EASTER – A NEW BEGINNING

Easter is celebrating the resurrection of the Christ! Jesus came as
a teacher and example for us to emulate. He was LOVE and still is
LOVE as He is Eternal just as LOVE is Eternal. We humans are the
examples of LOVE to each other and LOVE is the strongest energy on
Earth. Nothing can withstand against it.

Today is Good Friday and as a child, I use to be in mourning
between noon and 3PM in order to be one with Jesus. I wouldn’t do
anything I liked to do and I wouldn’t eat, drink or be merry. Well,
Jesus is much alive as we venerate the sacrifice he made so we would
know how much He loved us. I no longer believe that you must be sad
and downfaced on Good Friday. Jesus gave us a beautiful and precious
gift. When someone gives you a gift, do you cry and mourn? It
pleases the giver to see you enjoy the gift that was just given to you.

I hold this sacrifice in my heart and my thoughts all day yet these
only strengthen my gratitude for what he did. He came to show us
how to LOVE and we are not expected to experience crucifixation. Jesus
did so we wouldn’t have to.

In fact, I wish to share my joy with you today. You’ll never guess
what I did this afternoon? I went kayaking!!!! The lake is all
thawed or so I thought. The part that I could see was all melted
and the geese and ducks are enjoying it. This morning when I got
up and looked out, the lake was like glass reflecting all the
houses across the water and the sky above. It was only 35 degrees
but I was thinking how great it would be to kayak. I know better as
it is much colder than it looks. Around noon, I looked out and I
suddenly had an urge to go uncover my kayak and maybe I could
just put it in the water, sit in it and the water could rock me.

By now it was 55 degrees, the sun was out but so was the wind. I do
not usually go out when it is windy as one day I was one inch from
being toppled and capsized by a sudden gust of wind. In fact, I
cracked a rib because of all the strength it took to keep the kayak
from completely turning over. I vowed Never Again so I have a deep
respect for the wind. As I was pondering this jaunt, I decided I
was at least going to launch the kayak for the year. I usually am
the first kayak in the water so I officially baptize the lake and I
am usually the last one in November or December so I tuck my lake
into the folds of winter.

The wind died down except for when I was trying to launch my kayak.
I was laughing because the wind came up and would not let me get
away from the shore. The water is low right now as the boards on
the dam have not been put in to raise the water height in the lake.
I kept trying to paddle but it would push me back to where the kayak
would stick in the sand. It was funny and if anyone was watching,
it made a good sitcom. I finally had to keep digging my oars in the
mud to push me further and further. I decided I would stay only in
my slight cove like area but once I got out in the water, I wanted
to see what was going on in my lake.

I stayed close to shore because the water is still freezing cold
to the touch. Just because it is thawed does not mean our human
bodies would not be in danger if we got dunked. I kept singing to
myself: “I’m in Heaven, I’m in Heaven”. I really was because there
is nothing like the first time of feeling your body rocking with
the motion of the water and with a kayak, you are not on top of the
water, you are inside of it so it is a totally different feeling.

I was so full of gratitude and this jaunt is a reminder to me why I
won’t sell even if I have to survive the winter. It feels so joyous
just as when you experience the first bud bloom on your flowers. I
kept rowing and when I got to the two coves that I love to explore,
they were blocked by ice. I have never been out in the water this
soon and so I always thought that when the ice in front of my house
thawed, the whole lake would be thawed. To my surprise, that was not
true. I certainly did get an Easter surprise when I saw that. What
an experience I had to be able to go up to the ice that was blocking
me. It was quite a visual surprise also. The transient ducks that
stop over to feed on their journey were there and I think they were
surprised to see anyone or anything out on the water. 6 ducks at a
time, they would fly away although I was not even close. Finally
only a pair of them slowly moved away. They don’t let you get close
and that is why I use binoculars especially inside the house as I
can get a better view of them when they come close to shore and
even when they are further away.

I saw the geese from my binoculars but I did not see them today when
I was out on the water. I was woken during the night by a lot of
geese or ducks making a racket. I was going to get up to see then
realized it was dark so I would not be able to see them anyway. A
ruckus like that is rare but it did make me wonder. The lake has a
life of its own and even after 18 years of being here, I am still
surprised by what I see and hear.

Spring is here even if there is still snow on my lawn and ice on the
lake. My heart feels so full and I want to share that joy with you.
I did not go around the whole lake as I have to break in my arm
muscles and grow some calluses inside my thumbs. When I came back
the clouds started to come in and the water changed. I feel so
blessed by Mother Nature and although it was not 3PM yet, I felt
like Jesus had given me a priceless gift on Good Friday to let me
know and feel His LOVE.

I also would like to share this message with you so you know just
how important you are to me and to this world.

If your wondering how exactly you can effectuate the most change in
your life, in the world, and even at the universal level: Just
BE LOVE.

How, specifically, do you just BE LOVE?

You BE LOVE by refusing to fall into negativity or fear. It’s as
simple as that. Each time you override a thought of fear with LOVE,
each time you remember that ALL IS PERFECT AND WELL, you have won.
Then, remain in LOVE, call on LOVE, breathe LOVE in and out.
That is all.

