SUNLIGHT AND A BLESSED HALLOWEEN

Well, we really had a hard frost last night. My grass which is green
had turned all white from the frost. Brrr. Yet, it makes me really
appreciate the sun. Since I made sure my new doors and storm door
were free of any tinting, the sun coming in when I open my regular
door is so warm. Warm enough in fact, that yesterday morning I laid
in front of the door and was able to go sunbathing. It felt so good.

This is the first home where I have a kitchen I love. The sun comes
in every day through the window over the sink and then
I open my inside door and the sun shines into the kitchen for at
least 3-4 hours. I can even do this during the winter and it saves
heat as the sun warms up one side of my house. In the summer the
sun is out longer and it goes around and comes in my windows on the
other side of the house.

I mentioned last week that I did my windows. Well, when the sun
shines in it exposes every spot that I missed. This time I did not
use newspaper to wipe the windows, I used paper towels as I was
tired of having to deal with the ink coming off onto my white
frame. One thing that I had not considered was the amount of paper
dust that would cling to my windows. I need to do them over again
so I can enjoy looking out my windows when that beautiful sun shines
through. If you have figured out how to use newspaper without the
ink getting on your frames, I would love to know how.

I had a big AHA moment though, while seeing how the windows were
not as clear as I had hoped. Have you ever noticed that the
sunlight exposes so many things that you are not aware of when
it is not shining its light? It reminds me of the Christ light
that comes in with enlightenment. The more we call in the LIGHT,
the more we become aware of our shortcomings. But….if we did
not call in the LIGHT, we would not be aware of them so we could not
address them. What a gift that is when we can “see”, then we can do
a lot of things to release them and love ourselves in the process.

The LIGHT shows all imperfections like my not so clean windows and
shows all that needs to be cleansed so we can “see” clearly who we
really are. A child of God, a radiant being of LIGHT ourselves who
has come to Earth to spread the LIGHT. You can spread the LIGHT just
by smiling at everyone as you pass them in the store or even on the
highway. Remember, it takes only one candle to light a dark room.
Be the candle you are and you will “see” much clearer and help
others see more clearly.

I came across “Predictions of 2014” from a source I trust and I
thought you might like to check it out. It has a lot of food for
thought. If you do not agree with something that has been said,
that is fine, because that was just not meant for you. Listen
to your heart when listening to anyone, which includes me.

This Sunday, Oct 27, I will be part of the All Hallows Eve Psychic
Fair at the Roger Williams Park Casino, 1000 Elmwood Ave,
Providence, RI. 10am to 6pm. I will be offering my Mystic Readings
as well as my book, The Wounded Chalice. If you go, please stop

The promoter decided to offer the Fair two separate Sundays since
Halloween was in between both dates. Sunday, Nov 3rd, I will be at
Psychic Fair at Doubletree by Hilton, 11 Beaver St. Milford Ma
10am to 6pm. If you get the chance to go, please look me up to get
a hug and a smile.

Halloween, All Hallows Eve is this week. There is so much symbolism
in Halloween. Once a year we get to pretend to be someone we are not.
We get to wear masks so no one knows us or we have fun pretending
they do not. It is a party atmosphere and much camaraderie. It
brings to mind all the roles we play all year long. We are all like
actors on a stage with just different settings on the stage we call
Earth. How much more fun it would be if we only realized that is
just what we are doing. And…..we have so many people supporting
our roles. So no one is bad or good, it is just the role we have
chosen to play in this lifetime. Enjoy your Halloween and have fun.

There are powerful energies afoot these days and even in the upcoming
week. I was going to send this to you next week but thought you
might to know and then have the option to “working” with the energies.

All this serious business needs to bring a lighter view to you.

FLIGHT which contains LIGHT and the creatures of the air are using
the light to determine when to gather together. May humanity
come to this understanding too.

WHO AM I?

At this time of the year, there is much to put away, to put in
hibernation for its rebirth in the Spring. I have still not put
my kayak away and it is at this season that I deeply appreciate
the opportunity to see my surroundings in a different way. Most
of the boats are now removed or dry docked and most of the docks
have been pulled up onto dry land. There are still a few stragglers
like me who won’t give up until the lake starts to freeze.

I have not seen a boat out in the past two weeks and I myself have
not gone out in the water much as this season is also windy and I
do not want to battle the wind with the water being so cold. I went
out in the kayak last week but half way around the lake, the wind
was making the water rough ahead of me so I turned around and came
back while I still had some peaceful water. I went out this morning
even though it was not sunny but the water was like glass. I put on a
thin waterproof pants and jacket but as I sat down in the kayak, I
jumped up as the seat was so CCCCold. I came back in the house and
put on some sweats under the waterproof coverings and then went
back in the kayak.

