SMALL THINGS ARE BEST

Beloved,

I was given such a beautiful gift this morning. I looked out and saw a merganser duck which is rare for me to see. The female was alone or so I thought. The beautiful male was in a spot that I could not see very much, he was in the part of the lake that was hiding behind the tree that is on the beach. The reason I am so happy is that when I was out in my kayak the other day, I came to one of the coves and I must have disturbed them because they flew past me. The water lilies are not out yet so I can go deeper into the coves right now and when I saw them fly by, I was surprised. In all my years here, I have never seen the merganser duck be in the coves. In that moment, I thought how marvelous it would be if they nested on my lake. So the appearance of them in front of my beach this morning is raising my hopes that they will indeed nest here.

How has your week been? A little confusing as your plans are suddenly changed or something new pops up that you need to do? My week has been one of fulfilling a lot of responsibilities that I was not planning on attending to and also a week of surprise events that warmed my heart. It feels like this time is designed to move us out of our comfort zones and habitual daily lives. I am reminding myself to stay in the moment which is easier sometimes than others. I am getting a lot of practice opportunities to do just that which is good because that is one that I wish to develop into a habit. I still have not got my windows washed but my car has had its oil changed which led to finding out that my front brakes need replacing (that will be next week). My generator has had its oil changed also and did NOT need to have the spark plugs changed so it is all set to give me power when it is needed. The cost of these was higher than I expected but I know and trust that I have been guided to take care of these so they will serve me well in the next moment.

I did not have the usual amount of time to prepare for the Expo this weekend but guess what? It went smoother than I expected. I had a delightful visit with some friends that have been away for the winter and then received a phone call from a friend I have not heard from in two years with the hopes of physically getting together next week. Check your week and see the unusual things that have occurred. It might surprise you to see what the energies of the eclipse and the Grand Cardinal Cross of yesterday and the day before and also the upcoming solar eclipse on the 29th brought to your awareness. You might have been so busy that you are not aware of the gifts you received as well as the challenges. This is a time of collapsing 3rd and 4th dimensions yet it is a time of seeding. You are in powerful seed moments of opportunity. You are seeding your future, so allow yourself to focus on your dreams. We humans are much more creative that we give ourselves credit for. Check out this video and be in awe. For me, this is explaining what part of our future will look like and we will be guided through the dark moments by something that is not really visible in the 3rd dimensional world.

Here is another reminder to you of the ingenuity of mankind which you are an important part of.

I want you to give yourself credit for the gifts you have. You may never make the news but that is OK as you are fulfilling what your heart wants to do whether it is publicized or not. One moment at a time, you are changing your world by sharing the gift of you. Just a smile from you makes everyone feel better and light enough to share their gifts. When we all share with one another, what a world this will be.

Here are some simple markers to happiness, just like the road that shines after absorbing the light of the sun.

THE APRIL ENERGIES

Beloved,

What a sight to behold as I raised the shades of my bow window in my living room this morning. The lake has been melting at the edges but yesterday, it melted so much more that this morning the houses across the lake were mirrored in the water. Do you know how long it has been since I have seen that? It seems like forever. Ice melts differently in a lake than most people realize. It starts at the edges which actually loosens the whole big floe of ice which proceeds to move around. It actually floats around on the water and the more it thaws, the more you see the movement. It is a huge grey colored “thing” that actually can look like plastic. It does not reflect the sky, only the water can do that. But this morning I could see across the lake and see the houses mirrored in a small segment of water as the daylight came to reflect the sky onto any lake water that was not covered.

AS I looked and basked in seeing this beauty once again, I noticed some white spots which I could not make out with the naked eye. I got my binoculars which are kept near the bow window and looked at the area where the white things were. Guess what they were? The merganser ducks! I was so excited as this is around the time they appear but the lake is always thawed when they come. As I peered through the binoculars, it was so much fun to see the white bodies of the male mergansers and the reddish brown color of the females. They are divers so it is always a challenge to count them as they are not always “on” the water at the same time. There were 16 of them and it is always a treat to see them disappear at the same time and then come up at the same time. That does not happen often. It is much like a dance with a rhythm all its own. The biggest treat is when they come in front of my house as I can watch the WHOLE symphony at the same time. With binoculars, your width or full view is kind of restricted. The water in front of my home is the last to thaw or should I say, that is where the ice floe ends up before it finally dissipates and then the ducks are free to come right in front of the beach. The diving ducks do not come onto the beach; they are interested in only diving in the water.

SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!

There is so much energy in this month of April and we are all feeling it even if we don’t know it. You can tell a lot by what is happening around the world. With all the earthquakes and tornadoes and our political scenarios happening, they are a mirror for what is happening right inside of us. There is so much I could share in explanation of this phenomenon. I will choose those which I think will interest you and also those which give the most information of how we can help ourselves with the energies being so rampant.

