AT THE END OF YOUR ROPE?

Beloved,

Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Even if you’re not Irish, you get an Irish
Blessing. So here it is. It is yours for the rest of the year.

May your blessings outnumber
The Shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go!

I love the Irish accent and the humor that goes with it: Here is
a sick note in case you need it to go to see the parade.

This description by Paddy just about sums up my week. I wrote last
week about the scammer that called me. Well, that seemed to start
an avalanche of computer problems. Privately, I now know that it
was the energy caused by my being so upset that built the energy
so high that it manifested at my weakest point, the computer.
Have you ever been so upset that it started an avalanche of
circumstances that you could not quite control? This is a great
example of what happens when you let fear take over.

I have been upset with myself for my lack of Faith and Trust. AND
IT SHOWED. As we are always the only creator of our world, it was
a wake up call for me. The vibrations and energy caused a mini
tornado to occur in my world.

I started to get a message that my computer was at risk, that I
needed to get virus protection. I already had Norton but this
was a message from Microsoft windows. What should I do? My son,
Bruce suggested that I call Norton, so I did. You know when you
call for help from a large company, your call goes to a different
country? Well, here I was again with someone who has an accent but
it was not as bad as the scammers.

The man was very polite and tried for four hours to figure out why
and how this was happening on my computer. Next, I asked to speak
to a supervisor and this man’s accent was not as pronounced. In
fact, it could have been a woman but I did not want to take the risk
of offending him/her and their Indian names I am not familiar with
so that did not assist me in determining the sex. What difference
did it make anyway? After another 3 and a half hours at this computer,
the technician said he/she would call me the following day. In the
meantime, I did not want to risk using my computer and expose it to
viruses.

The next day, I called Microsoft to see if they had any heads up
about this. The technician could not even get into my computer
to see what was happening. My computer simply would not let her
to take over and while I was on the phone with her, Norton called
me. We all decided to let Norton try to figure it out because
Microsoft could not do anything if they could not “see” the problem.

This man was a higher level technician so he had more expertise to
work with and after another three and a half hours, he convinced
me that my computer was in fact protected by Norton no matter
what that pop up error message said. He said that , for some reason,
Microsoft just wasn’t able to recognize that Norton was doing the
protection. The two systems just weren’t communicating(does this
sound familiar?), it seems to be a worldwide problem. I breathed a
heavy sigh of relief and made the decision to trust what I was being
told. I don’t know about you, but I hold my breath when I am in
situations like this. I don’t realize it until it is over and I start
breathing again. I know better than to do this but it seems to be
an automatic response to stress.

My anxiety vibration seemed to reek havoc with my electronically
devices including my TV. All of a sudden, my TV was coming in and
out.I went uotside to check the satellite dish and it was fine. There
was a little wind but nothing that would affect the dish. After
an hour of this, I called Direct TV and the technician kept leading
me to try different things which were not working. Finally, after
an hour she had me switch the ?cables and screw cable 1 on receptor
2 and vice versa. That worked and it was working fine again. Whew!

I went to print something out from my computer and discovered that
it would not print. As I checked, I had no computers listed on my
computer. Well, I dug out the installation CD’s. As I have two
printers, I started with the oldest one and kept getting a message
about “print spooler is not running”. I had no idea what that meant
so I tried the other disc for the other printer. I ended with a
message that said:”Spooler Service stopped” I was at a loss again.

Knowing that Norton was the last person to play with the computer,
I called them. I tried to get the last technician but he was
unavailable and this new tech wanted to help me. I said NO, I
cannot spend another 14 hours at this computer and I asked for
a supervisor. They were very accommodating and suddenly I was
talking to a technician who spoke English well and discovered that
this man was in Oregon.

Oh my gosh, I know I have told you this before but it is a law
that when you are connected to someone not in the US that you can
politely request to be transferred to the US. I had forgotten this
although I usually do ask when I am calling a company and I know they
have given me someone not in the US. I have no bias against any one
in a different country but my motto is to help Americans keep their
jobs. I do this on the phone and when I am shopping which includes
grocery shopping, I do my best to buy only American made goods. It
surprised me how much food is from other countries although I knew
that goods were made in other countries.

It was a pleasure to be able to understand Jason and since my
computer is slow, we had much time to chat while it was doing it’s
thing. Another 3 hours at the computer and he finally figured out
how to fix it and even stayed on the phone while I reinstalled my
printers and they were both working. Hooray! I missed 17 minutes of
a class I had purchased on line but it was worth it.

I would like to highly recommend Norton for protection of your
computer. It might have taken a while but they would not abandon
me until it was completely fixed. They stuck with me through
thick and thin and were pleasant about it.

I had p reprogrammed my TV to record shows while I was on this
teleconference. When I got through I went to my TV but it was
giving me a message that I could only record one show so I was unable
to watch one and record another. Darn. Well, the energy is starting
to settle down and the problems seem to be getting smaller. I will
attend to this matter tomorrow as this day is full writing to you
and then preparing the information and script for my TV Show today.

