boats or jet skis out there. I usually write my newsletter first and then go kayaking. Lately, by the time I have the time, the wind is up or the weekender people are out on the water. This morning even though I needed to make my yogurt first as it takes 10 hours to cook, when I was done the wind had still not come up so I “jumped” into my kayak for a journey around the lake. The water and the wind change depending on what end of the lake you are on. At one end, there are two coves that are as still as glass. So much so, that I can kayak through the clouds that are reflected on it. The other end of the lake usually has rougher waters and more wind. This morning I had the lake all to myself, not another boat to disrupt the peace of quiet or create waves. It is an adventure as well as a story book.

I cannot help but wonder about the people who were always using the lake when all of sudden, no boats are out at the docks and a few have not even put their docks out yet. There are more homes on the water for sale than I have ever seen before. Perhaps this is a sign of the economy. I know a few owners have passed away and it seems to be a long time before the legal system frees it up for anyone to buy. The beach right in front of my home is very quiet and perhaps when we are having a heat wave, more will come but mostly it is quiet. The ages of the children who used to play are now older and the young ones are not old enough to come alone and have to wait for an adult to bring them. Life on the lake is up and down just like life is. There are busy times and then there are quiet times. As the population ages, the scene changes again. I am ever so grateful to be here and able to partake in the gifts that being on the water bring.

This video gives you extra strength to cope with all the changes that are happening to you and your world. I do not usually watch many debates but I tuned in to the Republican Party debate last night. I had no idea that there were debates on at 5pm so I did not get to watch them. I wish I had because there was a woman who the channel said was definitely the winner of that first one. I have to confess that I watched only to be able to make up my own mind on Donald Trump and see what the others had to offer. Frankly, it was like watching young boys in a contest with some of them being downright rude to the others. It was obvious the ones that had dignity and were sure within themselves but the noise makers were the ones to get the most attention. I have watched debates before and each candidate was treated equally with the time. I guess being 10 candidates, the questions kept going to the same ones over and over again. It ended at 11pm but I could not relax enough to go to bed. I had to stay up another hour and a half just to be relaxed enough to go to sleep. The energy from that broadcast was filled with negativity although I know it was productive to see how each candidate handled himself. I like to make up my own mind by seeing it for myself as the news commentators sometime report a different aspect than what I get.

I want to leave you with a smile. Tom Cruise and Jimmy Fallon in sync battle is quite entertaining and will bring a smile to your face if not downright laughter. I am not up late enough in the evening to listen to the night shows but this one is great.

DON’T SELL YOURSELF SHORT

As I lay in bed yesterday morning, I was feeling apprehension. I was about to embark on a solo adventure where things could happen that I did not expect. I was feeling fear, not terrifying fear but a fear of the unknown. It sounds ominous doesn’t it? I knew that I did not have to go since I only made the commitment to myself and no one else would be affected. But something I have garnered from living these many years was that I would not let fear stop me. It was uncomfortable right now but I could do it, I could silence the feeling of fear I was feeling and feel the vulnerability. I could just let the eagerness of something new to be there. Since I have my scooter, it has led me to a freedom I have not known for 12 years but it has also led me into feelings of being childlike again. I have the anticipation of a child but as an adult, I know from experience what can happen when you launch out into brand new territory. How would I be able to handle unexpected terrain and bumps along the way? I have been eagerly looking forward to going to the Brimfield Antique show which encompasses a whole town full of booths and antiques. People come from all over the country either as a vendor or as a buyer. Thousands of people descend upon this small town where there are fields set up for all the tents and merchandise that has come from all over.

It is one thing to walk around and be able to look at everything that catches your eye. It is another thing to be on a small scooter which by its very size makes you lower in size than everything else around you. What a perspective it gives you. You feel like a child looking UP at all around you and trying to navigate around all these legs without bumping into them or having them bump into you. The people are so engrossed with looking that they don’t even see you because you are shorter. It requires a great deal of patience and waiting for the right opening to go either around them or through them. People keep apologizing to me for waiting for them to see that I am right there, waiting for them to move. I believe that this is an experience that has to felt because I was never truly aware of how people in wheelchairs or small people like children have to trust that they will not be run over. In larger wheelchairs, the person still needs patience but at least they are wider and higher so they are seen more readily.

Then….the ground under your scooter is another story. There are dirt paths, gravel paths and paths with much larger stones on it. Of course, there are paths made of grass also which turned out to be the easiest way for me to go. But….they intermingle so you never know when you are going to run into a path that has the larger gravel which turns your scooter into a cement mixer as it shakes and vibrates so much, you feel like you are in a mixer. I am chuckling as I think about it now and I did chuckle yesterday too. I had no choice but to go through the rough patches just to get back to the smoother ones. I know now the difference between the ride of an all-terrain vehicle and a bicycle. I lasted an hour and then I left because there was no way of knowing when or where you would be in rough ground. It was quite a learning experience and I now know to look for paved paths before planning an outing. Another benefit is my butt is sore like I have been exercising. It must have been all the bouncing around but I will still take that benefit. I got exercise without even knowing it. I am still looking forward to going to the Big E this fall where I know most of the roads are paved. I miss the baked potatoes in the Maine building and also the spun maple syrup. I am not giving up. What a ride back to childhood and vulnerability! My scooter was initiated and held up remarkably well.

I am sure that the ride to the 5th dimension will be equally as exciting but hopefully a lot smoother. This just came in from Patricia Cota- Robles and it is so eye opening and heart opening to know what we have been up without even being aware of it. This is something we can all participate even if we do not make the trip to Tucson.
