WE WEATHER THE STORMS AS ONE COUNTRY

How did you fare the storm? Hurricane Sandy gave the Eastern US a
real hard punch especially in places like NJ that never experience a
hurricane. I hope this newsletter finds you and your beloveds in a
safe, warm and loving space.

My power was off for five hours but the generator that I had spent
9 months (like a pregnancy) deciding how powerful a one to get and
what kind, kicked in so quietly that it was barely noticeable. I
was giddy with glee. After surviving 2011 with its devastating 4
huge disasters, I was in heaven. I felt so safe and secure knowing
that with electricity, my sump pump would continue to take care of
any water problems and my cellar(crawl space) was secure. There
were problems with the TV reception and also my modem for the
web but all in all, it was quite uneventful which I was extremely
grateful for. The power came back on at 10PM so I went to bed feeling
calm.

I woke in the morning to my sump pump alarm going off which meant
that there was water in my basement. Oh shoot! I tried for an hour
to figure out why my pump wasn’t working, I unplugged all the plugs,
checked for power, etc. I finally called the company who installed
it and the manager told me someone would be out by 2PM to assess the
situation. In the meantime, water was still coming in but not in
torrent that most storms bring. At 2:15PM, I got a call from the
manager and he said he could get a service man out to me but he was
coming instead. I was so grateful that he would do that for me,
after all it was not his “job”. He arrived and discovered that I
need a new pump to the tune of $450 and it was only 2 years old.
I guess that it really has had to work hard especially last year
as the water table was really high and it did not get much rest.

I feel so humble after seeing all the devastation that was shown on
TV. I simply lost a pump which was replaced quickly and now my
basement is drying out with the help of a dehumidifier SaniDry. I
received this notice from Mitch Battros who I subscribe to for
the warnings that he gives about sun spots and how they predict
the weather we are going to have. Here is a sample of who he is
and what he offers. It certainly explains why the Earth is having

Another great article this time from Jean Houston. I hope you are
not sick of hearing about Earth Changes or disasters that affect
Mother Earth. This article gave me a lot of food for thought as well
as confidence in the future. I have often admired trees and even
thanked them for how they care for us in so many ways, with shade,
with nuts and fruits, with wood for our fires, etc. But…..I never
ever gave a thought of how they also give of their very selves in
a storm.

Compassion During the Storm

Dear Friends,

A good friend of mine, the Zen Priest and poet Bonnie Myotai Treace,
just wrote to me a few lines of sorrow over the trees that will soon
be falling.

“I grieve the end of orange leaves. The soon beating death of trees
so many, cracked and broken, pulled from earth, struck and whipt by
wind: trees that will not be mentioned with love, just blamed for
downed lines, troubled lives. My people, they will be breaking,
falling, dying. I sing their lives. Stronger than silk, milk,
midnight. Deeper than shadows, intimations, rootedness itself. The
taffeta sound of their falling is my grief endlessly landing falling again then landing again endlessly…”

May we regain both strength and compassion to serve each other, the
resilience to restore and recreate after it is over, and, most deeply,
the return of wonder, of gratitude, and a commitment to remember
our ultimate truth-that we are after all-the One in the Many and
the Many in the One.

I was mesmerized as I listened to the voices of the rescuers. No one
person could have rescued these people. It took the whole team.
While the pilot held the helicopter right where it needed to be per
the instructions he/she was receiving (I heard a female voice also)
the “swimmer” as the rescuer was called was being directed where he
needed to be to put the people in the “basket” to be brought up to
safety, the man in the open door was guiding the basket as it
swung to and fro because of the high winds of the hurricane. I was
so inspired by the willingness, courage and strength it took from
each individual. I am sure there were others involved but it brought
to my mind, the election that we as a country are facing in a few
days.

I see the President of the United States as the pilot and the
others as our Senators and Representatives and all the political
people right down to our towns and cities which are all needed to
rescue us when there is a disaster and to keep practicing their
skills so they are prepared when needed. Please choose wisely when
you vote on Tuesday. Vote for the people who you know put you above
their own needs like Obama did when the disaster hit. We need a team
to run this country and we need to be part of this team. Let us do
our part for our country by listening to our hearts and taking the
few minutes it takes to vote. Our ancestors lost their lives so
we would have the Freedom to Vote. We are not asked to give our
lives except for our Miltary Services who deserve to be honored
by respecting their devotion and willingness to die so that we
may vote to keep our country safe for ALL. Lets at least give
two minutes of our time to mark our ballots.

ARE YOU A MESSENGER?

What an unusual day today has been. I do not need to do my TV Show
today because my camera person and the manager of the Studio will
not be there. It feels funny as usually Friday I create the newsletter
to send to you and then I dive into creating my TV Show which
encompasses pulling together all the things I have gathered during
the week and then writing my own script so it just flows smoothly
and effortlessly seemingly. Although I am open to what happens, as
as much as I prepare,sometimes things happen in a different manner

It felt like I had so much time to write you that time just got away
from me. My small town is celebrating its 250th Anniversary so it
will be a week’s worth of celebration beginning tomorrow morning
with a huge parade and my street will be closed for 3 hours which
means I need to leave early to be able to see the parade So…
I decided to make my home yogurt today instead of tomorrow which also
meant I had to do the dishes.

