I would like to say WELCOME to some of the latest readers of my newsletter. You are joining quite a select group of people who wish to be aware of the newest inventions and also be amused by the antics of animals and people. You will smile and yet still frown in amazement of what is new and current.

We are on the precipice of having no plastic trash either in our home or in the oceans and lakes. What a boon this invention is in our everyday life. We can have “our cake” and eat it too.

I was shocked to find this website and the effect it has on us humans. My body rejects the fur of our furry friends yet to be able to “hear” and “feel” the purr again with no physical effects is true joy and what a tool this could be.  Try it, you will like it.

NEWS TO SMILE ABOUT

Now is the time of reconstruction after the storm.  Many of us are so discouraged that a hurricane could cause so much damage and devastation.  Humanity does not feel safe and we worry about our future.  It was with great relief that I read the following report on Babcock Ranch in Florida who was unscathed and how they managed to survive such a horrific storm with no casualties, either human or home.  See how they did it and the proof that there is a way to safeguard our planet and ourselves.

A sense of humor from Mother Nature to us humans, a grin worth seeing.

More good news that we thought we would never hear.  Don’t ever give up hope.

This story made me so much more aware of the differences between men and women.  Someone is finally recognizing how men react to being alone and creating an avenue that men can access without feeling less than.

NEW HOPE

My lake has been closed down because of growing algae.  I don’t know what caused it but I know that the Lake Association will be right on top of it.  No matter where you are living in Florida or elsewhere, there appears to be concern over WATER.  These events make us humans more aware of the necessity for clean water and not too much at a time. I, myself, have a deep appreciation for water and hope to remember more often to thank it for its life saving grace and beauty as well as its medicinal values.

When I was little, I remember learning about St. Therese of Lisieux yet I was pleasantly surprised to find this bit of information from a well known priest and lecturer. It reminded me again about the “little way”. We tend to forget that small things are the most important part of any endeavor.