Let me begin with Lee Harris which the beginning just might shock you a little, it did me. I just never thought of life in that way although it is something I knew, it just was not verbally expressed. He has a good tip for how you can feel calmer when things are chaotic around you.

Dana Mrkich had a lighter version of what is happening.

Sarah Varcas has a more detailed explanation if you would like to know more.

Do you ever wonder if what you are doing or where you are has meaning? So many times we are delayed either in traffic or by a flat tire or by some other circumstance. Do you rant and rave because you are so worried about being late or that you don’t have time? This is a reminder that you are ALWAYS right where you are supposed to be, at all times. A loving energy has their finger on what is happening and even when we do not know the outcome, we are always in the right place at the right moment. Humans could not possibly orchestrate down to the minutes and seconds of what is happening around us.

Necessity is the Mother of Invention! I say that Mothers use Necessity to Invent. All it takes is LOVE – for ourselves and for others to make this a better world for ALL.

Let’s use our LOVE to make this a better world for ALL. We can do it by just visualizing Love being spread to the whole planet. We do not need wires or towers to communicate or pass along what we are feeling. WE humans are capable of just feeling and then making intent and that LOVE just touches the rest of humanity. Remember: WE ARE ALL ONE.

PRE-THANKSGIVING GRATITUDE

Beloved,

What a beaaaaaautiful Expo last weekend. I was so thrilled to see so many of you and I am sorry I missed some of you because I was busy when you stopped by. Welcome to the new recipients of my weekly newsletter, it is an honor to serve you. I feel we are a family who continues to expand and welcomes others into our “fold”.

This also has been a week of variety with the weather. We have had freezing temperatures as well as spring type days. I had already done a complete romp around the whole lake a few days ago and it was eerily quiet. All the boats have been brought in and also the docks, even the last straggling raft has made its way to dry land. It was clear sailing with no obstacles, even the thin layer of ice has gone away. Yet they predict real winter temperatures on Sunday so we won’t forget what winter is really like. Yesterday, it was 45 degrees with just a slight breeze so I thought I would treat myself to a jaunt around the lake in my kayak. I could not make it all the way around the lake. Although I was wearing gloves, my fingers felt frozen and although I had a hat, it did not cover my ears, so they were frozen too. The breeze was soft but cold so it felt much colder than usual. I allowed myself to turn around and go around the coves which did not have as much wind and then I came back. I don’t give up until the lake is frozen so that I can’t maneuver. I know it is coming yet I treasure it even more now as I know the time is limited.

Thanksgiving is already just next week, are you ready? I try to make every day a day of Thanksgiving as gratitude brings so much joy. Today my older son, Steve. took his son Michael and I to my favorite restaurant where we are treated just like family. In fact, the owner sits down with us and chats just like we are. We were celebrating a belated birthday for Michael. She even hugs my son as well as myself and the food is delicious as always. They are Italian and use only fresh blocks of Mozzarella cheese for all foods requiring it, including the house burger which is messy but soooo good. We even started out with fried mozzarella as an oer d’oeuvre. AJ the chef has Celiac like me so he cooks my fish and chips in olive oil in a separate pan. Yummmm. the potatoes are not frozen, they are cut fresh every day and he uses a special batter that is gluten free for the fish. Today feels like we had a thanksgiving feast for which I am so grateful. Can you tell I am still experiencing it. The best part is I get to reminisce about it and then I have left overs so the flavor of the feast lasts a long time, just like Thanksgiving leftovers. The restaurant is Diane’s Villa Nova in Holland, Ma.

I feel like this little one, who is trying something new but she is all wrapped up and top heavy. My tummy is so full that I can relate to what she is happening to her. Smile, it is so cute.

I would have preferred to wait until after Thanksgiving to send this to you but the stores are now pushing Christmas before Thanksgiving by advancing Black Friday before Thursday. The tune is very catchy and the words are so right on. It is just a reminder of what Christmas really means and what we can do to stop the ones who are being forced or who wish to take away the real meaning of this beloved holiday.

I received this in an email from a friend who’s son-in-law was the driver of the vehicle. I watched it in slow motion with such awe that a human could survive. I know we are protected and I know the angels are hard at work to keep us from our own folly but to actually see this happening, I am awestruck. I will never feel afraid again after viewing this.

I am still so full of love after meeting with such beautiful soulful people that I have not completely come down from the experience. I wish to share it with you so you can carry it along with you on Thanksgiving Day to your beloveds and bring gratitude for everyone and everything in your life. Gratitude for being alive and gratitude for your beloveds no matter where they are. Be careful, smile, as you just might do what that little child did after you partake in the camaraderie and food of the holiday.
