Beloved,
Are you enjoying this summer? It has such a variety of temperatures that everyone has something they like. The brutal winter we experienced is a thing of the past, or is it? I could not believe my ears but was told that the Farmer’s Almanac has predicted three winters in a row like the one we just had. I don’t want to put a damper on your summer but want to give you a reason to appreciate deeply what we have right now. Enjoy every moment and every day.
Two nights this week I went to an old fashioned concert on the green of neighboring towns. What a joy that was to watch the little children having the room to run anywhere they chose and so they did. There were two little girls ( sisters?) who brought such delight to all of us as they ran around, looked at everyone, played ball with someone else’s beach balls and the scenario where the older one was teaching the younger one to do the tumbling tumbleweeds. The younger one was having a problem with the last push she needed to roll over so the older one went over and just gave her a gentle push on her button and over she went. They were dancing up a storm and participating in the music. The parents gave them each a dollar and they got a bag of popcorn. They so enjoyed every bite and so did we as we watched them enjoying every moment of their time there. The owners of the beach balls (strangers?), at the end of the concert, gave each one of the girls the blow up beach ball they had so enjoyed. I can still feel the joy they had shared so contagiously with all of us. I feel it inside and then see myself doing what they were doing. It is so invigorating. Try it.
The geese are still visiting us and it is funny to watch them when we put something new into “their” space. The wolf/fox does not do what it was supposed to do; in fact, they stay right in front of it while munching on the grass or while they preen. There is a swan (fake) in the area now but it is so small that they just avoid that particular part of the water and continue with what they want to do. It is hilarious to watch what they do when a “new” occupant shows up. They were even diving under water and coming back up with their huge wings aflapping. I believe they were testing the swan to see if it would come after them. It floats and the surges of the water does turn it around and make it wobble but I think it is just its size that makes it ineffective. I found some plastic swans that are large but they only have the top half of their bodies. I will tell our president and perhaps we could both go and look at them. I think if we put Styrofoam underneath because they are hollow, they would float. There are four of them, three with the neck down in attack mode and one with the head up. I will keep you posted.
Tomorrow, I get to use my scooter again and go on a bus trip. This time it is to New Hampshire to a lighthouse and then to a lobster fest where they have the best steamed clams. The big draw for me is the food but I am so excited to be able to be going. It will be a lot of fun. Enjoy what this season is offering us, the freedom and the joy that is there for the asking. We are being given a lot of opportunities to release thoughts and habits that keep us stuck. Be a child again and willing to embrace the new changes that are here.
Watch this and be aware that these are adults having the time of their life spontaneously. You don’t have to be a kid to have fun.
Lee Harris has some suggestions and they make a lot of sense to me. In fact, when I self judge, I do what he suggests.

This article has many truths and some perspectives that may challenge you a little bit. In other words, there is a lot of food for thought.
Love Letters that you won’t believe. I get so excited when humanity shows just how great we really are.
There was so many this week from www.goodnewsnetwork.org that I am having a problem choosing which ones to send to you. You can subscribe to this yourself if you would like a pick me up once a week. These prove that everyone has a purpose and there are so many ways to send the same message. I like to have my certainty of the goodness of the human race proven to me, over and over, with different scenarios and different people playing those roles.
