LET’S CELEBRATE THE NEW BEGINNING – SPRING

How was the First Day of Spring for you? I know the energies were off the charts and we were all being affected. There are still more special days coming so I wanted to include this link. I got it last week after I sent out the newsletter but it is fun to look back and see what happened. At the end of this there is a note about special days ahead so take a peek.

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful and I had the urge to wash my windows. It is not warm enough yet but it “felt” warm with the sun streaming in. I laugh at myself everyday as I look at my new full glass door looking at the lake. Do you know what I see? Nose prints on the glass!!!! I keep forgetting that the glass is there and as I am always trying to see more, I leave an imprint in more ways than one. I have thoroughly enjoyed my new doors throughout the winter. The kitchen one has only a half window but if the sun is out, it comes right in that door. All I need to do is open the inside door and I have a full glass storm door from which I get the sun to sunbathe and then I can see the sun even more. It makes winter more palatable.

It is raining today, after all it is spring. The grackles and robins are enjoying the snow free grass and dirt. For most of my life, I believed like most people that a robin was the first sign of spring. Well, that has proven to be a myth as they stay around the fields where there is food but don’t come to our yards because there is nothing to eat. Today, I saw a first. There were quite a few grackles and one robin who were pecking at the ground. All of a sudden a grackle rushed to the robin and pushed him out of the way and snatched the worm. Perhaps that is why the grackles tolerate the robins as they are such good worm finders.

There is such a wonderful trend going on or perhaps they are just finally letting us know what is happening. These young people today are inventing and creating items for so much less cost and they are sending it to the neediest people on the planet. There are too many to share in this newsletter but I want to give you a taste. It just might have you looking at our young people in a different way, and….it gives us a taste of what is to come.

It is not just young people who are inventive but inventors are everywhere. This is such a great idea that I wish it would spread all over this globe. Not just for keeping our bodies warm but for keeping our hearts warm.

It seems that I am not finding as much humor as I was before but Mother Nature sure has some relaxing and interesting sites to refresh us. I love things that I can share with my family and friends too.

UPLIFTING, INSPIRATIONAL, FUNNY

As I am sitting here waiting for inspiration of what I can share with you, my mind seems to have gone blank. The weatherman said last night that this below 0 degree night should be the last we see this winter. It WASSSS so cold. My storm door that I love to sunbathe in front of has ice on the inside blocking the sun. All of a sudden the sun came out and was shining right on me as I sat at this computer.

All of a sudden, I HAD to go and sit in that so warm sun. I put on one of Panache’s musical inspirational compositions which has such a beat that it makes me want to dance and I do use it that way sometimes. It is great to listen to as I sunbathe and my feet keep moving as I am sitting in the sun. I got my chair and took off my warm sweats so I can more sun on my body. Guess what, the clouds came in so there was no sunbathing today.

It is a good thing because I have two doctor appointments this afternoon and I really wanted to send this newsletter off to you this morning before I have to leave. I am still sitting here wondering what I could write that might be uplifting, inspirational and funny. It has been a quiet week but my older son came yesterday to do some small but very important (to me) things around my home. One very important thing was to help me work my VCR so I can watch the newest video from Spiritual Cinema. This DVD won’t work on my computer either so I am totally confused.

Guess what I learned? Not all DVDs play on both computers and VCRs. They usually only play on one or the other. And…my cables for my VCR were in the output section of my TV so my son fixed that for me and now I know how to watch my VCR, it has been so long since I used it. Times like this is when I feel “old”. There are so many changes to our technology that I can’t keep up with it but I know just enough to know there are many things I DON’T know. I also found out that since my TV is not digital that I can’t use an outside antenna to bring in the local channels. I also found out that TV’s now come with ????? that allow you to connect your computer to the TV and you can scroll the internet while watching it on your TV. I am now going to look aT getting a new TV which is digital. THAT will be another learning experience to figure out how to run these darn technological toys. (Is this the funny thing I wanted to share?????) It can be. It all depends on how you look at IT. As I am rereading this for errors, it is making me laugh at my ignorance and yet my innocence about all this.

Here is a clip that I think might bring a smile to your face. I KNOW my kids don’t really know me or what I am all about. Someday they just might just find out just like these students did. Uplifting!

Who would have thought that our Congress would ever have a speaker such as this. It brings me such hope for our planet when ALL beliefs are recognized as being part of the ONE.

BELOVED VALENTINE

Beloved Valentine of mine, Happy Valentine’s Day. Happy Love Day. Remember to love yourself as much as you love another. Give yourself a gift today that you would like to receive from another. Remember that to give Love, you need to BE LOVE and that begins with you. Fill yourself to overflowing with that Love and it will effortlessly spill out to everyone.

Have you ever wondered about hearing your guides? Who that little voice you hear is?
What or who is your soul? I have always questioned so much of what I have read and heard. Yet I believe what my heart tells me is truth and then, a surprise. As I go deeper and find even more truth, it may just be a different perspective on what I already believe. This life is a journey as we travel deep inside ourselves to experience what we came to feel, to remember who we really are as the veils are removed or thinned. It is a process and sometimes we think it has to be difficult to navigate the roads we are on. In fact, it is very simple but our minds that are used to being in control, can confuse us. If you follow the promptings of your heart, you will travel deeper and deeper into your own self (higher self/soul). It is a journey that you could not possibly have mapped out with the human brain, you mapped it out before you descended to Earth. This video touched me deeply and answered many of my questions in simple language that I could understand. Enjoy.

You would think that at my age, I would know everything about Kissing, wouldn’t you? I have had so much practice. Well, it is amazing what I didn’t know so I wanted to share with you all the benefits of kissing especially since it is the day for kissing.

I came across TWO stories about wasting food. One is where they actually took lunch food away from children who could not afford to pay and they THREW it away. Why did they not allow the children to THROW it in their stomachs? It is hard for me to believe that any volunteer that deals with children could actually do that to a child.

The second story is about a man who uses his WASTE to feed the people who need it. How can we as Americans, let me reprhase that, as humans not find ways to get the food to the people who need it. WE need more people to step up and and SHARE what they have. I am feeling sad about how I feel right now because I am judging humanity. There is sooo much good but still I do not like to judge as at one time I was just as “blind” as much of humanity is now. Let’s wake up our species and BE who we came to Earth to be.

Something that warms my heart is the peace and joy that this woman exemplifies. She does what she can with full trust that there will be more. She is a perfect example of trusting in the God, The source, All that Is,ie….to me she is the epitomy of Valentine’s Day. The deep and true love that I aspire to be. Let her inspire you to LOVE the Whole WORLD with all its imperfections.
