MOOD LIFTERS

Beloved,

I don’t know about you but I could use a laugh about now. At least a chuckle or a grin. So I am going to do something different and put the light hearted news at the beginning. I hope you enjoy these. Out of the mouths of babes.

A little boy was attending his first wedding.
After the service, his cousin asked him,
“How many women can a man marry?”
“Sixteen,” the boy responded.
His cousin was amazed that he had an answer so quickly.
“How do you know that?”
“Easy,” the little boy said.
“All you have to do is add it up, like the pastor said,
4 better, 4 worse, 4 richer, 4 poorer.”

After a church service on Sunday morning, a young boy suddenly announced to his mother,
“Mom, I’ve decided to become a minister when I grow up.”
“That’s okay with us, but what made you decide that?”
“Well,” said the little boy, “I have to go to church on Sunday anyway,
And I figure it will be more fun to stand up and yell, than to sit and listen.”

A 6-year-old was overheard reciting the Lord’s Prayer at a church service,
“And forgive us our trash passes, as we forgive those who passed trash against us.”

A boy was watching his father, a pastor, write a sermon.
“How do you know what to say?” he asked.
“Why, God tells me.”
“Oh, then why do you keep crossing things out?”

A little girl became restless as the preacher’s sermon dragged on and on.
Finally, she leaned over to her mother and whispered,
“Mommy, if we give him the money now, will he let us go?”

Ms. Terri asked her Sunday School class to draw pictures of their favorite Bible stories.
She was puzzled by Kyle’s picture, which showed four people on an airplane.
She asked him which story it was meant to represent.
“The Flight to Egypt,” was his reply.
Pointing at each figure, Ms. Terri said,
“That must be Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus.
But who’s the fourth person?”
“Oh, that’s Pontius – the pilot!”

The Sunday School Teacher asks,
“Now, Johnny, tell me frankly do you say prayers before eating?”
“No ma’am,” little Johnny replies, I don’t have to.
My mom is a good cook.”

This is the best one.

A little girl was sitting on her grandfather’s lap as he read her a bedtime story.
From time to time, she would take her eyes off the book and reach up to touch his wrinkled cheek.
She was alternately stroking her own cheek, then his again.
Finally she spoke up, “Grandpa, did God make you?”
“Yes, sweetheart,” he answered, “God made me a long time ago.”
“Oh,” she paused, “Grandpa, did God make me too?”
“Yes, indeed, honey,” he said, “God made you just a little while ago.”
Feeling their respective faces again, she observed,
“God’s getting better at it, isn’t he?”

Here is a video of the inner workings of the elephant who never forgets. It is amazing just how we can actually see and feel the emotions between the two.

Are you smiling yet? I know it lifted my mood so I can share some caring and loving energy with you. Children are my favorite mood lifters but so are people who are so creative when something is so obvious to them. I hope you pass this along as there are many people in this world who would love to know about this clothing and the peace that it brings to the whole family.

It seems all I hear on the news is about how the police are such brutes and so uncaring. I know there are always some like that but most of them deserve our thanks and appreciation for all the unknown good that they do for us with no expectation of reward.

While we are in a trend of enjoying and learning from children, I want to share this from Neale Donald Walsch.

I have been preparing all week for this weekend. Tomorrow, Saturday, I will be offering my book, The Wounded Chalice in all forms at the Catholic Women’s Conference. It is a book that inspires women to honor themselves and their bodies. Without women there would be no future human race. That is how important you are to the whole world. It is also an autobiography of the many ways we women are challenged and some tips on how to be a winner in the game of life. It is a book from a mother to all the mothers especially on Mother’s Day which is coming up quite soon. Do you need a gift for your mom that she will absolutely love? Let me know.

Sunday I will have a booth as the Natural Life Celebration at the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket, RI. It celebrates healthy living on a healthy planet. I will be offering Mystic Readings with Reiki and also my book and CD’s will be available. Hope to see you again and give you a hug.

I am now on my way to set up for the conference tomorrow, so I’ll close for now and I hope you got to smile at least once.

Love and Light
