HEART WARMING

How would you like to have a synopsis of the good that 2021 brought to this Earth and humanity?  I am sure there are more than I am presenting here yet there are so many “good” reminders of what we as humans are all about. I confess that I allow myself to get “down” about life and really would not mind leaving planet earth.  I have seen and experienced enough, I tell myself. Then…..I see the good that is here on Earth and the love that flows through the tears and smiles of the victims and the rescuers alike. These stories will bring smiles to YOUR face and warm loving feeling to YOUR heart.

Since there are so many stories in just this one link, I will not add any more. Remember that you do not have to read this in one session; it will still be there for you to read more if you so choose. Might be a good thing to have by your bed since you probably keep your phone there anyway.

GOOD NEWS!

Who says that good deeds go unrecognized?  This week, there are so many “good” things that are in the news that I am having a hard time picking the best among them.  To me, no deed, even the most simple goes unrecognized even if the “giver” does not know that he/she was seen. Isn’t it great that it is becoming everyday unknown news about all the good in this world. I believe that we deserve to know about all the good the way we know all about the negative.  Paper news and TV news, can you hear us? Then maybe, just maybe, our youth will have something to model instead of all the heavy and dark news that we are now receiving. Enjoy feeling good about humanity after reading these known “good deeds”.

Here is a very small effort to achieve a miracle to a young boy and his family and who knows who else is watching.  What a model this story is.

Notice the different ages for the giver and receiver.

Isn’t this what we wish to see and feel in our world.

I can’t say that I have the faith and love that she has for bees.  Yet she is using her gift to help the bees and the humans who benefit from the bees’ gifts.

There are just so many “good deeds” that I really am having a problem choosing which ones to send you.  Sooo, I am putting them all on my newsletter and perhaps I can choose among them.  Help?????/

Notice how another gorilla took the mother’s role in taking care of the new orphan.  If animals can do it without being told to, why cannot we humans do it?  WE DO but it is unnoticed and not on the news outlets.

I managed to reduce this newsletter to 7 experiences and I hope this good and happy feeling blows you away.

PREMONITIONS

Well, we finally had some sizable snow and I know this will give a lot of people give a sign of relief. The kids got another day without going to school so they can go out and play in the snow.  Do you remember doing that?  In my days, we walked to and from school and the plows would do the streets but left huge mounds of snow for us to make slides with. There was no such thing as snow removal then. I guess I am dating myself but there is a huge contrast between what was my childhood and today’s childhood.

I thought I knew what a snowflake looked like but with this new equipment, take a peek at what a snowflake or should I say, snowflakes look like.

After all of these premonitions, you  need a laugh, smile or chuckle.  Enjoy!

Would you like to see what an old English Cottage looks like on the inside?  This cottage was used for movies, like The Holiday,  and people still want to take pictures of it so the homeowners are kind enough to allow the gawkers to get their fill. Check to see what the selling price was. I was in shock when I read the amount.
