Beloved,
I just can’t get my mind around the fact that there are only three weeks until Christmas. Perhaps it is
because we had the big North’easter just before Halloween which graced us with 18 inches of snow
and 6 days of being without power. I feel like I have already been through winter and am waiting for
Spring to come. I am claiming we have already had our quota of snow for this year. I know one way to feel Christmasy, I am going to the Bird Store tomorrow where the decorations are everywhere but Mother Nature is included. In fact, they are going to have a live hawk, eagle and owl for all of us (I am still a child, you know) to get close to. After seeing the Bald Eagle fly around my lake three times the day after that huge storm, I want to thank him personally for bringing his/her message of Freedom that was sorely needed at that time of feeling very confined.
All of you know that I am known as the Purple Lady, right? I got that name because I always wear different and varying shades of purple. My birth stone is an amethyst which I wear on my forehead. Of course, St. Germaine of the Violet Flame is a famous transformational healer using the violet light as a laser beam which even includes ultra violet light that the medical profession uses for many life healing tests. The simple story is that the color purple makes me feel happy every time I see it or wear it.. We all gravitate
to what makes us feel good, if we don’t, we are not honoring ourselves.
My remote garage door opener that I keep on the visor of my car decided to work only when it felt like it, not when I needed it. It was only 10 months old so I “assumed” that the battery was weak as the other
door opener outside the garage worked just fine. It was very difficult to open and I had to pry it open leaving indentations all along the edge of the opener. I tested the battery and it was good but I still was not trusting myself. Soooo I brought it to Radio Shack to have them test it and they found that the battery was just fine but they could not test the remote itself and they did not sell new ones. I am getting very frustrated hopping in and out of my car every time I leave or come back. I even called on my trusted standby miracle worker, St. Anthony, patron saint of miracles and lost causes but to no avail.
Finally, I called the Sears installer who had put the new motor in my garage door opener and also gave
me the new remote. I don’t know about you, but these last three months have been one challenge after the other and my patience was quite thin by this time. I am usually at peace and KNOW in my heart that there is Divine Timing and everything will eventually work out. But….I still was feeling so much anxiety over my street not being leveled and rocks put down, and my research into what kind of generator to buy and from whom and who to install it, etc., etc., etc. and also my subpump running every 3-5 minutes which is creating havoc on my lawn because they can’t mow it, etc.etc.etc. Sound familiar. We may not have the same scenarios but I am sure the energies are giving you something to stress about besides Christmas.
I felt so overloaded with situations that I could not control but still was having challenges with TRUST and FLOW.
The repairman from Sears called me back and after I explained all I had done to solve this dilemma, I needed a new remote garage starter. After all, it was under guarantee. He told me to go in my garage and
reach where the light was as he could solve this for me. I was a little dubious but agreed. I told him I would have to move my car as I was short and could not reach the light. He laughed and said “just climb on the bumper and you should be able to reach it.” I told him: I am 73 years old besides being short and I
am not going to climb on my car”. He apologized and said: “you sound like you are 35 years old”. I laughed as I have been told many times that my voice sounds like a much younger person. I don’t think he was just trying to butter me up.
I took my cordless phone with the ear plug attached, stuck it in my coat pocket and proceeded to the garage to move my car out. Then I tried my two step ladder but I still wasn’t tall enough so I got the tall step ladder and proceeded to station that below. The repairman kept telling me to take it slow and not do too much. I chuckled as I can move the ladder but I am not as quick as a younger person. Finally, I could reach the light and I was instructed to lower the cover and FIND THE PURPLE BUTTON. I gasped and looked and sure enough I found the purple button. He proceeded to give me instructions like holding the button down for several seconds and then trying to remote. IT WORKED. I was so aghast that I started to laugh quite hard. The thought that all I had to do was FIND THE PURPLE BUTTON was so hilarious that I could not stop laughing.
THE PURPLE BUTTON symbolizes so much for me. Purple makes me calm down and feel happy, the vibration of purple is the second highest vibration on this earth and it is a TRANSFORMER. It can transform all your worries into peace if you just call on it. The purple lady had forgotten to call on St. Germaine, the violet flame for help. DUH! Now, every time I open my garage door, I think “FIND THE PURPLE BUTTON” and it makes me laugh and my situations seem so much lighter. I had received a reprieve from my worryng and not trusting in God, Higher Power, Source or whatever you call the Creator. It was also quite a reminder to stay focused on the fact that I am always protected and guided if I just slow my mind down enough to connect to the truth.
Talking about the Sears Repairman made me think that perhaps you don’t know how much Sears is doing for our troops so I am including it here.
Sears – Christmas shopping this year.
I know I needed this reminder, since Sears isn’t always my first choice. It’s amazing when you think of how long the war has lasted and Sears hasn’t withdrawn from their commitment. Could we each buy at least one thing at Sears this year?
How does Sears treat its employees who are called up for military duty? By law, they are required to hold their jobs open and available, but nothing more. Usually, people take a big pay cut and lose benefits as a result of being called up for active duty.
Sears is voluntarily paying the difference in salaries and maintaining all benefits, including medical insurance and bonus programs, for all called up reservist employees for up to two years.
I submit that Sears is an exemplary corporate citizen and should be recognized for its contribution. I suggest we all shop at Sears at least once, and be sure to find a manager to tell them why we are there so the company gets the positive reinforcement & feedback it well deserves.
Pass it on.
I decided to check this before I sent it forward. So I sent the following e-mail to the Sears Customer Service Department:
I received this e-mail and I would like to know if it is true. If it is, the internet may have just become one very good source of advertisement for your company. I know I would go out of my way to buy products from Sears instead of another store for a like item, even if it’s cheaper at that store.
This is their answer to my e-mail:
Dear Customer:
Thank you for contacting Sears. The information is factual. We appreciate your positive feedback.
Sears regards service to our country as one of greatest sacrifices our young men and women can make. We are happy to do our part to lessen the burden they bear at this time.

Please pass this on to all your friends. Sears needs to be recognized for this outstanding contribution and we need to show them as Americans, we do appreciate what they are doing for our military!!!

May your holiday shopping include at least one item from Sears and remember the NEW TRADITION of 2011 is to purchase gifts from local people and from the UNITED STATES which stands of us (US). Better yet, let us gift from our hearts with hugs and perhaps something you have created yourself.
REMEMBER TO PUSH THE PURPLE BUTTON and smile.
