It is 65 degrees here and I do not want to do anything but be outside.
My shoulder is not completely healed so there is not much I can do to
be outside but I definitely have Spring Fever. How about you?

In fact, I am chomping at the bit to take my kayak out on the lake
because today is the first day that the lake is completely thawed out.
Again, I am a little frustrated that I cannot do what I want to but having
the warmth back and the sun out, I can’t be anything but joyful.

Tomorrow morning I am going on a bird walk and I have to confess that
if my friend had not invited me to join her, I would not get up early to
do this although I had seen the email about this event and was interested.
It is so much more fun when we do things with others, thank God for
friends who kind of give us the incentive or push.

It is hard for me to fathom that next Friday will be Good Friday. It kind of
sneaked up on me as I was concentrating on a radio show that I was
invited to be a guest on, which is the day after Easter on Monday, April 5th.

I came across this story about pine trees and Easter which I want to share
with you. It is true as I look out on the pine trees around me. The pine trees
have been abundant with their pine cones this year, haven’t they?
