GOAL NECESSITIES – HOPE AND STAMINA

Time really got away from me this past week, has that ever
happened to you? I’ll bet it has, it happens to all of us. I
apologize for being late with this newsletter.

Celebrations are all around us, there are many graduations
and parties to attend. My daughter-in-law was pinned with
her nursing degree of being a Registered Nurse one night and
graduated with her Associates Degree the next day. All this and
being a new mom with a year old daughter and now her husband,
my son, with a yet to be diagnosed illness. Who says females are
the weaker sex, I beg to differ with that statement. She was also
working part time. Whew!!!

My youngest son just got his college grades and he Aced them all.
He worked hard and now he is getting the results. It is more difficult
to go to college in your forties, you have been out of school for so
long that it takes a lot of sweat and stamina to get in the swing. Here
is a boy who quit high school and then decided years later to get his
GED and now he is in college. Never give up hope, one day you will
achieve your goals and perhaps in ways you never expected.

I was 52 years old when I got my Bachelor’s degree. I had set my
goal for a college diploma when I graduated from high school. I was
attending night school when I met my husband, got married at 17 and
had a child at 18. I had three children by the time I was 25 but I never
gave up trying to get my degree. I attended all the local colleges at one
time or another and piecemeal kept gathering credits until I finally
achieved my goal.

Life does take stamina and perseverance. I wonder how long it took
for the girls in this video to achieve the feats they perform. Check it
out.

This is a video of an act from 1944 – a sister act called the Ross Sisters.

I had never heard of them. The song they sing is about 45 seconds long (nothing special) but what they do next is…!

Can you imagine these girls on Australia ‘s Got , America Got Talent and/or England Got Talent?

I don’t think I have ever seen a human being do some of the stunts they did!

LIVING IN THE AGE OF EMPOWERMENT

I woke up this morning with a message in my head that no
amount of head shaking would release. Even my prayer/
meditation time, exercise, or breakfast could seem to get
it out of my head. I know when I am being nagged by
Spirit to get something done.

Yesterday I watched Oprah and she had some
victims of incest on her show. That subject is dear to
my heart because my daughter was such a victim.

But….it bothered me that as far as I know, Mothers
of incest victims have not told their story. I told my
side of that experience in my book, The Wounded Chalice.
Every incest survivor has a mother and each mother
has suffered twice because of the betrayal. Once
because her beautiful child was molested and secondly,
her world and dreams have fallen apart.

The spiritual nagging would not cease so I went onto
Oprah’s website and looked around. She was looking
for people to be on her show and one of the subjects
was keeping secrets.

I sent off a note to Oprah and volunteered to be on her
show (I am still shocked that I have done this but fear
won’t set in unless or until she calls me). The story of
the MOTHER of the victim still needs to be told so
the whole world can help heal this abuse.

I was thinking about you and wondering what I could
possibly write about today that might encourage you
or affect you in any way.

I subscribe to Spirit Library daily updates so I decided
to read them. One of them hit me right between the
eyes and I felt that I was being spoken to quite loudly.

It was a video of Steve Rother who channels The Group.
It was about Empowerment 101 and Life at the Speed of
Love. He was talking about how 500 souls came to Earth
at the beginning, although not in life forms like the body.

He progressed explaining how humans came to Earth and
what is in store for us now. At the end, he said that although
it does not appear right now that things are getting better,
they are. He gave us HOPE. He also said that there will
be no more secrets on Earth and that is how peace and Love
will come to us.

I just knew that I had to share my secret with you and give
you the means to access this video. My technological knowhow
is not good enough to know how to give you a link that you just
click on but I believe the message is so important, I wanted to
pass it on to you.

Let us start now in letting the secrets come out so the
healing can begin. We can all do this even if it scares
us to even think about it.

HOPE, Easter’s promise

Happy, Happy Easter Everyone,

Can you tell this is my favorite Holyday, holiday? Of all the
reasons for celebration, Easter is my favorite.

It comes at a time of the year, at least here in Northeast, when
all things are in renewal. Our trees are budding, grass is
growing, birds are mating, lady bugs are appearing, etc.

Our sun is shining longer and for me, I am now just beginning
to see the sunsets which are such a treat for me to see over
the water and watching it from my deck or inside the house.

The birds are twittering again, such a joyful sound. The
turkey buzzards are cleaning up all the winters leftovers and
soaring high in the sky. Before I got my kayak, I used to ask
them to please take me up for a ride so I could enjoy the
water and freedom.

I think they were very happy when I got my kayak
because the very first time I got in, seven of them
appeared overhead and I swear I heard them chuckling
and breathing a sigh of relief.

I mentioned this to my oldest son who was a little
concerned about his mother going out on her own.
He said: Mom, they are just watching to see if you
are going to be their next meal”.

My son, ever the pragmatist, had me laughing.
I remember the look on his face as I took off,
I had told him I did this before on a vacation,
but I don’t think he believed me. The birds
knew and were here to give me a send off
and be happy for me with my new freedom.

As a mother, I don’t think I could have offered
my son for the sake of humanity as God did.
This fact gives me such HOPE as I know that
Mother/Father God would not allow their son
to die in vain.

Jesus, the Christ, came to show us that even when
things look the darkest as the events of Good Friday
represent, there is always an Easter. The sun (Son)
is always shining even if the clouds obscure it for
a time.

This is such a joyous occasion. Allow this day to
fill you with HOPE and confidence in your future.
We are so loved, Mother/Father God are watching
their children (us) learn to walk, fall down and get
back up again. We are like children learning ever
so much and with such enthusiasm for the simple
things in life.

Have you ever watched a child study nature in
awe and acceptance? Let us be like the children
we are. Loving all that is and looking forward to
the next adventure in life which we take for granted.
