UNUSUAL SIGHTS

It is September already, where has the summer gone? I think that is what we are all feeling. The sun is still out and we will still have some warm weather but this short cool spell is just a reminder of what is ahead weather wise.  Here I am grinning at myself as I am starting to plan unconsciously what I am going to put away as far as outside furniture and decorations.  I catch myself thinking that and then I realize that I am jumping too far ahead in time.  How are you being affected by this sudden change? The four ladies who swim across the lake every morning have had to change their pattern because of the cool nights which cool the water, many days they come after work now.  It is the warm nights that warm the lake water up but we have not had many of those.  The leader of my mermaids, as I call them, told me that the water in July was warmer than it was in August.

Let us say a prayer for the people who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.  In comparison, I have no complaints with our weather, just awareness of our good fortune to be where we are in this moment.  I have no words.  Thank you for the energy in all of its forms that you give to those affected.

It seems funny to me that the media did not publicize the death of Louise Hay who built the empire of Hay House Publications.  She was one of the spiritual teachers whose wisdom helped me along the path of my life. I am only one of millions that she affected and yet there is no publicity.  She is now in a more powerful place to share her light with those who are open to it. Thank you  Louise Hay  for all of the light and love you shared with us.

This wedding story blew me away and the pictures taken are the like of which have never been taken before.  Read this  story  and then go further into the  pictures  that share sights with you that you will not see anywhere else. Who says you have to have a traditional wedding.

I never thought of myself as a power grid but after reading what Brenda Hoffman has to say, it gave me a new perspective. It also gave me a new way to think of my personal power and how I am sharing it with others.

There was no way I could see that tiny being in the picture of the salad until I read the story to see what it was.  I have no idea how I would have reacted to that  situation  but her way of reacting was so honest and heartfelt.

PEOPLE WE LOOK UP TO

I hope you got to join in the celebration of the Eclipse in some way.  I did not have glasses, they were nowhere to be found so I watched the two hour special on TV for the length of the Totality and I watched it going on at NASA on my computer.  It was kind of cool to have both and I got to see shots of the Eclipse that I would not have seen if I had been there in person.  I am sure all of you have heard about the Astronomer Without borders who are collecting the used glasses to bring to the kids in countries where they do not have access. They will be having a full Eclipse in 2019. Don’t throw yours out, they are still usable for the next eclipse in 2024 or donate them here

Gary Zukav has such a beautiful interpretation of the eclipses in our lives.  He brings much awareness  about self-love in this blog post.

Every eclipse of the sun represents symbolically the activation of a frightened part of your personality. While that part is active, it obstructs the experience of your love, which is represented symbolically by the sun. Yet in the midst of that obstruction there is a great deal of power and beauty that is visible physically in a total eclipse of the sun.

 

While the darkness obstructs the sun’s light, the great power of the sun can be seen around the perimeter of the darkness as bursts of energy, as brilliant displays of light. These are reminders of the cause of the darkness. It is an experience of a frightened part of your personality that is active. That part of your personality eclipses your love, and yet it is in consciously going into that experience of darkness that you develop the ability to move beyond its control. That is represented by the brilliance and power that is visible around the perimeter of the darkness when the eclipse is total.

 

When love is obstructed totally, there is still the power of love surrounding that obstruction. It is the reason for that obstruction – so that you can experience the obstruction, get to know it fully, and challenge it as it occurs and when it reoccurs – so that when it comes you recognize it for what it is, a temporary eclipse of your love.

WHAT IS ON YOUR LIST TO RELEASE

This is a month where we have been brought face to face with our fears or anything that is ready to be released so we can have peace. For me, so many occurrences have been happening with my home.  First, I found water under my bow window causing the hard wood floor to show the effects of water.  Where it is coming from I don’t know and I am waiting for the person I hope will be able to find the answer and remedy.  Then my garage roof is leaking and it has been for a while as part of the floor is slanted.  Part of roof has a lot of mold growing on it.  Then my kitchen faucet’s stream of water slowed down so that has to be looked at.  I got an email that my cell phone service was discontinued, yet my phone is still working????  My Roman shade developed a cord that was being stripped by raising it up and down so I leave it up all the time now. I need to find someone that fixes that problem or get a new shade. When the man who did my yearly checkup on my tight tank finished his regular round, he did not hook up the hose from the dehumidifier to the sub pump and I could not physically get down in my crawl space to fix it so I have not been running my dehumidifier.   I have been handling all of these events of the past 2 weeks without reacting. I surprised myself as I had given that intent.

My beloved computer geek, webmaster, artist, healer, Barry Costa came to visit me last night with his 13 year old son, Anthony.  They are going to stay for a couple days and it is so good to see them.  The night before they came, I was watching TV when I saw this little dark figure scurry around the corner from my living room into the kitchen and hallway.  What Now?  I presumed it was a mouse but I had seen no signs of it being around. I checked all my food and that was OK.  It was 11:15pm when this happened so I decided to wait until tomorrow morning to figure this one out.  I went to bed and when IT started scratching, I just said in a loud voice: “I want to sleep tonight so be quiet.” To my amazement, it stopped and I was able to fall asleep.  The next morning I set up a Have a Heart trap hoping to catch the little critter before my company came the next day.  No luck, so I had to tell Barry and Anthony that they were sharing a house with a mouse so that they would not be surprised.  Embarrassment!  Anthony reset the trap and Voila, the little mouse decided to take the bait.

Barry fixed my dehumidifier in my crawl space, took off the wrapping around my tree for the prevention of gypsy moths and made us all breakfast of blueberry pancakes and eggs.  What a treat that was. He also gave the little critter a ride to another home while he was on his way to visit with former coworkers in Connecticut. He is going to check out my sink and my roman shade.  I am getting spoiled and the things are being handled without me even getting upset.  What a lesson this has been in patience and also belief that all will be handled at the right time. Having wonderful company and have my breakfast made for me with company at my table to boot, now you know why I am even much later with this newsletter than I have ever been.

The energy has been very powerful this month and it is actually a gift of opportunities for us so that we may vibrate at a much higher frequency.  The gifts are still coming especially with the Solar Eclipse on Monday.  Here is something interesting facts from Shelley Dressel about this time. What with all of the emotional damage occurring with all of the fighting among all the groups, this group is offering a way to ease the hate and anger found in some people.  These are voices of experience  that can connect their own experience of being white supremacists and all that goes with it.  Perhaps we can help them help our country and the world by spreading this to our government officials so their funding can be augmented. OR…start a fund where others can donate so their good work can continue.

Our veterans are being affected most by all of this display of agreeing with the very people that they fought against to protect  ALL Americans and even those from different countries.  It is heartwarming to see some gratitude being shown to them.
