A LETTER OF LOVE

Beloved,

I call you Beloved because you are BELOVED by me. I want
to express my gratitude to you for being a recipient of my newsletter
list and allowing me to share with you a small part of my life. I so
enjoy sharing the news that I discover and also the new things I have
become aware of. By allowing me into your life even if it is only
for a moment, you bestow upon me a great gift. A gift is truly
only a gift if it is accepted and you do that with such loving
acceptance.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

Begin the day by loving yourself and then spread it around. There
are so many forms of love and they are all equally important. There
is the love for your mate, for your children, for your parents, for your
friends, for your pets and also your Creator. There is no law that says
you cannot love yourself, in fact, you need to begin by filling yourself
with that LOVE so you will have an abundance to give away. This is
a day to celebrate LOVE and not just a day for romantic love. Even
if you do not have a mate or partner, just think of all the people who
love you including the many spiritual beings who are always with you.

Here is how Valentine’s Day started, it is quite interesting .

February 14th has always been held as the sacred day to celebrate

love. How did we come to this tradition?

History of Valentines

In ancient Rome the 14th of February was a celebration honoring
Juno, Queen of the Roman Gods and Goddesses. This is the
equivalent of celebrating the Divine Mother or Divine Feminine
energy. The following day the Lupercian Festival was held in
honor of the God of Fertility. During these festivities young
men would choose the name of a single young woman from
a jar and would spend not only the festival time, but the
following year courting her. This often resulted in marriage.

When Claudius II became Emperor, however, all that changed.
Having difficulty recruiting young men as soldiers, he
determined they were unwilling to leave their sweethearts.
All engagements and marriages were canceled. Nonetheless,
a Catholic Bishop named Valentine, who understood the true
nature of love, began secretly marrying young couples. He
paid for his treasonous act with his life. The church later
renamed the celebration of the Divine Mother and it became
known as St. Valentine’s day.

I retell this story to point out the origin, which was based
entirely upon the union of the Divine Feminine and the
Divine Masculine in celebration of fertility and the
continued expression of love in new form. This rite of
union has been celebrated under different names in every
tradition world-wide. Whether one is honoring what
Valentine stood for, Juno, Beltane or the myriad other
rites, they each stand for this sacred union.

There is another wonderful thing going on today. A reason to be
here on Earth. If you do not make the world sound at noon today, j
just join in at anytime today that you are able and you will be joining
with multitudes around the world. Whenever you join in, it will be
noon somewhere and you will not be alone. Enjoy.

World Sound Healing Day: The Sound Heard Around the World.
Every February 14th, people throughout the planet join
together with their intentionalized sound to project a sonic
valentine of love & appreciation to Gaia, our Earth Mother.
We tone the heart sound “Ah” for a minimum of 5 minutes, and
of course longer if your schedule permits. Often people will
gather groups together and facilitate this toning experience
in their respective communities. If possible, we ask that
you take at least 5 minutes to tone at 12 noon Eastern time,
and as always, we encourage the sounding of the “Ah” by
yourself or with a group at any time during the course of
the day.

activists and lovers of all humanity and sentient

SIMPLE WAY TO REPROGRAM YOUR BELIEFS

What an interesting week this has been. I was not
personally aware of what it would be like to live in
Alaska or even Russia with mountains of snow. I
know so much more now. Of course, more snow
storms came, in fact there is another one due today.

I have lived here in Wales for 14 years and in the
Northeast for (should I say?) 73 years so I feel like
an expert on everything Mother Nature has to offer.

One thing I discovered is that it depends on
your age when these weather abnormalities occur.
As a child, I enjoyed all the snow and also the heat of
summer with all the thunderstorms, they had no effect
on me as I was not responsible for anything they
might cause. As an adult with a home of your own,
it is a whole different ballgame.

Many roofs are crashing because of the snow so
the wise thing to do is to clear your roof of any
accumulation. The two young men (my human
angels) who take care of my lawn and my snow
removal needs came over last weekend to clear my
roof. The 7 feet of snow was so compacted that
the roof rake was not strong enough to pull it off.
They had to climb on my roof and shovel it off.
The weight was so heavy and with ice up there also
they had no solid foundation for their feet. I was
grateful there were two of them as it would have
been too much for just one person. They were able
to use the roof rake on my garage so my purchase
was not in vain.