Additionally, if you do this with intent to spread LOVE you multiply
the flow of adamantine particles which are controlled only by LOVE.
Similar to negative ions, these sacred particles release enormous
pressure on the earth & humanity by easing tension and soothing
strain. We simply can’t think of a better way to change your life
and the world.

Have you noticed the pine trees lately? I know I have sent this
to you before but I still find this intriguing. The kids like to
look for this in the trees.

I feel I need to apologize for my error in last week’s newsletter.
I wished you a Happy Hanukkah but I really meant Passover. It does
not matter what we call the celebration, the important thing is to
feel the LOVE, celebrate and share it with those you love. Thanks
for the understanding and compassion to someone who wishes you only
the best in this world. By the way, Happy Passover and Love to you
and your families.

VULNERABLE AND SCARED

Beloved,

I celebrated my 75th birthday last Tuesday. My intent was to send you
an email to let you know so you could join with me in celebrating.
I woke up in the morning and laid in the bed and I wondered where all
the years went because there is so much I do not remember. It just
doesn’t seem possible that I have lived that many days, months, and
years. How easily we forget many of the details of just yesterday.
Is it easier to remember the more challenging scenarios of living
in human form? I am “playing” (not working) at remembering to live
in the moment. That is all we have because the past just melts away
and you wonder where it all went.

I “know” that I am not the same person, not the same personality,
my views have changed and I have learned soooo much about being human.
There is a saying: “Youth is wasted on the young”. By the time you
know what to do with your life, it is over. I would not want to go
back to being young, though. Not because of my physical looks but
because I have gained so much wisdom by living that I am not willing
to give that up. If I can take my wisdom with me, I would happily
be rejuvenated.

My day went so quickly, I started out going to my Svaroopa Yoga
class, then I took myself to my favorite place for coffee. Then off
to do shopping, both food and other. I came home to 7 messages on
my phone and by the time I got through them, it was time for my
oldest son and family to pick me up and go to my favorite restaurant.
Being Celiac, eating at restaurants who do not have a gluten free
menu is not a celebration. In fact, even restaurants with a gluten
free menu do not offer the food that I crave for. Like fish and chips,
Eggplant Parmesan, chicken fingers, pizza, hamburgers with a gluten
free bun and sauce that is gluten free. Most restaurants offer me
plain fish that is baked, some vegetables and a salad. I sure do
get sick of having such a plain meal.

Well, there is an Italian restaurant just 5 minutes down the road
that carries a full page of gluten free menus. It is a family run
restaurant: Diane’s Villa Nova in Holland, Ma whose cook has Celiac
and is very aware of contamination and just how much flour goes into
simple foods. I had Shepherd’s pie which is hamburg, corn and mashed
potatoes. It was mouth watering and sooo good. It has been years
since I have had it. I try to have something different each time I
go and I still have not tried all they have to offer yet. My son is ‘
a Celiac also and he got the huge hamburg filled with Mozzarella
cheese with the house sauce on it. WE shared a little of what we
were having with each other which is another gift as I usually can’t
share anything that someone else is having. They serve regular food
also so my granddaughter, grandson and daughter-in-law were able to
get food that they loved.

My other son was dog sitting a ways away so was unable to join us but
my kids and grand-kids all wished me a Happy Birthday by either phone,
email or in person. THAT is the only gift that I would ever want to
have, to be remembered by those I love. Money cannot buy love and
so it is the most precious and irreplaceable gift to receive.

We had another snow storm this past Sunday but I did not know about
it until I was half way to the 2013 Matters of the Heart Psychic
Fair being held about an hour and a quarter away. That event had
been postponed from the previous Sunday due to another snow storm
where we got 3 feet of snow. As I was one of the readers. a Mystic
reader, I did not know whether to turn back as I did not know what
lay ahead of me. It had not been snowing when I left home at 7A.M.
The driving was getting more difficult and the snow was freezing on
the windshield but my guidance told me there would be people who
needed my guidance to continue so I did.

This was also a challenge that I had been guided to face, to bring
my Chalice out to the general public. I have had it 18 years and
it is the Chalice that I was guided to buy and use on the cover of
my book, The Wounded Chalice. The transforming story about it is
in my book as it was pivotal in my writing it and following the
guidance of the Divine Feminine. I was still learning to listen
to my guidance and this was another exercise in me listening to
that little voice within me.

It had been on my altar for years as it took me 17 years to finish
the book after I was asked to write it. Are you one of the lucky ones
who listen immediately to your guidance? After my book was published
I retired it to its black box as it is silver with gilded gold and
I wanted to protect it from having to clean it so often. Well,
I took it out and cleaned it for its debut at this event. Sometimes
I need to look at why I am procrastinating. Is it because Spirit is
guiding me to the Divine Timing or am I trying to avoid doing what
is creating fear in me?

