BACKGROUND HISTORY OF HALLOWEEN

Happy Halloween no matter what night you celebrate it on.  This has been a year of cancellations or postponements for trick and treating. I remember the Halloween of 2011 where we had feet of snow and were without electricity for a week.  The rain this year is easier to take, you don’t have to shovel it. I always wondered about the true background of Halloween and this year, I found one.  Would you like to know the true beginnings? Click on highlighted words.

How would you like to go without your reading glasses? If you are like me, you have them in every room of your house.  The future is looking much brighter; the solution is on its way.

I have so much admiration for and  give thanks to our firefighters.  What they are doing in California exceeds their oath of duty.  The work they are doing in California is momentous but they do momentous things every day .  Check this out – what courage it took to calm this little girl down.  Now, they are really MEN and HEROES.

Diabetics listen up.  All who know a diabetic listen up?  The future is so bright for you.

Have you ever met someone who does not believe the Holocaust really happened?  I did and it was so uncomfortable.  How could someone not know about it?  Well, here is proof that it did occur and beyond that, anyone can check it out online.  What dedication it took to not only amass all of these records donated by thousands of people and relatives but the  humane devotion it took for the benefactor(Ancestry) who transferred them all onto the computer for all to see.  I picture so many people getting relief from grief just by being able to find their loved ones. HOPE FOR YOUR FUTURE

Happy Halloween,

The celebrations that occur for Halloween are increasing.  It is really a big deal now; it is not just going out trick or treating.  I know a lot of you like scary things or scary events so I thought I would share with you PLACES that are scary or at least thought provoking.  Enjoy the tour through the scariest places on Earth.

I have been concerned for some time now, about having clean water for all of humanity.  Humanity seems hell bent on wasting so much of it and industry is having a large effect on the quality of the most necessary ingredient that we humans need after our need for fresh air.  Here is an example of how far we have come. Now I will breathe easier knowing that we humans can also create thesolutions to the problems.

Another  solution forthcoming, aren’t we humans great?  Information like this gives me hope for all of our futures.  I am glad that you and I will live to see these come into fruition.

Can you just imagine any of our CEO’s considering  this paltry amount  any use or even having such a small amount after all those years of saving.?  You can see just how much good can be done by a man who only earns $10,000 a year and yet saved his tips in order to help children. This is the kind of man who has the greatest love for his fellow human being.   I wish our country’s leaders all thought like this man.  Can you just imagine what this world would look like?  Just look at his face and the people around him.  That is a clue.

The Space within is your Sacred space.  Have you ever thought of or considered where the REAL you actually exists?  This video from Jamye Price explains this in a way that is so understandable.  This is also what November, the 11th month has in store for us. Exciting news.

CALM IN THE STORM

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

A lot of events have been showing up that used to send me into a tizzy. It is so wonderful to be able to keep my “cool” and handle the situations with a clear head and also a clear heart. My heartfelt belief is that we as a species have come through some turbulent times which challenged us so much that what is happening now is small in comparison. I don’t like to always look back at the past yet it has so much wisdom for us if we take the time to decipher what is happening in the moment with that hard-earned wisdom.

I was due a credit on my charge card and even though I check it item by item when I get the paper carrying all the charges, something guided me to check it out on line. To my surprise, I had (4) $100 charges that said Category: Telephone Service. I had recently purchased a new cell phone at Walmart’s so I assumed that was the error was. My deduction is that they had put incorrect data when I switched my minutes to the new one although it was still a Tracfone like my old one. I checked out the Description and it said: GTL *Inmate phone svc in Alabama. ?????

First I checked with my charge card company but they could offer me no explanation. I then called the 877 number on my bill and discovered much to my surprise that someone had used my credit card to give an inmate $400 worth of phone time. I was told it was more than likely someone who knew me because the charge was done electronically and the person would have to know my zip code, my security code, and my name as well as my credit card number. I still had the card in my possession and I wracked my brain to remember somewhere were the card was out of my sight but could come up with nothing. The person could not give me any more information and suggested that the only way to access who had made the charges was to call the police and file a credit card fraud charge.

I then called the police and they offered to send the State Police as we are a small town and do not have a full schedule of officers. I declined as it was not a serious offense enough to bring them in and asked for an officer from my local police. He came over and took all the information and said he would call me when he got the information I was looking for. I was not frightened but very curious; I wanted to know who it was and how they had gotten my info without my knowledge. The officer called me two days later and said that he would have to go to court and get a legal court order? Before the GTL could give him the info. Sooooo, I am now waiting to see what transpires next.

Of course, I then contacted my charge card company again and they canceled my credit card and credited me with the $400. It is time consuming to have to contact all the companies that I have used for years and now have to change the credit card number. It will certainly keep my awareness sharp as I need to remember to do that every time I pay them. During this day, I kept being amazed at how calm I was and how I did not feel like a victim. My breathing was regular even though every now and them, I would take a deep breath to bring myself back to the present moment during all these negotiations. Today I came across another deeper meaning of breathing. It really hits home and I have felt myself being more and more aware of my breathing and my trust in God. I hope this brings you peace of heart.
