I don’t know if you have ever heard of the chalk guy?
He is a person who can create 3rd dimensional pictures
on streets and sidewalks. People actually avoid “stepping”
on the pictures as they seem so real. The holes actually
seem to be a hole and not just a drawing. He is incredible.
I have attached these pictures for you, enjoy and take a
moment to become aware if “it”(the scene) feels real to you.
Great Crevasse Edgar Mueller. Hard work: Together
with up to five assistants, Mueller painted all day long
from sunrise to sunset.
One of the pictures appeared on the East Pier in Dun Laoghaire ,
Ireland ,as part of the town’s Festival of World Cultures.
The other one he spent five days, working 12 hours a day, to
create the 250 square metre image of the crevasse, which,
viewed from the correct angle, appears to be 3D.
He then persuaded passers-by to complete the illusion by
pretending the gaping hole was real.’I wanted to play with
positives and negatives to encourage people to think twice
about everything they see,’ he said. ‘It was a very scary scene,
but when people saw it they had great fun playing on it and
pretending to fall into the earth.
‘I like to think that later, when they returned home, they might
reflect more on what a frightening scenario it was and say,
“Wow, that was actually pretty scary.”
Mueller, who has previously painted a giant waterfall in Canada,
said he was Inspired by the British ‘Pavement Picasso’ Julian
Beever, whose dramatic but More gentle 3D street images
have been featured in the Daily Mail.
This guy is amazing no matter how you look at it!
With this insight as to whether it is actually
real or not, it is proof that not all is how it
appears to be. Not all that your mind believes
to be true is actually true, it can be an illusion.
Movies do this to simulate reality although
it is not actual reality. Allow yourself
to question what you always believed to be
true and what others are leading you to
believe.
This has been quite an eventful week for the whole planet.
Such silly things as taking pride in forcing our President
to provide the “long” form of his birth certificate which
only proves the focus of a presidential candidate who
takes away from the seriousness of some of the
world’s greatest disasters to focus on something he
chooses for self gratification. If you or someone you
love was in those disasters, which would you rather
see the President and Congress paying attention to?
I will include an email I received that you might like
to read and pass on. It is my belief that we would be
better off being governed by people who are just like us.
Who can actually “feel” how all the shenanigans
they are playing with are actually affecting the
average American Citizen. It is very easy to make
rules when they do not affect you personally, but
if it directly affects your health and income, you would
make the outcome be entirely different.
If you have never been hungry how can you possibly
understand hunger, if you have never been poor how
can you possibly understand poverty, if you have never
been sick and can’t afford to go to the doctor, how can
you possibly understand the non-insured? ETC………
I personally believe that all of our legislators would be
better lawmakers if they were under the same laws
and rules that they are creating for us. If you agree, let’s
make our voice heard the only way we have, by
joining together and spreading this message.
If you don’t agree, I honor your free choice given
to us by God and the freedom of the USA given to
us by our men and women of the Armed Forces (who
by the way are just like you).
I have no illusions about the complacency
of people. However I am forwarding this
anyway. Perhaps you will too.
The 26th amendment (granting the right
to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months
& 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The
people demanded it. That was in 1971…
before computers, before e-mail, before cell
phones, etc.
Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution,
seven (7) took 1 year or less to become
the law of the land…all because of public
pressure.
I’m asking each addressee to forward this
email to a minimum of twenty people on
their address list; in turn ask each of those
to do likewise.
In three days, most people in The United
States of America will have the message.
This is one idea that really should be passed
around.
Congressional Reform Act of 2011
1. Term Limits. 12 years only, one of the possible
options below.
A. Two Six-year Senate terms
B. Six Two-year House terms
C. One Six-year Senate term and three
Two-Year House terms
2. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman collects a salary while
in office and receives no pay when
they are out of office.
3. Congress (past, present & future)
participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement
fund move to the Social Security system
immediately. All future funds flow into the
Social Security system, and Congress
participates with the American people.
4. Congress can purchase their own
retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
5. Congress will no longer vote themselves
a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by
the lower of CPI or 3%.
6. Congress loses their current health care
system and participates in the same health
care system as the American people.
7. Congress must equally abide by all laws
they impose on the American people.
8. All contracts with past and present
Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12.
9. The Congress will be in session five
days a week just like their boss (the
American People), no more of this
T-W-Th part-time job nonsense!
The American people did not make
this contract with Congressmen.
Congressmen made all these contracts
for themselves .
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.
The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators,
so ours should serve their term(s), then go
home and back to work.
This would illuminate careered politicians with
CEO’s and professional experienced
men and women who contribute back to their country!
If each person contacts a minimum of
twenty people then it will only take
three days for most people (in the U.S. )
to receive the message. Maybe it is time .
If you agree with the above, pass it on.
If not, just delete.
My heart and my compassion go out to all who have been
affected by the tornadoes and all those weather changes that
have been affecting the world. I have some info you might
like if you are thinking of donating for these unfortunate
beings.
As you open your pockets, please keep these facts in mind:
The American Red Cross President and CEO Marsha J. Evans
salary for the year was $651,957 plus expenses.
The United Way President Brian Gallagher receives a
$375,000 base salary along with numerous expense benefit.
UNICEF CEO Caryl M. Stern receives$1,200,000 per year
(100K per month) plus all expenses including a Roll Royce.
Less than 5 cents of your donated dollar goes to the cause.
The Salvation Army’s Commissioner Todd Bassett receives a
salary of only $13,000 per year (plus housing) for
managing this $2 billion dollar organization.
96 percent of donated dollars go to the cause.
You probably can guess who I send my donations to. I want my
money to go to those in need.
Support the Salvation Army. Call 1-800-SAL-ARMY or text
“GIVE” to 80888 to make a $10 donation.
God bless you for taking the time and energy to consider
others.