Maybe part of me wanted to turn back not because of the storm but
because of my fear of exposure. Exposing my Chalice will make me very
vulnerable. It is so sacred to me that I did not want anybody to
touch it, to tarnish it or to laugh at it. When you make yourself
vulnerable you never know what other people will say or do. Oh, me
of little faith. If I had the faith that I believe I have, why am
I so scared to be vulnerable?

Many people were affected by the Chalice, many were feeling chills
(which I call truth chills), many hearts were touched by it as it
represents their body also. The Chalice holds the blood of life
and so does your body, especially women. Your womb holds the Blood
of Life for your child and it holds the Blood of Your Life. Your
body is sacred as it holds the Divine.

I need to admit to cringing when the first person touched it. I had
placed it to the back of my table so the person would have to reach
over to touch it. Then another woman was rubbing it and another
one turned it over to see the printing underneath it. It was made
in 1913 and it has writing on it but I am not sure what language.
I just this minute realized (AHA moment)that my Chalice is celebrating
it’s 100th anniversary. Wow, what a celebration of the dedication
of this beautiful vessel to holding The Blood of Life . I was
celebrating my 75th while it was celebrating it’s 100th.

Because of the storm, the event was not well attended but those who
were meant to be there were there. This event gave me many
opportunities to face my fears and to help others face theirs. I am
grateful that my vulnerable and scared human had the courage to
listen to her inner guidance.

I hope to remember this video when I get scared of being vu
seen a dog up close before.
The dog is so gentle & keeps trying to engage the child.
What a beautiful animal!

CELEBRATE LOVE

Beloved,

Here in the Northeast we are awaiting the strongest burst from this
predicted Nor’easter or Blizzard. Schools are closed and the
governor has asked everyone to stay off the roads if possible and
recommended that all employees leave at noon to get home before the
worst sets in. When I got up this morning, it was snowing but JUST
knowing about the storm I feel compelled to be lazy and just hang
around in my pj’s. I usually get this newsletter out to you a lot
earlier in the day but I just can’t seem to “make” myself be focused
and active. This is strange for me as Friday is the busiest day in
the week for me as I write to you and then I prepare what I am going
to say on my weekly TV Show and then write the script and then am off
to produce my show.

Well, the studio has been closed down because of the storm so I have
no deadline to get all the preparations done and what am I doing?
Actually nothing, just listening and reading emails that I have not’
been able to get to. I am sitting here in my pj’s with the heater
blowing nice warm air on me. Yesterday I was busy preparing for
“Matters of the Heart Psychic Fair” in Milford, Ma on Sunday Feb 10th.
That event has been postponed until next Sunday, Feb 17 so there is
no immediate necessary preparation for it. If you are interested in
attending, just send me an email and I will forward you the info.

What is about an impending storm that makes you want to curl up,
have hot cocoa and read a good book? My thought on that is that
we don’t give ourselves many opportunities to just chill out and do
nothing. NOW, we have an excuse. I propose that we just allow
ourselves more opportunities like this without feeling any guilt
over not being busy. Even the birds are acting strangely. Usually
the birds are all over the feeders just before a storm in order to
fill up but there were no birds at my feeders this morning. Do you
know why? If you do, please email me and let me know. Maybe they
just want to curl up in the bushes and wait it out but it is unusual.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY BELOVED! You are beloved as I see the Love
in you and the LOVE that our Creator has for you.

History of Valentines

In ancient Rome, the 14th of February was a celebration honoring
Juno, Queen of the Roman Gods and Goddesses. This is the equivalent
of celebrating the Divine Mother or Divine Feminine energy. The
following day the Lupercian Festival was held in honor of the God
of Fertility. During these festivities young men would choose the
name of a single young woman from a jar and would spend not only the
festival time, but the following year courting her. This often
resulted in marriage.

When Claudius II became Emperor, however, all that changed. Having
difficulty recruiting young men as soldiers,he determined they were
unwilling to leave their sweethearts. All engagements and marriages
were cancelled. Nonetheless, a Catholic Bishop named Valentine,
who understood the true nature of love, began secretly marrying
young couples. He paid for his treasonous act with his life. The
church later renamed the celebration of the Divine Mother and it
became known as St. Valentine’s day.

This is a day that we can chill out with those we love, let us
do just that. Valentine’s Day is to celebrate LOVE in all of its
forms, it is not just for a special someone although it is a
wonderful to do that also. In fact, let’s make every day Valentine’s
Day, make every day a day to celebrate Love with everyone. What
a wonderful world this would be.

“‘When the flower blooms, the bee comes uninvited. ~Ramakrishna’

When the path of love returns us to its true dwelling place,
unconditional love is discovered right here in our own heart, with
no strings attached; yet it continually invites the flower of our
being to blossom. When it does, “the bees come uninvited,” but you
may no longer care whether they do or don’t. You are content to be
Love-simple, open, intimate, undivided. “Alyssa”

“Perhaps our Valentine is the whole universe and You are it! You are
the expression of its Love.”

Have you heard of the BILLIONS RISING that is being celebrated on
February 14th? All over the world people are joining together or at
least celebrating. Here are two links that will give you the ideas
