H.O.P.E.

Have you come through this unexpected heat wave with a smile? Mother Nature is certainly having fun being on her swing. I think it is a chance to practice being in the now moment.  It is all you have and it will change. It certainly was like living in Florida’s summer.

I have had an occasion to renew my HOPE. 17 days ago, I fell in my home and landed on my knees and wrists.  It is the first time I even realized that you can get bruises on your wrists. The pain in my knees was excruciating but I could stand and even walk a little so I did not think I broke anything. I did not go to the emergency room primarily because of the CoronaVirus. Two days later the pain was much worse so I went to my Primary Care and she ordered an MRI.  Thus began an adventure into the medical field. I could not get an MRI for 7 more days because the doctor or her people did not put STAT on my order. Finally 3 days after the MRI, I finally got a result from my doctor and she said that it was a fractured tibia and possibly a torn meniscus. A wonderful orthopedic doctor, Dr. Burns squeezed me in but could not see me for another 6 days.

All of this time, I was losing hope in getting better.  I tried not to think of not walking ever again or needing a wheelchair for the rest of my life. My advice I am trying to give you is to go to the emergency room as they get you diagnosed and fixed right away. I wish I had, it would have saved me a long two weeks of ignorance and pain. But…I have my hope back again. I have a hairline fracture of my tibia but NO torn meniscus.  The doctor said it would take 6 weeks to heal and I have gone through the worst of it so there is no need to cast it and he will take an x-ray in 4 weeks.

This seems to be a week for hope and signs of it are popping up everywhere. Lee Harris has a great video for us on Rebirth and creating joy.

I had no idea that our country is doing so well in cutting down the number of jails and repurposing them.  There is HOPE

My mom had dementia so this really hits home for me.  She had forgotten my name but whenever she was asked who I was, she would reply: ”That’s my daughter”. This is an amazing story.

Let’s not forget the animal kingdom.  Even they have angels watching over them.

I will end with a hilarious solution to juggling too many things at once.

EYE OPENING NEWS

Your pets save you in many ways with their unconditional love.  Here is something the humans have created as a healing for dogs and then the dogs will reciprocate with helping humans once again. There are so many miracles happening and so quickly that I don’t have room in my newsletters for all that I would like to share with you.

Cov-19 has brought many ways to treat this virus.  One of them is Cannabis, yes, you read right…Cannabis.  Here is the link for you to decide which is right for you.

Another valuable use for CBD.  Who would have “thunk” that?

Wouldn’t you know that something very natural is another way to strengthen our immune system against this virus, it is Vit D.  I prefer to get mine from the sun but living in the Northeast, I do need to get help from the Vit D through other means. The reason that dark skinned people are so vulnerable to Covid 19 is because their skin does not absorb Vit D very well. After all, their skin was created to spend an enormous amount in the sun so their body was protecting them. Here is proof.

I know a lot of people think by people getting the stimulus money that it would lead them to wanting to be given more.  Here is a study of a city that gave their people free money for two years and the results.  You may be surprised by this.

How would you like to never worry again about getting a flat tire?  It is possible and here are the eye opening results. I can’t imagine what our planet will look like in just 5 years with all the innovations that are coming forth.

MEMORIES & HINTS OF THE FUTURE

How many times have you heard from elders that things were better in their day?  Actually, the Aborigines are still the humans who receive great ideas and solutions from Mother Earth because they are closer to her and listen to Mother Nature also.  Do you remember your mom cooking with iron utensils?  There was a great purpose for doing that but humankind wanted to create so called better things. We were healthier back then because our elders knew how to get the most from whatever they had and that includes gardening, food and canning. I keep getting reminded of their wisdom on a daily basis.  When I got this message, I thought it was a great idea for today but our parents used iron cooking utensils to give us what our body needed.  How many times are we reminded to go out in nature, that it is good for us?  When I was a kid, it was an everyday thing to go out in nature and not come home until supper. This video makes me smile with memories.

Another new creation for the relief of Covid 19. It astounds my mind when I “try” to understand what they know and what develops.  This one is called “The Fake Handshake”. Check it out.

And then…..the simplicity of what this handicapped man could and would do.  I cannot imagine doing what he did for most of my life.

Have you ever wondered about the ads on the super bowl? Here is one invented especially for entry into the game of being in this contest. It was created by Tom Hanks and Stephen Colbert for a small business owner who was on the verge of closing her store.   The result is something you should see and it will make you smile.
