Merry, Merry Christmas! Happy Holy Days everyone! What a milestone Christmas this is. The lake is as calm as a mirror and it is reflecting all the trees and the houses in its image. The Hooded Mergansers, my favorite divers or dobblers as I call them, are still here. I don’t know if it is because their path to the south is hindered by all the bad weather other states are having or if it is because the weather here is so mild. I love it personally. I am grateful that all the travelers have better driving conditions and also flying conditions. Here in the Northeast at least. As I awoke to this very unusual Christmas and looked out at the lake, I thought, if I had not put my kayak away for the winter, I would be out in it right now. Who knew it would be like this, lets enjoy it while we can because we know that it will change. HANG ON YOU SKIERS, YOUR TIME WILL COME. It feels like spring and I have Spring Fever. I even wore a white jacket and white shoes to the midnight Mass last night. It felt right although I don’t usually wear white in the winter.

I know some of you are alone on this day and yet you are never alone. You have YOU. Why do we feel less than when we are alone on a holiday? There is a treasure in being still and being with just you at your own pace and you can even stay in your pajamas. Do you know yourself? Alone, you do not need to be someone you are not just to please friends or relatives. I see that being with family or being alone as both ends of the spectrum and there is a balance in that. We have all spent a holiday alone or with family and friends. Neither is better than the other, it is just an opportunity to have a different experience. Whatever you are experiencing is perfect for you at this time. Enjoy and be merry.

SOLSTICE DARKNESS AND CHRISTMAS LIGHT

Oh, the joys of owning a vehicle. I am thrilled that it has not snowed yet because it is making traveling easier. My mechanic is about 40 miles away from me but I have had him for 35 years and I trust him implicitly. We have had many journeys with my vehicles and he has always been there for me. We ladies need to be scrupulously careful about whom we believe when it comes to our cars because most of us do not know much about them. He does not do Inspection stickers so I need to go to someone else for that. One time I went to a garage for an inspection sticker and he said I needed some work done under the car (I can’t remember now what it was) and when I refused to let him do the repairs, he gave me a rejection sticker. I brought it to Teta’s Automotive in Chicopee, my mechanic. I asked him if I really needed that job done and he smiled and said I could have gone a while before it was necessary but since I had a rejection sticker, I had to have it done in order to get a new inspections sticker. Believe me, they were not happy to see me or vice versa, when I returned to get a new sticker. You have to bring it back to the station that rejected you!!! I have never returned to that station again.

Back to what I was saying before I got sidetracked. I took my car yesterday morning for its regular oil change and car rotation. Everything was fine but when I got on the highway to come home. The car would vibrate as if a tire was loose when I hit 63 MPH or above. I called and was told to bring it back this morning so they could check it and put the tires back the way they were. They re-rotated the tires at no charge and recommended a tire place to have a wheel alignment which I did. I was told that they needed balancing so we proceeded with that. He said everything looked fine afterwards but on the way home, on the highway again, the car started to shake more like before. I called the tire alignment place and he said to have Paul Teta drive it to see what he thought was the matter. I called Paul and he said since it wasn’t the tire rotation that caused it to begin with that he would have to drive the car to get some sense of what is happening. He warned me though that I might have to leave the car there for perhaps 2 days for it to be repaired as he knows I do not have any other transportation. He cannot take it for a ride until next Tuesday so I have a few days to find out where I can rent a car for two days. I love my vehicle; it is a 2004 Toyota Rav4 which has just gone over the 100,000 mile mark. I am REALLY grateful that there is no snow and I hope it will hold off until my car is repaired.

Episodes like this are reminders to me of how much I have to be grateful for and the people who take such good care of me. Here is a quote from Abraham that helps in frustrating times:

12-12- GATEWAY & PLEADIANS

I am sitting at the computer basked in the sunlight. I have a large piece of cardboard that I need to put up on my desk or I can’t see the computer screen. I only need to use it at certain times of the year and this is one of those times. The sun is coming up later in the morning, it is at a different angle and without the leaves on the tree, it shines right in. Yet I love sitting in the sunshine while I am at the computer. It changes the time of day that I sit here during the year. Life always changes and you go forward with the time enjoying whatever appears in the moment. There are dandelions on my lawn who have now turned white and are seeding the earth. The secret of youth is to always live in the moment which is fresh and new which keeps us fresh and renewed with energy.

If I had not beached my kayak for the winter, these warm days would be perfect for a jaunt onto the lake. I am enjoying not having the winter weather even if I cannot get out in the water. There is just something so special about not getting what you expect and yet, what you get is something better. Sorry skiers, but your time will come. I have not put my winter coat on yet, have you? Mother Nature loves to fool us and the weatherman. She keeps us on our toes as each day is a brand new day with a new twist that we had not expected. Life has been showing up in a whole new way for me these last few weeks. My past is catching up with me and training as well as unusual experiences are coming back into my life with a different twist. 20 years ago I trained in Tarot Card Reading and also became a Reiki Master. Today, that training has evolved into me being able to do readings without cards and also to surrender, move out of the way and allow Spirit to come through. At that time, the experience felt real and yet surreal.

The energies of this time are now allowing humanity to realize that there is actually life on the other planets that make up the Universe. Our brothers and sisters from out of space have been trying to contact us for eons and have finally succeeded. They are here to help us transform our planet into the Heaven that we all have been seeking. I am going to add two videos for you to watch if you choose to do so. Be open to what is being shared and feel free to respond in any way that speaks to your heart. It may take a while for this truth to become real for you so give yourself the gift of time and patience to absorb and see if it rings true for you. Look how long it has taken me to even be able to accept this idea. Know that you have authority over yourself and do not have to accept what someone else says. I like to remain open to ALL possibilities and know that with such a vast universe, we cannot be the only planet that has life.