We have a dam at one end of the lake and I have lived here for 16
years but have never seen how they raise and lower the “boards” so
that they lower the water level in the fall and raise it in the
spring. It was quite interesting and I discovered they can only do
it one board a day or week. You should have seen the rush of water
over the dam when they removed only one board. If they did two at a
time, the rush of the water would be too great and people would
get flooded out.

My older son bought a bass fishing boat and tomorrow he is bringing
it here so I can have a ride in it. I am really looking forward
to seeing my lake from above as in the kayak, I sit down into it so
it is a different feel and perspective.

From the kayak, I see many houses now peeking out at me as the trees
have let go of their leaves. The seasons not only change how the
water itself behaves but also what the habitation around the lake
looks like.

It is fascinating to see how people change their appearance. It
is the only time you get to look funny or different and it is
accepted by society. Who would you like to be for a day or night?
I don’t know if it is my age or not, but I am quite happy to be me.
It is so difficult to pretend to be other than who I am yet when I
was younger it was fun to try to fool others. Maybe I just did not
know who I was then but now I do.

Once in a great while something as beautiful as this
comes along and must be sent.

HALLOWEEN/VOTING…ARE THEY THE SAME?

Happy Halloween. There are so many ways to celebrate
Halloween and just as many meanings to this special day.
To some people, it is a symbol and celebration of their
religious beliefs and to others, it is an opportunity to
throw a party and celebrate with costumes.

Have you ever considered it as an opportunity to become
someone else if even for a few short hours? An opportunity
to try your acting skills in portraying some fantasy you may
have? Who hasn’t dreamed of being something other than
themselves? Is that walking in someone else’s shoes? Not
quite but it might give you a little taste.

It is a day that magnifies some people’s fears of the unseen
like ghosts and goblins and black magic. It is a day that
children look forward to so they can get lots and lots of
sweets and treats. Many adults look forward to seeing the
children in their costumes and making them smile as they put
something in their baskets.

If the day gets too “ghostly” for you then just think of the
glee that the little ones feel. Fear comes in many sizes and
packages. Fear is only real if you give it substance and faith
is the antidote. Neither are able to be seen by the physical
eyes so how can you know that either is real? By their results!

It is like the wind which is something that you can feel, you
know it is there but you can’t see it . You only know it is
there because you see the effects. The rustling of the leaves,
the blowing of the clothes on the line, the mussing of someone’s hair.
.
Which one makes you feel good about yourself and life?
Do not let fear spoil any day of the year for you, life is too short.

I am participating in a Halloween Festival at Alternatives for
Health Herbal Apothecary at 426 Main Street, Sturbridge, Ma
this weekend. There will be several of us sharing our gifts including
Joy Levine – Numerology, Deb Galanos – Readings, Diane Lewis –
spiritual Healer & Medium and myself – bearing the Divine Mother
Energy, come prepare to be touched by the Mother. I will be there
on Saturday from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM and on Sunday from
12:00 PM to 5:00PM.

Join us for a fun filled Halloween Weekend! There will be readers
on site both days and there will be refreshments, drawings and more.
Come in, say Hi and see the new product lines.

Once the partying is over, we then get down to brass tacks.
Voting is up next for the majority of Americans. It affects many
people the same way as Halloween. Are we going to let fear
control our country or will we have faith that a Higher Power can
be in charge if we allow it?

There has been so much slander and lies spread in this campaign,
that it is tempting to just stay home and not vote. And…..that is what
fear wants you to do. Will you give up your God given right to vote
for your choice based on your own heart? Many of our ancestors
gave up their lives just so you could be free to go to the polls and
choose. How long will it take you? Longer than those who are fighting
for our freedom to do so?

Go into your heart and let your heart speak to your mind so you will
choose the candidates that will lead this country in the way you wish
it to be. America stands for something, let us stand up for that.
Remember that we have all come from immigrants and our forefathers
and foremothers gave up much to come to this country so you could be
free to go and pick your choice. Money and power cannot buy the
most precious thing we have and that is love for one another. It is
priceless so use it wisely. I, for one, will go into the quiet and pray
that I choose wisely so that my great grandchildren will always be
protected from all harm and have the freedom that I have enjoyed
all my life. It takes only a minute to still the wordly voices and listen
to the one that speaks to your heart.

I received this email this morning and it gives you something
you can do if you are confused and not knowing which way
to turn. I have never heard of this organization but it rang
true to my heart so if you want to do something and do not
know what, this might be a solution for you.

With all the turbulence in the air as we approach the mid-term
elections, we are feeling called to convene a space for those
yearning to connect with a deeper wisdom and truth in relation
to our collective situation. Please join us on election morning
for a deep listening call to “call forth the deepest wisdom and
the highest compassion from the heart and soul of America,
for the benefit of the entire Earth community and the next
seven generations.”
