How was the First Day of Spring for you? I know the energies were off the charts and we were all being affected. There are still more special days coming so I wanted to include this link. I got it last week after I sent out the newsletter but it is fun to look back and see what happened. At the end of this there is a note about special days ahead so take a peek.

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful and I had the urge to wash my windows. It is not warm enough yet but it “felt” warm with the sun streaming in. I laugh at myself everyday as I look at my new full glass door looking at the lake. Do you know what I see? Nose prints on the glass!!!! I keep forgetting that the glass is there and as I am always trying to see more, I leave an imprint in more ways than one. I have thoroughly enjoyed my new doors throughout the winter. The kitchen one has only a half window but if the sun is out, it comes right in that door. All I need to do is open the inside door and I have a full glass storm door from which I get the sun to sunbathe and then I can see the sun even more. It makes winter more palatable.
It is raining today, after all it is spring. The grackles and robins are enjoying the snow free grass and dirt. For most of my life, I believed like most people that a robin was the first sign of spring. Well, that has proven to be a myth as they stay around the fields where there is food but don’t come to our yards because there is nothing to eat. Today, I saw a first. There were quite a few grackles and one robin who were pecking at the ground. All of a sudden a grackle rushed to the robin and pushed him out of the way and snatched the worm. Perhaps that is why the grackles tolerate the robins as they are such good worm finders.
There is such a wonderful trend going on or perhaps they are just finally letting us know what is happening. These young people today are inventing and creating items for so much less cost and they are sending it to the neediest people on the planet. There are too many to share in this newsletter but I want to give you a taste. It just might have you looking at our young people in a different way, and….it gives us a taste of what is to come.

It is not just young people who are inventive but inventors are everywhere. This is such a great idea that I wish it would spread all over this globe. Not just for keeping our bodies warm but for keeping our hearts warm.

It seems that I am not finding as much humor as I was before but Mother Nature sure has some relaxing and interesting sites to refresh us. I love things that I can share with my family and friends too.
