Beloved,
We have had snow, the first since the Northeaster that
graced us in October, 2011. My mom used to always say
that this last snow is the Poor Man’s Fertilizer because
it prepares the earth. She is of Native American descent
and this snow is the first and also the last of our winter.
Several of my readers wanted to hear more about my adventures
on board the cruise. I met such beautiful and wonderful people.
All of the people who served us have to sign a 9 month contract
and they live on board for the whole time. I spoke to mothers
who have left their children even infants in the care of their
grandparents so they could work on ship in order to have
a start for getting a better life for their children. How hard it must
be to leave your children, I cannot imagine myself doing it
but parental love is quite strong and as parents, you do all
you can to help your children.
I saw ALL and I mean ALL including management, even the
Maitre’ D’s pitch in to clear tables, set them up, help in any
way they can so we could have the best service there is.
There is no competition as all are pitching in wherever they
see a need. What a model they are for us who think we
need to beat the competition and think only of our own
advancement. They were an inspiring team to watch.
I saw some fabulous shows which included acrobats that
did aerial stunts I have never seen before and a hypnotist who
had such integrity that although she gave us a lot of laughter,
she never ridiculed the ones she hypnotized and it was done
with respect for each person. She even hypnotized 2 people
who thought they were martians and had another person be
the interpreter. It was so funny to hear the so called gibberish
each was speaking and what the interpreter gave us for an
explanation. All the humor was in good taste and no one
felt foolish about what they did or said afterwards.
The hypnotist, Nadeen Manuel from Canada,

that couldn’t be refused. She offered a flash drive for only
$97 which contained all the work and hypnotic suggestions
she has developed over the years. The best part…..we could
copy the material and share it with whoever we wished. Do
you know of any other business person who would almost
give away their life’s work just to help others? I was so
impressed with her honesty and integrity. I watched her
stay an hour after her 3 shows just to help people who were
really struggling with their pain whether it was emotional or
physical. All physical pain is caused by the body holding on
to an emotional event in their life. She was able to help some
with their dreams, their inability to sleep, to give up their
drug of choice whether it was food, drink, addictions, etc.
Nadeen also offered a hypnotic session for way below the
normal cost so I took her up on it. I am ready to release all
the “pain”, “resistance” and “emotion” that my body held onto
for me when I could not deal with it. MCS, multiple chemical
sensitivity reared its head in me about 30 years ago and my
freedom has been severely restricted as I need to avoid all
scents, perfumes, and chemicals in all of its forms. I cannot
visit most people because either they smoke, have animals,
use scented candles or use air fresheners, etc. I cannot go
in their cars and I need to not breathe as I hug them although
the scents get on my clothes which I cannot get away from.
Traveling is very difficult, my roommate even gave up her
hairspray because it was affecting me. I went to a funeral one
time and I had to move three times in the church just to avoid
perfumes. I am ready to give that up and be FREE. The
hypnosis appears to have worked but I am still testing it
out a little at a time. My home is scent free and I feel my
real test will come next week when I have to have anesthesia
for a minor surgical procedure. The last surgery I had, I
did not receive the correct anesthesia and I suffered such
a deep depression for 3 months all due to chemicals.
I know my son still struggles with smoking so I bought the
flash drive so I can share it with him and hopefully give him
the freedom from that addiction. I am still in awe that she
gave all of us permission to share what we purchased.
It was her last cruise as an entertaining hypnotist and she
will be starting another phase of her life because she so
wants to help people be free. It is her passion and she
is ready to take the next step on her path to her destiny.
I have not received the flash drive yet but intend to use
it for other blockages I am ready to give up.
Can you tell that I was most impressed by the people
who shared the cruise with me? I love people and each
is so unique with their own talents. I love getting to know
other cultures and we were served by many cultures from
the poorer countries.
There happened to be two priests traveling and they offered
to say Mass for the people on board. Since I need to be
gluten free and cannot take the Host, I asked if I could share
in their wine as long as they did not put a piece of the
Eucharist in it as some priests do. The younger priest
smiled and said he would remind the older one not to
do that so I could receive Communion. They needed
a lector so I volunteered. Everywhere I went after that,
people would stop me and thank me for doing such a
great job. It is one way to meet a lot of nice people.

went right to my heart. I was then compelled to

to each and every one of us. It’s not mutually
exclusive to cancer. These simple words are
life changing if we will allow them to authentically
register with us.

She had dinner with her friend, a breast cancer
survivor. Here is that woman’s message to everyone.
I’m passing it along, because I think it has real value
for everyone who wants to live an authentic life.
My message to anyone dealing with physical illness
is: Love yourself unconditionally! Regardless of
what illness you have, or treatments you choose,
whether natural, holistic, or conventional, the most
important thing is to choose to treat your condition
from love, rather than fear! Always see yourself as
whole and well. Watch your emotions, and always
make choices based on your love for your life and
health, rather than to react from fear! Choose actions
that lovingly move you towards wholeness and health,
rather than actions taken out of fear to move you away
from illness.
We seem to believe that we constantly have to work
on ourselves to improve ourselves and become
“better.” But the question is, better by whose standards?
I spent a lifetime trying to live up to other people’s
unrealistic standards of how I “should” be – and all
it did was cause me cancer, because I constantly
believed that I wasn’t good enough. In truth, all we
have to do is BE OURSELVES!
We don’t realize that we are actually perfect just
the way we are. We are born perfect, but spend a
lifetime trying to be something we are not, and
then feel inadequate for failing. Your only purpose
is to be yourself, otherwise you will deprive the
Universe of Who You Truly Are.
