This is election time and it is also the time of the most outrageous false news.  I do not usually dabble in election news but I do vote each and every primary and the final two choices. There is one person who does not deserve the untruths being said about his many years of service. When I saw the outcome of all that he has done and worked for these many years, I decided to at least share what I have learned and you can make up your own mind. He is a true non-partisan as he has worked for and with both sides and remained honest and trustworthy through it all.  And….he is not voted in to his position.

In case you had not heard, Spirit of Change is giving us her last publication. After 35 years of sharing so much information with us, it will truly be a huge loss.  I, for one, am truly grateful for all she has shared and she definitely lived her purpose on this planet.  And..I have a feeling we have seen the last of her yet.

I was getting dizzy just watching her paint with both hands and feet…all at the same time. I think you have to see this to believe it.

I don’t believe that I have ever seen a van created like this. The space is unbelievable and they are able to see the sights that would  have taken their whole lifetime to discover in any other way.

INNOCENCE

Are you enjoying our brief time of “hot” weather?  It does give us an excuse to stay in the house with air conditioning or  go out into nature for relief. We have the same choice in the extremes of winter also. Twice a year, we get Mother Nature at her strongest display of the power of Nature. What amazes me is the ability of the human race to increase in its growth with its miniature size in comparison.

I begin each day by doing my prayer ritual and when I sit down to this computer, I read Father Richard Rohr’s daily meditation first.  He is a Franciscan priest who has spent most of his life giving good advice even if it SEEMED opposite to what Catholicism was teaching. He has made me think quite often of what I used to take for granted but now am being given another interpretation which fills my heart.

This particular meditation touched me so deeply that I felt I must share it with you so you may be touched by his wisdom. I cannot say enough about Fr Richard to convince you so I am going to share this particular talk with you, so you can see and hear for yourself.  ‘Innocence, Leaving the Garden‘.

GENTLE GIANTS

Happy Memorial Day

I thank all the souls that have cut their lives short that I might live in a “free” country. Let us remember them by rising to this occasion by being a gentle giant ourselves.

I am so sad today as I remember the senseless killing at that grammar school or any killing for that matter.  All killing is senseless but the fact that WE create the demon that runs around killing children is too much to bear.  ALL of these killers had something killed in them when they were young.  By bullies who we tolerate and do nothing about, by a society which idolizes guns thinking it gives power to the one holding it. WHY are we not as human beings teaching them that to be gentle with ourselves and each other is the greatest POWER of all. It takes a strong person to allow getting a slap in the face and not retaliate with the same action. That is the strength that we should be honoring and promoting. Have you ever noticed that the strongest human is a gentle giant?  Why are we not honoring that kind of strength?  Let us be the symbol of gentle strength to all of mankind.

Good News Network has brought me many moments of laughter and joy as I read what they send me in their newsletters. They also have given me much information about “new” things that I did not know about and information about what is happening on our planet. I have tried to share this news with you also. I am so pleased that they have joined with another company that believes in sharing their knowledge, wisdom and insight to the world also. We need more news that enlightens us and also gives our heart a chance to realize just how much joy there is on our planet. This is what our children need to be exposed to. Let them realize that the news we hear on the media is not always about “bad news”.  I am so grateful to have media that shows the “real” life.

Why does “good” news like this make us feel “good”.

What an example of having HOPE.  It works and is what miracles are made of.

Who would have thought that h20 could be used to enhance our electronics? Miracles are happening.