Our town is having a real hard time getting all this snow
removed so the streets could be widened. Our streets
are more like one way streets with people going both
ways. On my way to the dump (it is called the tranfer
station now), I was amazed to see that I could not see
the lake from the street. There were mountains of chunky
snow in the way of my view. We have been used to smooth
mountains of snow but this looked like a giant with teeth
took bites out of the smooth snow. It actually was comical
to see all the gaps in the snow.

I couldn’t figure out what had happened but our main street was
now wide enough for two cars. As I turned onto my street
on the way back I noticed a small front loader in my way.
He was the giant that was taking bites out of the mountains.
He would take a bite and then raise up his mouth full of snow
and place it on top of the pile. It was amazing to watch how
he did this and he could turn on a dime to put it anywhere he
chose.

It did not have the logo of our town so it had to be a private
person doing this. What surprised me even more was that
he was doing our street which is a private way that the
town does not plow. Residents of a private way are
responsible for all the upkeep and maintenance of their
street. I was so grateful to the angels for sending him to
us. My thought is that not being a towner, he was not
aware that this is private street so he just kept on doing
all the streets. I think our town must have had to call in
private contractors because our small town crew could
not handle the 8 feet and more snow that we received.

Now my paper tube on the main street is clear for my
newspaper delivery person to put the paper in. Last
week I walked up my street (mail and newspapers
cannot be delivered on a private street) and was
so grateful that the angels had guided me to bring
my “grabber” with me. My paper tube had been
surrounded with several mountains of snow so I
did not know what to expect. I am glad I had it
because even though the grabber gives me an
additional two and half feet of arm length, I still
had to step both feet in about 3 feet of snow to
get the Sunday newspaper.

The sun came out this morning and it snowed
the large flakes for a while. It was so pretty
to see them falling ever so slowly and still have
the sun. My oldest son, Steve, came over
last Sunday after the boys had cleared my
roof to help create a few pathways. The
snow from the roof blocked my bird feeders
so he shoveled to them and took them down
so I could fill them up again. Boy, are those
birds happy he did that for them. I had been
able to only throw handfuls of seed on the snow
for them and my favorite birds, the golden finch
are not ground feeders so it was not easy for them.
He was able to get to the suet feeder so now the
woodpeckers are quite happy too.

With all this time on my hands and being in
hibernation, I have been listening to more talks.
Two that are being given by very knowledgeable
people like Jack Canfield, author of the Law of
Attraction and also Bruce Lipton who is a cellular
biologist.

Have you ever heard of EFT or Tapping as it is
sometimes called. I have heard of it from many
different people but these two men have explained
it in a way that I understood. So much has
come out about the benefits and how such
a simple method can reprogram the programs
that are still in us although we try so hard to
overcome a limitation through such practices
as positive thinking, or affirmations and then wonder
why we are still failing to surmount those stubborn
challenges.

AFTER ALL, WE ARE NEW ENGLANDERS

By now, I am sure you have heard about the snow event(S)
in the Northeast and perhaps you are experiencing much
the same of what I am. I have discovered that although
records are being set for the amount of snow and the
duration of the cold, my little town of Wales goes above
and beyond of what is being broadcast.

I live on a mountain which always gets more accumulation
simply because it is higher up. Being on a lake also increases
the depths of the snow in my yard because the wind across the
lake creates a mini whirlwind around my house so I can see
grass in one part of my yard and yet the drifts of snow are up
to my bird feeders near my house.

I have had two and half more “feet” of snow since I wrote you
last week and that was from two storms. We have had a total
of about 6-7 feet in just this month. Although the two young
men who do my plowing had the foresight to start the winter
by pushing the snow much further back onto my lawn from my
driveway, it has been so bad that they could not use the plow
last night because there was no place to put the snow. They
had to use the snow blower which thankfully was a strong
enough one to be able to deposit the snow on top of the
mountains of snow lining my driveway. This method really
slows them down and they have had to use it on all of the
areas that they plow including the huge ones.

I cannot make it to my bushes which are being flattened by the
weight of the last two storms, I have managed to clear them
from the other storms though. I do not have a path to my bird
feeders so I decided to try to attach a spare feeder by using
a “grabber”. In a way it was funny, I managed to hook the
grabber on a hook but no way could I get the feeder on the
hook. I finally had to put one of my legs in the snow up
to my stomach in order to attach it. That was before the
last two storms so I don’t know how I will feed them from
now on. I am sure the angels will come up with some sort
of a new idea so I can help our wildlife through this winter.