Can you see why the SICK NOTE made me laugh so much. It seems to
be a composite of my past week and I was happy to see the humor in
it. Remember to have compassion when your family or friends go
bonkers. In fact, you can share this story or newsletter with them.
Just remember to catch yourself when you are extremely upset or
anxious as it stirs the energy and vibration and you have started an
avalanche that will only stop at the bottom. Join me in believing
and trusting in the Higher Power no matter what name you give it.
AND…..see the humor in it, it would make a great sitcom.

I will give you another video to watch. Just reading about it
does not do it justice. You want to his face when the “impossible”
happens. It gives us hope when we think we at the end of our rope.

This man lost half of his leg and because he needed the money he
thought he would sell an old Indian blanket that he inherited from
his family.

Incredible! Those early Navajo weavers knew how to obtain the best

Have faith is all that happens and you will come out on top.

A BRIDGE CALLED LOVE

Beloved,

The Blizzard of 2013 is what they are calling the storm that
really dumped on the Northeast last weekend. i did not get out of
my yard for 4 days but during the storm I was out on my stoop
shoveling as the snow was coming down sometimes at 3″ an hour. The
lake always has gifts for me but one of the ones I don’t get too
often is the little mini whirlwind that surrounds my house. If there
is any wind it likes to pick up and deposit more snow right in the
front of my house.

Of course, that is great in the summer as I rarely have mosquitoes
because the breeze keeps them away but in winter? Ah. that is a
different story. My neighbor called me to pitch in for the cost of
plowing our street which is a private way, and he said he wished
I could see what he was looking at. He was looking at my house
which was nicely wrapped in about 6 feet of snow. The snow was up
past my small kitchen window and it had covered all the windows
in the door of my garage. I shovel the stoop because if I didn’t,
I would not be able to open my door.

It was comical in a way as I would go out to shovel it and since the
drifts were taller than me, I had a heck of a time throwing what I
shoveled over those banks. And….the wind loves to play with me
because every time I managed to get a shovelful over, he would blow
it right back at me. I really did a lot of laughing but finally gave
up at 12:30AM and went to bed. When I got up the next morning, the
snow was high in front of my door. I wish I had a surveillance
camera so I could watch myself as I contort my body to try to get
through a space so thin that Twiggy would have a hard getting
through. But after many gyrations I managed to get the shovel out
there and then work it a little to dislodge some snow that is
against the door.

Finally, I made it and managed to shovel it. My thinking was that
if there was an emergency, they could send a helicopter and bring
me up in the basket but I had to make it out of my house first. I
could not walk as the snow was drifted over my head but at least I
was out side where I hoped I would be seen. When things like this
happen, I like to bring the humor in. There were many blessings also.
The first foot of snow was the heavy wet kind but the rest was the
fluffy snow which made the wind’s job easier but also mine as I could
pick up a full shovel rather than a little at a time.

Last winter was a great winter, I had to be plowed only once and the
temperature was so much warmer. Mother Nature knows what she is doing
though, she knows our water table is low because we did not have snow
last year so she made sure we had plenty this year. She did make it
light kind of snow and after three days, she sent the rain which
diminished the snow and also a heavy fog overnight which cuts through
snow like a knife through butter. We ended up with only half the
amount the storm delivered and now she is giving us beautiful sunny
weather to melt the rest.

All in our area were gifted with the governor closing the roads,
offices, schools, stores except Home Depot which was needed to
furnish parts that snow blowers and snow plows needed. And…..gas
stations so people could run their snow blowers. Most of all,
parents and children got to spend some quality time together without
the outside world diverting their attention elsewhere. They finally
had the time to be a family and get to know each other again. We
were fortunate as we did not lose power but many did. The piece de
resistance was when the Post Office canceled all mail delivery on
Saturday and closed all its Post Offices. I worked for the Post
Office for 23 years and in all those years, the Post Office never
shut down. I think the postal people deserved not to have to travel
in that kind of weather and be with their families after all those
years of sacrifice so we could have mail.

I had planned to get so many things accomplished since we all knew
the storm was coming. Like you, I have so many things that I would
like to catch up on and thought this would be the perfect opportunity
to do that. Much to my surprise, I did not WANT to do anything except
take naps, have hot cocoa, hot soup and just chill out. I started
to chastise myself and then realized that storms such as these, create
an opportunity to be GOOD to ourselves and just ALLOW and TRUST that
all is in Divine Order and will get done when it is supposed to.
That is called Divine Timing. So I relaxed and did nothing. I like
that feeling and plan to “remember” it more often.

I woke up yesterday morning and the snow looked like cotton candy,
soft and fluffy. It was all glittering like it was full of diamonds.
We had just a dusting but it was enough to cover the old stuff and
make it look like glitter. What a sight that was. So you see living
on a lake has many different opportunities to see the beauty that
Mother Nature tries to give us if we but look.