Then I felt sooo sleepy so I took a short nap and when I woke up
I was hungry so decided to take myself to that new restaurant I told
you about two weeks ago and I had gluten free corn chowder and gluten
free fried mozzarella sticks. Boy, was that good. There was another
woman who has Celiac in the restaurant and was trying to figure out
what to order. Like me she wants to try ALL the gluten free offerings.
When I got my fried mozzarella sticks I offered some to her and when
she got her eggplant parmigiana, she shared some with me. I apologize
if I am rambling, like I said, it is a strange day. I did things
today that are such a treat for me that I don’t usually get to do.
Try it you will like it, be good to yourself too.

Just like how we share what we loved with each other, I want to share
some things I love with you. Oh! I also read an email sent by
Patricia Cota-Robles and listened to Messenger Revolution by Darius M
Barrius this morning. There are remarkable opportunities available
to us to help ourselves vibrate a higher frequency and also help
bring that vibration to the whole world. Tomorrow starts a cycle
of energy that we can join and participate in right from our own

changing the course of history.

Your I AM Presence has magnetized this information into your sphere

Light you are adding to the world are necessary for us to succeed God
Victoriously.

A plan has been set into motion that will draw the focus of
Humanity’s attention which will in turn create a collective cup of

through which the Light of God will flow to Birth a New Renaissance of
Divine Love for Humanity and ALL Life evolving on this sweet Earth. The
vehicle that will be used for this global activity of Light is the 26th
Annual World Congress on Illumination. This event will take place during
the 25th Anniversary of Harmonic Convergence August 11-16, 2012, on the
sacred isle of Kauai, in Hawaii. This is a global event and we will
all be in our right and perfect place on the planet to fulfill our
individual missions for this event.

YOUR PART IN THIS DIVINE PLAN

During that sacred week, people in attendance will join in
consciousness with Lightworkers tuning in from around the world, and
together we will form a Chalice of Light that will envelop the entire
Planet Earth. The collective cup of our consciousness will form the Open
Door through which powerful 5th-Dimensional Frequencies of Crystalline
Solar Light from our Father-Mother God will flow to Birth a Renaissance
of Divine Love. This influx of Light will lift the energy, vibration,

CONSIDERING OTHERS ON THE FOURTH OF JULY

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY !!!

It hardly seems possible that it is here already. Where does
the time go? This particular holiday raises opposite feelings
in me. You know how I love the Baltimore Orioles and they
are here only for three short months. They come only to mate
and have their babies and then they are on their way back home.

I saw my first young Oriole this morning. It sure raised mixed
feelings in me. I don’t get to see them as fledglings since their
nests are high in the trees so I only see them once they have
experienced their solo flights and then the parents bring them
to teach them where the grape jelly is. I have tried sugar water,
and oranges and although they tolerate it they much prefer grape
jelly.

Feeding them grape jelly does present a challenge, especially when
it rains which washes the jelly away in the downpour. Picture me
trying to give them the jelly in between raindrops. A couple of days
ago, I had to go out and feed them 6 times. I don’t give them much
at a time when it rains so it requires many trips. The image of the
babies chirping with their mouths open for food is the impetus for
me to do this. Are you smiling yet at the picture?

This morning as it was going to downpour any moment, the parents
were in a rush to get them fed. Sometimes there were 4 adult Orioles
at a time at the feeder. Just because I saw one very young Oriole
doesn’t mean that all are out of the nest. There are still parents
gathering the jelly as it hangs from their beaks so they can feed
the ones who haven’t soloed yet.

In a few days, the parents will start to wean their young ones off
the grape jelly and teach them how to get the bugs and other
food sources so they will be ready for their long trip home. There
are no jelly stops on the way so they need to be prepared.

There is another side of living on a lake when it comes to July 4th.
It is not only one night that we have fireworks it is usually at least
3 – 4 nights, especially this year with the holiday falling right in the
middle of the week. It seems there is a competition among the
people around the lake as they take turns shooting them off even
on different days. It only takes one person to keep the whole
neighborhood awake with the fireworks display. They don’t seem
to realize or care that there are some neighbors who have young
children or the elderly who retire early in the evening. There are
nights that the loud noise goes on beyond 11PM.

One night would be sufficient and no one would complain but
there is always one person(there is always one, isn’t there) who
seems to feel the need to do this regardless of other people’s
preferences. If you live in the city then there is one gathering
place where these huge fireworks are shot off so it does not
affect everyone who does not choose to experience it and it
is only one night.

Another aspect is not considered, the animals. The animals
rely on their hearing for protection and this loud noise really
upsets their hearing and their well being. The Orioles usually
leave after all the noise as they cannot stay in their nests at
night because the nests are not far enough away from the
loud bangs which really affects them. Once the young birds
can fly, they no longer need their nests so the parents take
them far away to a source of quiet and they have no need to
come back as the jelly is not as important because now
they have other resources for their young.

That means the number of visits to my feeders will come
to a slow halt. This is why I also feel sad on the Fourth
of July as I know it will be a whole year before I get
to appreciate their beauty and songs again. It is bittersweet.

I want you to feel happy about the holiday but I wanted to
give you another aspect of the day and also of living on a lake.

was quite thought provoking but also gave me a totally
different perspective on trying to be perfect. Have you ever
