Beloved,
Have you jumped in a pile of leaves yet? Let yourself go and become
a child again. It will bring up a lot of laughter even if it is at
yourself. Invite your family or neighbors to join you and then have
a rip roaring time (and other bodies to help rake them up again).
Imagine yourself doing this in the leaves. Smile?
This is an amazing performance presented at the UK got talent show,
it left one of the judges speechless and even Simon said it was one
of the best performances he has ever seen. Hope you enjoy it, too.

I KNOW for sure that I will not be going out kayaking today. Many
days I am undecided as the wind changes on a minute by minute
schedule. Early on in my immersion into kayaking about 16 years ago,
I went out in my kayak and a gust of wind hit me broadside and I
came within 1-2 inches of tipping over. I used all my strength to
get it right side up and cracked a rib or two doing it. Mind you,
that doesn’t happen to many but I happened to have severe
osteoporosis at THAT time.
So now, I don’t go out when it is really windy and today the wind
is playing a game with all the leaves and also upturning the plastic
chairs on the beach. This has been a wonderful week weather wise.
Columbus Day was a perfect day of which we do not get many of. It
was sunny, warm and just a breeze with much time of no breeze. I
did not want to come in after kayaking around the lake. It was so
perfect that I did not want it to end. I am sure you have felt that
way about some moments in your life. We all know it does end but
I stayed close to my beach for another 15 minutes just basking in
the sun and being in my kayak watching the sun playing with the
water. Then I came in and proceeded to taking my screens down and
then washing windows. I did half the house. Another half to go.
I do not like looking through screens so my choice is to remove them.
So now I get to see the lake side out of “clear” windows. Yeah!
It always takes me time to adjust to the newest season. I do not
want summer to end so my resistance goes up and I waste precious
time resisting what is because I want what I had before. Does it
sound familiar? I am now fully enjoying fall (NOW) but I am aware
that winter is right around the corner(FUTURE). I am aware of that
aspect of myself yet I love who I am so I need to love that part
of myself too. Love ALL parts of yourself even the ones you would
prefer to change.
Do you know what a GMO is? Do you know how it is Made? Our food
supply is inundated with GMO’s which 17 other countries either demand
labeling all foods or simply ban GMO all together. Do they know
something we don’t know? There is going to be a GMO Mini Summit
from Oct 25 to the 27th with many different speakers explaining
so we can be informed consumers. I personally know that my body
is adversely affected by GMO Products, do you know if yours is?

your pocketbook speaks louder than your vote at the polling booth.

I believe in out world and in humanity. If the kids are thoughtful,
look at the parents because that is who taught them. Thank you
parents of today’s youth for creating a generation that will change
our world for the better.
