YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Hooray! I can see the grass finally. Yes, it is quite muddy but it feels good to be able to see around the corners again without all those huge mountains of snow. The birds are singing again, the tips of the trees are colorful as the process of growth begins. I even heard Canadian geese again and the turkey vulture is hard at work cleaning up all the debris so our Spring will be clear and fresh. I can see the beach sand now and although the lake is still topped by ice, there are signs of melting. This rain we had really made the snow disappear quite quickly. I can now get all the salt on my car washed off. Spring is exciting to behold especially after such a brutal winter. I wonder if people down south get to fully appreciate the coming of Spring. I would like to personally find that out someday. I wonder if we humans take warmth for granted when the climate stays the same. I am still working at becoming a snowbird next winter, now is the time to reserve your place for 2016. If you have any suggestions on any mobile parks or places to stay when I go down south, I would love to hear them. Feel free to email me.

This story speaks to my heart as this has happened to me also and I am now more aware of listening to my heart. And when I don’t, then I know it is just another opportunity for me to be aware of how my heart is prodding me to get my attention instead of relying only on my mind. I am so grateful that this particular time in humanity is finally here. It is definitely a lot more intriguing.

This is quite a metaphor for what we have all been doing these last years. We have been clearing the mountain that has kept us from feeling the freedom that was just on the other side. This man definitely listened to his heart and he is such an example for us.

I know that the news is carrying and repeating all the dire warnings and the horror of the war. Yet we have wars right here in the USA. How many of our children are being killed or are doing the killing. This is a war of humanity against itself. It is an energy of kill or be killed. Does it feel to you that it is in the “thinking” that this energy exists? We are one species on one planet and we annihilating each other just because we have different thoughts. But it is exactly those different thoughts that have evolved humanity to where it is now. Every day there is a new solution or invention that helps humanity with all of its so called woes. Let us respect each other’s opinions and acknowledge the differences by accepting the similarities and respecting the differences. We are all more alike than we are different. You and I can make a difference on this planet with the energy of LOVE and ACCEPTANCE. Let the HEART lead and not the mind. Here is an article that will set you diving deep into yourself.

A good example of how one country can help the whole world. The bees have been in peril for a while and now an invention that will help them and also us. Can you imagine what the bees have had to suffer just so we could have of its bounty? Man is incredible with his ability to create.

INSPIRATIONS AND INSIGHTS

Last Saturday morning as I awoke, I took a deep breath. Suddenly I realized that I had never breathed as deep as that. It was as if a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and I could breathe again. What was that, I thought? I first thought it must have been because it has stopped snowing and the sun is melting the huge mountains of show. Then I was guided to dig deeper and I came to the knowing that the entire planet had just gone through a shift. The energies, unseen by human eyes, are coming in from above. We have hit a milestone in becoming a new humanity. I believe that the unseen force, LOVE, has finally surpassed the FEAR and we are all feeling it. I mentioned this to a few people and they all said that they too had felt that they could breathe so much deeper than before. Did that happen to you? Did you take that breath? Perhaps you were not aware of it but now that you are aware, you will remember that you also participated in the whole planet taking a huge breath of relief. Hooray for humanity, we have turned the corner.

I know many people are not aware of what Cursillo means and what my Cursillo retreat two weekends ago was all about. I was sent this link that explained it even further. I myself did not know that it encompasses all religions. Who knew?

Imagine playing sports for the fun of it? It would not matter who wins, it is just having fun and sharing the excitement with all who are involved with the sports, fans included. I believe that is what sportsmanship means.

FLOW WITH THE CHANGE

As I returned to my more natural routine of going to yoga on Tuesday morning, then my pitch league on Wednesday this week, I realized just how much I had missed the easy routine I had before we were inundated with all the snow and wind. I still have not gotten back to Church at the 5:30 Mass which I serve at but that is still to come (we have had snow storms for 5 weeks on Saturdays). We are creatures of habit because it doesn’t take any energy to do our habits, it just sort of falls into place. It is also much easier to make plans with others when you have your habitual activities down pat. You know just which day and what time you will be away from home and unavailable for a change in plans. Telling you this makes me aware of how rigid I have become. It is so much easier to just flow with the pattern than to have to keep readjusting.

Perhaps this is why the whole country has been in confusion with the turmoil of the weather. It certainly does wake us up to what we have been doing without even thinking about it. Even when it comes to meals, you have to be inventive because perhaps you have not been able to get to the grocery stores to get your favorite foods? We are a society that has the ease of running to the store if we need something rather than stocking up on the things we use most often. Even at the grocery stores, there are items that have not been able to be shipped because of the storms, the airlines not being able to fly and the strike that was at our seaports. This winter has taught me not to take anything for granted any longer. I just hope this AHA moment stays with me as I want to be aware and grateful for ALL that I DO have and that I allow myself to flow with the changes more easily and with less resistance. What we resist persists!

Much to my amazement, Spirit Library carried a few of the predictions that more change is to come and to encourage us to be allowing. Tell you what! Let’s help ourselves and the world by being more willing to accept the change.
