SUMMER LEADS TO REMINISCING – WILLIE NELSON

Beloved,

Well, I would say that summer is here. This hot weather
is nice as we have had cooler nights so the warmth is nice
during the day and an excuse to go swimming. I don’t know
about you but I have to be “hot” and sweating to brave
the temperature change of the water. Now, the water is
warm and the contrast is less so it is more enjoyable. I
don’t have air conditioning so I just go jump in the lake
to cool off and it is quite effective as well as fun.

I love watching people swim as that is one skill I don’t have
but would like to have. There is a woman who swims with
such ease, she does not even have to move her arms fast. She
just sort of ambles along and when she floats her feet stick up.
When I try to float, my feet sink downward. I am grateful for
noodles to float along on but I am more aware now of a fear
that I have not conquered yet. My fear of drowning that was
instilled when as child, the boys kept taking my hands off
the raft that I had finally gotten to on my first attempt. I knew
I was drowning and to this day do not know how I ever got up
on the raft.

I kind of feel like a failure for not addressing this fear much
sooner because I like to pride myself on conquering so many
of the fears I used to have. I don’t feel like I have the energy to
do this one as it is a “fleeting” skill that I would use only in the
few months of summer. Perhaps I will address that at a
future time. And….I do have my trusty noodle.

What fantastic timing. This Quote is from ABRAHAM:

Most people have a hard time delegating, or even wanting to
delegate, because you have been justifying your existence
through your hard work, and you equate success with struggle;
you equate results with struggle. And so, you sort of wear
your struggle like a badge of honor. And all of that is opposite
of allowing the Well-being. The only thing that ever matters
in success or achievement is your achieving the things that
you want to achieve. So if you are setting standards and
you’re feeling uncomfortable about the standards that you’ve
set, tweak the standards back a little bit. Ratchet it back a notch.
Give yourself a break. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt.
Lighten up. Be easier. Go slower. Take it easy. Have more fun.
Love yourself more. Laugh more. Appreciate more. All is well.
You can’t get it wrong. You never get it done.
— Abraham

I guess this means I don’t have to take swimming lessons? : > )

I so look forward to the Baltimore Oriole’s coming, they
are so much fun to watch and are here only for about
three months. Well, the babies are grown now and the
parents are nowhere to be seen. There are a few of
the young ones remaining but they will be gone in a few
days. the feeders on one side of the house have no
traffic and the ones on the side of the lake are visited
only occasionally. Their departing is a signal that the
fall is on the way, much like the store sales that are
here promoting back to school. The hummingbirds
are still here and I will now have more time to enjoy
them until their departure in September.

Would you like to see some different pictures of our
beloved planet?

divine and that the divinity is the

I hope you have been enjoying Panache Desai and Jennifer
McLean of Healing with the Masters. There has been
so many healing miracles and the alchemy of those two
on one show for four nights this week has blown my
mind away. Many people are writing about the
AHA moments they are getting and how their lives
have already changed by feeling the love that
Panache has for all of his listeners which allows
them to love themselves so unconditionally. It
blows my mind that this is all free and it comes
into our own home so we don’t have to travel
to get these miracles. I am so grateful.

The heat must have gotten to me, all I am
doing is reminiscing and this one will lift your heart.

It’s hard to believe that Willie
Nelson ever looked this way…
I can honestly say that I can’t
ever remember him looking like this!!