I hope your Valentine’s Day was full of love…beginning with the
love you have for yourself. Where all the other holidays celebrate
with more days than one, Valentine’s Day is just that…a single day
to celebrate. And…..it is universal. Love encompasses ALL. People
and animals and nature and absolutely this exquisite planet.

This past week we celebrated the wonders of Mother Nature, Ash
Wednesday, Mardi Gras and many other celebrations that I cannot
remember the names of. All cultures are celebrating at this time
which means globally there is singing, dancing, love and gaiety.
It so reminds me of when I was a child and enjoying each moment
that presented itself to me. Soooo many memories of when I felt
so trusting and innocent. This music seems to just go along with
all that I am feeling right now. Each of us is a Bridge of Love
when we share our gifts and do what we love. I have such gratitude
to all who have been such a bridge to me and although this music is
from my generation, I believe all generations love and appreciate it.

My generations did it Our Way and now it is time to turn the gavel
over to the next generation to do it Their Way. Yet…..we can still
be valuable as mentors with our life experiences.

I wanted to share this with you so you feel and know that you are
such a bridge also.

Paul Anka wrote this for Sinatra, and only a violin can make this
sound as beautiful as it truly is. Don’t miss this.

Andre Rieu doesn’t often play his violin through whole pieces; this
he did! Also some lovely photos of the arrival of immigrants to the
USA, such as Frank Sinatra’s parents.

CELEBRATE LOVE

Beloved,

Here in the Northeast we are awaiting the strongest burst from this
predicted Nor’easter or Blizzard. Schools are closed and the
governor has asked everyone to stay off the roads if possible and
recommended that all employees leave at noon to get home before the
worst sets in. When I got up this morning, it was snowing but JUST
knowing about the storm I feel compelled to be lazy and just hang
around in my pj’s. I usually get this newsletter out to you a lot
earlier in the day but I just can’t seem to “make” myself be focused
and active. This is strange for me as Friday is the busiest day in
the week for me as I write to you and then I prepare what I am going
to say on my weekly TV Show and then write the script and then am off
to produce my show.

Well, the studio has been closed down because of the storm so I have
no deadline to get all the preparations done and what am I doing?
Actually nothing, just listening and reading emails that I have not’
been able to get to. I am sitting here in my pj’s with the heater
blowing nice warm air on me. Yesterday I was busy preparing for
“Matters of the Heart Psychic Fair” in Milford, Ma on Sunday Feb 10th.
That event has been postponed until next Sunday, Feb 17 so there is
no immediate necessary preparation for it. If you are interested in
attending, just send me an email and I will forward you the info.

What is about an impending storm that makes you want to curl up,
have hot cocoa and read a good book? My thought on that is that
we don’t give ourselves many opportunities to just chill out and do
nothing. NOW, we have an excuse. I propose that we just allow
ourselves more opportunities like this without feeling any guilt
over not being busy. Even the birds are acting strangely. Usually
the birds are all over the feeders just before a storm in order to
fill up but there were no birds at my feeders this morning. Do you
know why? If you do, please email me and let me know. Maybe they
just want to curl up in the bushes and wait it out but it is unusual.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY BELOVED! You are beloved as I see the Love
in you and the LOVE that our Creator has for you.

History of Valentines

In ancient Rome, the 14th of February was a celebration honoring
Juno, Queen of the Roman Gods and Goddesses. This is the equivalent
of celebrating the Divine Mother or Divine Feminine energy. The
following day the Lupercian Festival was held in honor of the God
of Fertility. During these festivities young men would choose the
name of a single young woman from a jar and would spend not only the
festival time, but the following year courting her. This often
resulted in marriage.

When Claudius II became Emperor, however, all that changed. Having
difficulty recruiting young men as soldiers,he determined they were
unwilling to leave their sweethearts. All engagements and marriages
were cancelled. Nonetheless, a Catholic Bishop named Valentine,
who understood the true nature of love, began secretly marrying
young couples. He paid for his treasonous act with his life. The
church later renamed the celebration of the Divine Mother and it
became known as St. Valentine’s day.

This is a day that we can chill out with those we love, let us
do just that. Valentine’s Day is to celebrate LOVE in all of its
forms, it is not just for a special someone although it is a
wonderful to do that also. In fact, let’s make every day Valentine’s
Day, make every day a day to celebrate Love with everyone. What
a wonderful world this would be.

“‘When the flower blooms, the bee comes uninvited. ~Ramakrishna’

When the path of love returns us to its true dwelling place,
unconditional love is discovered right here in our own heart, with
no strings attached; yet it continually invites the flower of our
being to blossom. When it does, “the bees come uninvited,” but you
may no longer care whether they do or don’t. You are content to be
Love-simple, open, intimate, undivided. “Alyssa”

“Perhaps our Valentine is the whole universe and You are it! You are
the expression of its Love.”

least celebrating. Here are two links that will give you the ideas
