FEBRUARY DANCES WITH MARCH

Well, the Winds of Change are at again. As I sat in contemplation this morning, I was looking at my back yard and the lake. Although this has been a brutal winter, there is beauty to be found. I was admiring the snow drifts, the way the winds change the whole outline of my back yard and also the lake. The snowman that someone had built out on the lake proved no match for the wind last night and it is laying down out there now. My yard has peaks and gulley, some places are much higher than my fence and some places have only a smattering of snow. As I took the time to look at my special and only tree, I noticed the winds had placed a tall ring of snow around the trunk. There is no snow touching the tree as the winds have placed a tall circular barrier around its trunk with only the air from above allowed in. I finally looked at the tree itself and shook my head in amazement. I rubbed my eyes and kept looking at all the branches on it. The Tips of the branches have a red tint instead of the dull brown that it had before. Doesn’t the tree know that Spring is not here yet? The branches look like they are ready to bud and I am still in awe at what I see.

Two weeks ago (when I ventured outside) I heard birds singing: strong vocal singing, not just chirping. I did allow myself to stand there and enjoy the sounds before it got too cold for me. I went to my bird store to find out which sort of bird was singing but she could not help me. My golden finches are starting to get more gold in their feathers (the males lose their gold in the fall and it comes back in the Spring) . The signs of Spring are here but I am not believing them. It is contrary to what I feel (the cold) and my human mind just cannot surrender to that truth while my body denies its validity. The usual first sign of spring I get is the return of the turkey buzzards who are our bird friends who clean up all the debris from the winter. They are our garbage collectors who are the most graceful birds in flight with their wide wing span.

All of a sudden, it hit me like a ton of bricks. We are having March in February. You have heard about the March winds? Each month signifies something and March used to be the month of winds. Our climate is changing so much that the single definition of each month is no longer viable. We are having the February snows along with the winds of March. No wonder it is has been so volatile. I will now concede that it is possible that we will have an early Spring. Birds and trees know a lot more than we mere mortals do and I will confirm my belief that Spring is on its way and sooner than later. And….I call them the Winds of Change for a very good reason…there are many changes in the wind and we humans can either go with the flow or strive to combat them. Which will you choose?

The Stillness of space by Eckhart Tolle beautifully explains what is happening in winter or any other type of adverse weather or even a situation.

I received this daily inspiration from Christine Kloser which speaks of grace. As Grace is my last name, I resonate in my heart to this beautiful reminder that everyone is Grace. “By the Grace of God go I.” means to me that the Grace of Everyone is why my world is full of grace. A FAVOR TO ASK

Boy, this newsletter is much later than normal. It has been a very busy but educational two weeks. I joined the 4th Annual Transformational author Experience by Christine Kloser which held two classes a day for 4 days with 3 classes on Friday with all different speakers. Panache Desai did one which I listened to 3 times, it was that good. This experience gave us the nuts and bolts of writing, publishing and marketing but it gave us something a lot more. INSPIRATION! All of the speakers came from their hearts and not just from their heads. So much info and energy that my mind is still reeling and I know it will take time for a lot of it to sink in. And….I am an author. I self-published a book, The Wounded Chalice, 6 years ago. It is a transformational book with the maze of my life experiences and the way I found strength by listening to my intuition and guidance from above. I know many of you have purchased my book and I have a favor to ask. I have a friend who is going to help me republish my book and he suggested that I ask all who read my book if they would go to Amazon.com and leave a testimonial. If you could do that, it would be a big help. I am stepping out on a limb to do this but I still believe that Mother Mary did not ask me to write this book for nothing. I was told that it would inspire many women to love themselves.

This morning, when I usually write this newsletter, two friends and I went to visit a friend who is on the hospital about an hour and a half away. I got home 15 minutes after the class began but that was still good timing. This friend of ours has not seen a doctor in YEARS. She had been out of work for over a week and finally when she could no longer walk, she finally conceded to go to the hospital. She was there for 4 days when they switched her to a larger hospital where more tests could be done. We don’t know the results yet but she has infections in the bladder, urinary tract, kidney and liver. She is one sick puppy. She probably started with one infection but with no care, it just kept spreading. It saddens me deeply to see someone who has given so much to others, was too scared to give the same care to herself. I am telling you this only to remind you to love yourself as much as you do others. You are important to many people and to the world, please care for yourself.

You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.

A 12-year old called Akiane was born in 1994. Her paintings of Heaven are amazing. It makes one pause, and reflect!

If you read the book “Heaven is for Real”, Akiane is the little girl who was talked about in the book re. her rendition of Jesus Christ. Every time Colton ( the little boy in the book) saw a picture of Christ, his folks would ask him if the pictures he saw actually looked like Christ. He would always say no until he saw Akiane’s picture of Christ, then he said “This is what Christ looks like. After you scroll through her artwork there is a video at the end. AWESOME BLESSINGS

How are you doing with your Christmas plans? It certainly is a very busy time of the year yet I wish you to give yourself a gift…a gift of time to breathe and go within. Fill yourself first and then your love will just spill over like one more drop of water in a glass that is full of water. It will be effortless and you will so enjoy sharing your love with everyone.

I miss the 20 minute meditations that Oprah and Deepak Chopra provided in their 21 Days of Meditation. Would you believe that I even got a sunburn on my chest as I sat in the sun while I was listening to their meditations? Of course, I must admit that the sun had been out for three days in a row so it cumulative. With my new full glass doors that do not have that film to prevent the sun from bleaching your possessions, the sun is clear and much warmer than what comes in my regular windows. I had to order them special and, of course, pay more but it was worth it. I still have not settled in my mind why what used to be “normal” costs so much more now than the altered product. I guess glass is like food, we have to pay more for the “real” thing in order to promote the use of “artificial” products??????

I came across a woman named Dr. Lissa Rankin and she is all about self healing which she speaks about from her own experience as well as from her doctorate in medical healing. It was so interesting so I downloaded her FREE self-healing kit and I am so impressed. I also did her 20 minute meditation which touched me with its truth. I now have another 20 minute meditation that I intend doing each day sun or no sun. Take a peek and see if it makes as much sense to you as it does to me.

I realize that this next article is about Thanksgiving but it touched my heart so to realize just what the significance of the comet ISON really was. I was not aware but am so grateful to know the inspiration and help that the Universe is providing for us . Check it out!

When I was going through my dark night of the soul for five years, I used to actually cry and beg God to take me home. I would ask: “Why oh why did you just drop me off on this planet where there is so much hurt and heartbreak”? I never felt like I fit in even with my own family. I could not fathom being actually physically born on earth even though I loved my mother dearly. She was the only human person who ever loved me unconditionally and I can still make that claim today. I really did actually feel and I could see myself as a waif who was just dropped off and my parents must have found me and brought me home with them.

One day as I was doing my daily prayers( supplications), and asking to be taken off this planet, I heard: “Mary, you have it backwards!. You are not leaving here to go to heaven, you came to bring…HEAVEN…. to Earth”. Suddenly, it all made sense. I stopped asking to be taken and started to ask for guidance on how to bring Heaven here. Your lungs will generate approximately 25,000 life-giving breaths in the next 24 hours. There are estimated to be 300 sextillion stars in the Universe – and, only ONE magnificent YOU!