Yesterday, I had quite an experience. I was on the phone
with my youngest son when I heard a loud noise that I cannot
put a description to. I went to the kitchen window and saw snow
being driven by a force I had never seen before. I am used to
wind but this was much, much stronger than any wind I had ever
experienced. It was even stronger than a gale force and my first
thought was that I was in a tornado. Suddenly it cleared and I
looked out to see that the club house building was down. It is
larger than my house and the whole roof caved in and when it
did, it blew out three sides of the building with the force of the
expulsion. Wow!!! Wow!!! Wow!!!

Evidently, the snow on the roof got to be too heavy. I could not
even poke my head out of my door to see because the snow had
blocked my door. I called the president and vicepresident of the
club but evidently all my neighbors had heard the noise so they
were rushing outside to see what happened. Of course, I could
not see all that activity. The fire department showed up and since
our street was not even plowed yet, we live on a private road that
does not get plowed by the town, they had to bring in a front loader
to move the snow on the other side of the building to make sure that
some propane gas cylinders in the clubhouse were not leaking. No
one can go in the building because most of it is flat and it is definitely
unsafe to rummage around in. They checked and there was no gas
leaking, thank God, I live right next to it so a spark could sent me
for a ride on a rocket. The electric department had to shut off the
electricity from the street because there was no other way to be safe.

This was at 11:30AM and I was plowed out at 6:30PM, too dark
to see anything. The big truck that plows our street got stuck in the
snow so what chance would a normal vehicle have. I went out this
morning and OH MY what a disaster. I checked my roof and the
snow was piled quite high, much higher than most of my neighbors.

Would you say, that I was given a warning? At least, I acknowledged
the possibility that the angels were giving me a message to get my
roof cleared. I know that is all we are being told on TV, so many
people are getting leaks in their roofs from all the ice and then
the snow on top. There is no building without icicles and that is
where the danger lies.

I had a doctors appointment about three quarters of an hour away so
I left real early this morning and stopped at every hardware store or any
place that might carry a roof rake. Everyone was sold out and even their
suppliers had no more. I kept trying though, something kept telling me that
I would find one. As I got to my destination, I ran into an ACE hardware
store and asked. I was told they were getting a delivery of roof rakes in
an hour. They took my name and said they would save one for me. An hour
later I went back and all 50 of them had been spoken for. I am so grateful
that I listened to my angel, the little voice, that prompted me to keep looking.

I contacted my two young men and they will use the roof rake and clear my
roof for me either tomorrow or Sunday. While they are plowing through
the snow, I will ask them to clear my bushes and also the outdoor buildings
that are next to my house. These buildings only have two and a half feet
of snow on them where my house has 6 -7 feet in places.

Something like this is good reminder that I am always taken care of and
not to worry so much. God sends his human angels to help me when I
cannot do it myself. He sent another one to me in the form of a new man
who plows our street. I have been praying for a handyman and guess what,
he is one? He will be coming to check out the light over my bathroom sink
that has not worked for 6 weeks. I chuckle as I am grateful that I am not
a man who needs to shave because he would not be able to see. It will be
good to have my electrical outlets back in working order again in that room.

So you see, good comes out of tough situations. There is some good that
happened this past week. I got up one morning and could see two blobs on
the lake. I saw one get up and it looked like a fox so I went to get my trusty
binoculars. They allow me to see across the lake but not with the clarity that
I would get close up. One was definitely a fox but the other looked like a blob,
I could not make out a particular shape. Finally one fox trotted over to the blob,
sniffed and then went trotting off the lake. I kept watching the blob being
concerned that whatever it was was either dead or hurt. It did not move for
about 15 minutes when suddenly it rose up and trotted off to where the other
fox had gone. It must have been resting all curled up with its head in its tail
which it likes to do. In 14 years, I have never seen a fox on the lake so it
was thrilling to see. As I was coming back from the Post Office, I saw the
two of them playing around near a campground. Usually foxes keep
to themselves and don’t show themselves to humans but I got two treats
that day and I got to see them closer the second time.
